Chapter 18: Flight
Oliva's body still vibrated in response to the vivid memories of the orgasm Lian had given her. She had never enjoyed it with such intensity in her life. The Omega ignored the remote feelings of desperate submission, of wanting to be slapped and gagged, after all, Lian Allen would never have the courage to do such absurd things to her, even if Oliva herself asked or even begged.
And this only reinforced how happy she was with her choice of life partner, Lian was sweet and gentle, kind and incapable of hurting her. Whatever dark desires Oliva possessed could be locked away in a thousand keys inside her, Lian would not let her lose control, it was safe and calm to live by his side.
So why the hell couldn't she forget that damned dream with the tying up and outrageous slapping?
The young woman tormented herself even after she had vigorously enjoyed herself, the indecent images colored her mind clearly and objectively; her body, her stupid gene desperately wanted that, that way.
Lian was the best guy Oliva had ever had a relationship with. He understood all her limitations, her traumas, and fears, and to have sex with him, especially in the heat, was crazy and unique. He had given her the best orgasm of her life, but why didn't she feel it was enough yet?
The young woman's head was bubbling with these and a hundred thousand other questions that kept coming to her mind, her feet were walking barefoot through the cold carpeting of the third-floor hallway, her body trembling slightly because of the cold that emanated throughout the house. After all the commotion of bodies, she couldn't spend any more time with Lian, she had to go back to her room because it was almost dawn, and she didn't want anyone to see her walking through the corridors at that time in the morning.
Oliva was properly dressed in her pajamas, but of course without her panties that she couldn't save due to the brutality of the alpha who ripped them off without a second thought. She looks around before carefully entering her double bedroom, begging to find her husband sleeping the same way she left him.
"Was the little party good?" Matteo's voice sounded through the dimness ablaze in the room, making her shiver with fright from head to toe.
"I don't know what party you're talking about." Oliva sounded firm. So firm that even she wouldn't question herself, yet she knew the boy wouldn't leave her alone. She heard a sniffle and soon the lamp lights came on, brightening half of the room and revealing Matteo's tormented face with dilated nostrils and the girl took a slight step back, stepping back.
Matteo stared at the girl for a while, her freshly washed hair dripping and drenching the shoulders of the yellow pajamas she was wearing. She took seriously his advice to take a good shower after fucking Lian because she didn't emanate any hazelnut shell, only the smell of sweetened mint came out intensely from her fresh, freshly bathed skin. The alpha closed his eyes, analyzing her. Her shoulders were slumped, her cheeks were flushed, her lips were red with a few light cracks, and sure enough, there was something different about her face. A glow.
In the alpha's eyes, Oliva had never looked more attractive than she did now. And it was hard for him to admit the preference for low-quality sex that he imagined his brother provided her, but it seemed to do her a lot of good. She looked more like a woman.
Matteo felt a wave of heat spread through him, his eyes flickered into yellow sparks and the wolf inside him growled internally wanting out. The alpha took a deep breath and looked away from the young woman who looked helpless and at the same time seduced him with any simple movement.
"Where were you? You must spend your nights with me." The boy started in the Pacific.
"Wrong. I must lie beside you every night, that's all." Oliva says regaining her challenging timbre and posture and there were fears of getting so close to the boy, so she stands in the same place.
"So can I take that as a betrayal on our first wedding night?" he asks, loaded with cynicism. "It would end the new Omega era."
"Not that I owe you an explanation Matteo, but my obligation to you is only when I go to bed at 10 pm, and it is not written anywhere in our contract that I need to wake up giggling beside you at 5 am." The young woman takes a breath and heads toward the closet and hides in the middle of the closet, trying to ease that palpable tension that only alpha could establish between the two.
Oliva quickly removes her damp clothes and put on warm and comfortable garments, by now she didn't know whether to shiver from cold or nervousness. She didn't know the time yet, but it wouldn't be long before dawn. She couldn't go back to sleeping with Matteo in her room, it wouldn't be morally correct to sleep with another man after a hot and kinky early morning with her boyfriend.
"That still doesn't answer my question. Where were you?"
"I..." the young woman runs her hands through her hair, flustered thinking of a plausible excuse. "I was an insomniac and went for a run." She grimaces, 'what was that nonsense that came out of my mouth?" she encourages voicelessly, slapping her forehead feeling her hands extremely cold.
"There's a storm coming down outside Oliva."
"Which is exactly why my hair is wet." The girl emerges in the room fully dressed and bundled up. Matteo opens his mouth to discuss something further, however Oliva's cell phone rings and she rushes to answer it ignoring it, and thanks him softly. She was saved from further questioning.
