ALYSSA'S POV.

I laid in my bed after waking up as I didn't feel like stepping into the same breathing space with Trevor after what transpired between us last night.

How could he say such hurtful words to me ?.

I thought and got out of bed to take shower and start my day. After all I can't stay indoor all day.

After having a bath I picked out my outfit for the day.

There's nothing special about the day after all. Just some immense training according to him.

I say to myself and opt for a rather simple Gray colored ankle length corset dress. It wasn’t really an appropriate dress for a fight but I knew I would still change once the time to train comes. I secured the lace of my dress as I stand in front of the mirror.

I picked up my hair brush and run it through my strawberry colored hair before stepping out of the room.

I soon found Trevor at the dining hall and muttered a " good morning " in a way that suggested that I was still angry about last night but he didn't seem to budge.

I ignored his reaction and took a seat across him on the other end of the long dining table sitting directly across him and silently wishing I had told one of the workers that I felt ill and wanted my breakfast served in the bedroom but it was rather too late for that.

If a saucy attitude is what he wants then I'll give it to him, Two can after all play the game.

With this thought in my head, I smiled sheepishly and caught him stealing a glance of me. .

The breakfast table was awfully quiet and I found it it super awkward. Trevor concentrated so well on his meal that he made me feel as though the fight never happened.

I had lost my appetite for it even though I would have eaten it on w good day and pushed the food forward.

Ready to leave the dining hall, I heard Trevor's voice and I froze.

" And where do you think you are going?." He questioned.

I looked away and pretended not to know he was there before signaling a guard to come forward.

" Tell the Alpha that I'd like for him to go for a hunt in the woods." I whispered.

The servant bowed and went over to Trevor's side of the table to relay my message.

My eyes were glued to him to see his reaction but to my surprise he didn't even lift his head as he muttered a response to the servant. He walked over to my side of the table and said.

" The Alpha says you can't go hunting in the woods."

I clenched my fist on the table, thinking before whispering to the servant again .

" Tell the Alpha that I will go hunting whether he wants that or not. " I whispered.

I watched as the servant scurried over to Trevor's side of the table and soon he was back.

" The Alpha says he makes the rules and he has forbidden you from hunting in the woods." The guard relayed.

I stared at Trevor for few minutes before whispering to the servant again.

" Tell the Alpha I said I make my own rules." I whispered.

He went over to deliver my message to Trevor and this time Trevor locked eyes with me before giving him a response.

" The Alpha says that he is not in the mood for the game you're trying to play." said the servant the minute he came back as he tried to sound courteous.

I smiled at him before whispering again.

" Tell the Alpha that the only one playing games here is him and last night is an obvious example of that. "

The servant scurried over to Trevor's side of the table obviously tired of going back and forth between two people who were sitting across each other on the same table and soon came back to me saying;

" The Alpha says he is in no mood to take about that and that you might go into the woods if you please."

At this point I knew that trying to engage him in a conversation that way was going to be fruitless so I dismissed the servant who went back to his duty post, obviously relieved.

I ate the rest of my breakfast in silence with a lot of thoughts going through my head.

I was to be the one angry but he is the one giving me an attitude.

I thought to myself and pushed the thoughts aside when I remembered that we were still going to train and since Trevor trains me himself, he would have no other option than to talk to me.

With these thoughts in my head, I happily finished my meal and caught Trevor stealing glances of me from time to time.

After I finished my breakfast I went back up to the room to change into something more comfortable for training and soon went back to training grounds where I saw Trevor with another woman.

I could barely contain my anger and it took a great deal of self control for me not to cause a scene there. I knew exploding would cause a great harm to those around because of how strong I had gotten.

I felt a mixture of jealousy and pain and was still lost in the feeling when a voice jolted me back to life.

" Hey Alyssa." Nolan said as he sent me a bright smile which I responded with a faint smile.

" I'll be training you today." Nolan informed.

I didn't expect that he would go to that length just so he wouldn't talk to me but I quietly followed Nolan anyways.

I saw Trevor training this other woman probably oblivious to the fact that I was there at the training grounds .

I couldn't focus at the training as my attention was divided between what Trevor was doing and my training with Nolan. I knew the situation at hand was far more important than my jealous feelings.

