Chapter 198

**Elizabeth's POV**

Was I going to ruin the world?

I didn't know. I still hated it. But I couldn't say "yes" anyway.

After a long hesitation, I said, "I don't know. Maybe I'll want to destroy the world when it's at its worst. But as far as I can see, it's not so awful."

Isabella laughed. She gave a relieved smile.

Tears slid down her cheeks.

"How I wish I had thought as you do now 10,000 years ago. However..."

She choked up and said no more.

I noticed that her body was dissipating, "Isabella, your body..."

"It's time for me to leave. I should have left a long time ago. Elizabeth, be firm in what you think is right. Be strong, you are particular. The moon goddess has given you an enormous task. You can change the world..."

Isidore's body became more and more transparent, and then disappeared altogether.

I suddenly felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. I screamed and came to my senses utterly.

There was a lot of noise around me, and I heard someone talking to me.

"Push! I can see the baby's head! Hold on, push! The baby is coming out!"

"Ahhhhhhhhh-" I felt my belly hurt like a hammer had hit me. I clutched the sheet beneath me and gathered all my strength in my belly.

Suddenly, I felt something leave my body.

"Congratulations! It's born! It's a boy!"

I struggled to open my eyes and see the child's face clearly. I watched as they were about to take the baby away, and I hastily pulled them back.

"Where are you taking my baby?"

The female nurse reassured me, "Don't worry, we're just taking the baby to the baby's father. The baby's father is outside..."

The baby's father...

I looked up and saw nine heads staring anxiously at me from the doorway. Elroy, the largest, pushed past the others as he tried to walk into the room, only to be kicked out by the nurse.

"Leave the professional stuff to the professionals. Don't come in here. You won't help and you'll bring in germs!"

"I just want to hold the baby..."

The nurse avoided his outstretched arms, "Look only, no holding. Which one of you is the baby's father?"

"I am!" many men said at the same time.

I didn't know how the doctors and nurses would react; I had fainted from exhaustion.

When I woke up again, I saw the baby lying asleep in a crib next to me.

There were several familiar voices talking outside the door.

"The fact that that vampire is working with the Blood Moon Pack's alpha is proof enough that he is the same type of bastard as the Blood Moon Pack's alpha, so we can't trust him."

"But if we can convince him to cooperate with us, then we can easily defeat the Warriors of the Blood Moon Pack."

"I agree with Brandon's opinion. We already know that the number of vampires is very high. If we fight with them, we will definitely have a lot of casualties even if we win the battle. It's better to cooperate instead."

"No, don't forget that he is a vampire. Vampires and werewolves have been enemies since thousands of years ago. He won't faithfully cooperate with us. If he betrays us the consequences will be terrible."

"But he worked very well with us in finding and saving Elizabeth. Maybe we can keep this partnership going."

"It's not the same. We just agree on the matter of saving Elizabeth. But that doesn't mean we can agree on everything..."

"Hey, you guys are talking bad about me in my room and in my territory. Do you think that's appropriate?" King Louis' voice suddenly interjected into their conversation.

"We're not afraid that you'll hear us bad-mouthing you. Because what we say is the truth. You cunning vampires are not to be trusted!"

"You werewolves are always so reckless. Brainless guys. Aren't you afraid that I'll set a trap here?"

"Then I'll kill all you damn vampires and leave..."

Seeing that a big battle between vampires and werewolves was about to break out, I hurriedly coughed and interrupted them.

"Elizabeth! You're awake!"

Isidore opened his wings and flew towards me. Before he could touch me, Elroy grabbed his wings and threw him aside.

"My doll! I have finally found you! It's been so long! I've missed you so much!" Elroy hugged me and howled.

He couldn't control the force at all. Even though he had held me very gently, I still felt out of breath.

Julian hit Elroy on the head with his scepter, "Let her go! You stupid bastard! You're hurting her!"

I saw Caleb, and his eyes were full of tears. He held out his hand to me, and I reached out my hand to him.

But I suddenly realized that Francis had lost his temper, and a flame sprang up from his skin, setting his clothes on fire.

I grabbed Francis's arm in a hurry, "Calm down! Control your fire!"

"Yes! Okay!" Francis hurriedly picked up a pot of water and poured it over his head.

Rolling black smoke filled the room, and everyone coughed.

Brandon and Austin dragged Francis and Elroy outside, "Get out, you two! GET OUT!"

Despite the bed lying beneath me, the room had no windows and was clearly a vampire's room. Smoke inside the room for a long time can not be dissipated. When they opened the door, the wind blew the smoke inside instead.

Dylan immediately used a spatial isolation spell to block the smoke from me.

I was surprised. Why did Dylan's fishtail become a double leg? Why was he here? There were many questions in my mind, but obviously, this was not the time to ask.

What surprised me even more was that Dylan's spatial isolation spell soon failed. He looked as if his strength had run out and he couldn't stand up straight.

It was Julian who eventually summoned the wind with his scepter and swept all the black smoke out of the room.