"Mrs. Moore, Good morning." Oliva hears her assistant's voice on the other end of the call. "I have some bad news... Due to bad weather, your flight has been canceled."
"Is there any chance it will be rescheduled?"
"In a few hours yes, but flights will still be suspended until further notice" Sophia pauses. "Ma'am, we can't delay your meeting. You need to be in Ottawa tomorrow night."
"All right, Sophi." Oliva thinks for a moment and a light goes on in her head, like a flame of hope. "I'll drive."
"Great! I'll send a driver to pick you up in a moment." The voice resounds excitedly.
"It's not necessary. I want to spend some time alone."
"But ma'am..."
"But nothing. Email me everything. I'll be out in an hour." Oliva hangs up.
It was the perfect opportunity to get away from Matteo, or any stupid alpha these days that she is so awkward. She experienced unique things with the touches and hickeys in the right places, yet she needed to reflect on how it all affected her conscience and the life she led and believed was right. She didn't know what she wanted.
"My bag is already packed." Matteo turns on the bedroom light completely. He was wearing only light, bluish-toned shorts, his armored skin looked so warm and comfortable that the young woman dizzied just imagining sinking her icy hands into the alpha's defined, soft abdomen.
'What am I thinking?' Oliva's conscience screamed. Oliva would never get used to the fact that Matteo was Lian's identical twin, and even though it was rare it was even a little bizarre how nature allowed us to copy another person's appearance like that. 'It's only because he has Lian's face. That's the only reason I'm attracted to him. Matteo is so persistent it's annoying. I can't look into his eyes. And I can't even look at his spotted chest, which was even a little bigger than Lian's.' Oliva was so distracted that she didn't realize she was spending too much time watching the boy. She tilted her head to the side genuinely staring at the half-naked alpha in front of her, numb.
"You're scaring me looking at me with that crazy face," Matteo says wondering at the young woman's fixation. "I'm not a piece of meat, don't look at me like that!" He covers his bare back dramatically and goes running towards the closet giving a smug laugh.
Silence floods the room. Until the young woman realizes what she has just heard and her cheeks flush, embarrassed.
"There is no way you are going with me!" She raises her voice for him to hear her. "Let me run away from you in peace."
"Not really."
-
Lightning flashes clear the overcast sky. Raindrops hit the windshield and the defroster wipes the sweaty glass. The air conditioner sends gulps of heat into the closed environment, the girl's fingertips were white with cold and with every inch, she moved the car forward in the middle of that bloody traffic jam she tightened her hands tighter on the steering wheel, anxious to be in such a tight environment with Matteo. Oliva cursed the bad weather and wondered why so many people had to get on the highway at the same time she did.
No matter how hot the heater was, it seemed to not affect her pale, icy skin. Oliva felt an uncomfortable chill on her spine that she didn't know where it came from.
The storm roars with its gusts of wind between the buildings, and the car horns blare in the dead traffic. He thinks about what he went through in the morning.
Her Omega gene roared in her ears, whispering things she didn't want to hear.
'Is this why my body changes and my mood swings? Is that why I feel different and can't control myself? Is submission really going to be a part of my life? Why is this happening to me right now?'
She asked herself frantically. Her mind was accusing her at every moment. Oliva knew that transmutation to the full gene was difficult, that's why she avoided it for so long, she was afraid of going through it and feeling out of place. Her identity was based on her defenses against the alphabet, she fought hard to impose her voice and not let it be used as a command voice, even her father never dared to do so. And the dilemma was: in the midst of so much chaos within herself, would she be ready to go into a forest and ask for the loyalty of alphas at the beginning of a rut?
How would she deal with wild dogs like that? It didn't matter what position she was in; it didn't matter the respect of others; it didn't matter her Moore surname. In the end, she was still the crazy Omega of the most respected family in the ABO circle.
Oliva Moore is a sick joke and offended the lupus genes.
Everything she had always avoided was screaming inside her to come out. And her body begged her mind to let her enjoy the promiscuous, addictive, dirty, immoral carnal pleasures too much for the conservative young woman. The fragile Omega with the naughty, needy gene did not match her strong personality.
Oliva was in crisis. She closed her eyes tightly trying to stifle her thoughts, wishing that the darkness of her vision would purify the mournful feeling and lull her into emptiness. She was lost in her character.
"Hey Oliv, slow down!" Matteo has a jolt and holds on to the support of the vehicle. The young woman didn't even realize that she had squeezed the accelerator of the car in the line going inches and almost hit the back of the car stopped in front if not for the warning.
She was so inert that she even remembered that Matteo was beside her.