With that thought in my head, I pushed back all those distracting feelings and tried to concentrate on the training. Which grew very hard as the other woman started to giggle at something Trevor had said.

Nolan hit his sword against mine and I immediately lost my balance hitting the ground in a thud.

" Are you ok? You seem distracted." Nolan said while stretching out his hand to help me up.

" Yes I'm ok , I just lost my balance. That’s all." I responded and added a chuckle so as to sound ok.

" Alyssa, you've been off throughout the training. Are you sure you're ok?." Nolan asked, obviously worried.

I glanced at Trevor and the woman before picking up my sword and facing Nolan to tell him I was ready to continue training.

" I'm fine " I said in a rather cold tone.

TREVOR'S POV

I woke up this morning with a stretch of my hand to the other side of the bed and was surprised to find it empty. It took me a while to remember that I didn't spend the night in the same room with Alyssa.

Slightly dazed I took a shower and dressed up before going down to the dining hall for breakfast. I walked past Alyssa's room and for a moment I felt tempted to open her door and check on her but I restrained myself after recalling what happened the previous night.

Getting to the dining room I sat down at the head of the table and got down to the business of breakfast. Alyssa soon came into the room and although she was wearing a rather dull color that still radiated her beauty.

She greeted me with "good morning " but I felt like she was mocking me so I refused to reply her.

To my utmost surprise she just walked up to her the other end of the table and had her seat. I'd been expecting her to sit on any of the chairs near me .

As if sitting across me wasn't enough I saw her smiling at her self and wondered.

" What could possibly be funny right now?."

I decided whatever was making her smile wasn't my business so I just focused on my food until I suddenly heard a sound.

It was Alyssa pushing her plate forward on the table and before I could stop myself the words " where do you think you're going?." already escaped my lips.

Instead of her to answer me like any regular Wolf would have done shy just beckoned on a servant and whispered something to him .

The servant came over to tell me Alyssa wanted to go hunting in the woods. I kept a rather cool calm expression when he went back to deliver my response to her. That she wasn’t allowed to go. I knew this would annoy her but never was I going to let her step out into the dangerous woods. One that her ex mate might be lurking in.

The servant kept going back and forth between I and Alyssa conveying our messages. Secretly, I loved the concept but knew I couldn't make it obvious so I sent her a message telling her to stop the childish behavior.

The rest of breakfast went quietly until I remembered that it would soon be time to train. I usually trained Alyssa myself so I know I wouldn't be able to avoid her for much longer . Alyssa soon finished her meal leaving me alone at the dining table.

I got to the training grounds and there was no signs of Alyssa yet instead I saw a strange woman and my wolf immediately sensed something off about her. I went over to her in a bid to know about her.

I got to know that her name was Julia.

Whilst engaging Julia in a conversation Nolan walked up to us and they both exchanged pleasantries before he turned to me to ask about Alyssa's whereabout.

" I don't know. She should be here by now." I answered and it immediately licked that I might have encouraged to really go hunting.

But could she?.

I wondered.

Nolan looked at me with confusion but somehow didn't ask any further questions.

“ Do you have a training partner?.” Nolan asked, turning to Julia.

“ I…” She was about saying when I cut in.

“ Yes. Yes I am her training partner.” I chirped in and for a brief second I was unable to read the expression on his face.

Nolan looked at me for a while before asking.

" And who would train Alyssa, Master?.” He asked.

“ You should. See this as a way of showing your loyalty to your Master and also helping one of the most skilled warriors here get better.” I responded.

“ Okay Master.” He responded and walked away without any more questions.

I kept looking behind me at intervals to check if she was back yet or if I was to drop all my pride and go search for her. Just when I was about to do the latter, I saw Alyssa arrive at training grounds and I quickly looked away, pretending not to be aware of her presence.

Soon I feel her eyes on me, burning in my skin and It made me want to turn around to see how jealous she would be and laugh at the expression in her face.

I could hear Nolan’s conversation with her after her loud thud on the floor but still I refused to budge instead I came with something so funny that caused Julie to laugh out loudly.

“ Oh Trevor. You are such a darling.” She yelled and a smile curved my lips.
