Chapter 151: My Rejected Wife Is A Billionaire

"Bob?" Cecilia took a moment to recall that he was Justin's assistant.

"What happened?"

On the other end, Bob watched the brawl unfolding before him and couldn't sugarcoat it. "Mr. Quinn is in a fight with someone."

"Justin?"

Cecilia's ears almost refused to believe what they were hearing.

How could the composed and stoic Justin be involved in a brawl?

"Yes."

If Cecilia didn't come, it was unlikely that Lucas and Justin would cease their fight.

Cecilia hesitated, her mind racing. "I'm sorry, but his affairs are no longer my concern," she replied with regained composure. "We're divorced now. If you need help, you should contact his family."

After a moment of silence, Bob added, "The person he's fighting with is Mr. Vinchy. It seems to be because of you."

"Lucas?"

Cecilia's heart skipped a beat at the mention of Lucas' name.

"Yes," Bob replied firmly.

For anyone else, Cecilia might have turned a blind eye, but Lucas held significant meaning to her.

He wasn't just anyone. There was a debt of gratitude owed to him.

Hurriedly ensuring Nico was settled, Cecilia rushed to Gelo Club.

As she entered, Bob's face lit up as if she were a savior. "Ms. Green, you've finally arrived."

"Where are they?" Cecilia looked at him.

Before Bob could respond, a loud crash echoed through the room.

Cecilia's scalp prickled as she pushed open the door.

Inside the private room, chaos reigned.

Two figures exchanged blows, the sound of their fists connecting sending a chill down Cecilia's spine.

With another thud, Lucas staggered backward, colliding with the wall.

Unable to stand by any longer, Cecilia raised her voice. "Stop!"

Both men froze, turning to look at her.

Justin's expression darkened noticeably while Lucas grinned.

Without hesitation, he threw a punch at Justin right before Cecilia's eyes.

Justin winced as the blow landed, then retaliated, engaging Lucas in a ferocious struggle.

With narrowed eyes, Cecilia watched as Justin forced Lucas into a corner.

He seemed to be at a disadvantage, bearing the brunt of the onslaught.

Initially, Cecilia had intended to leave, but witnessing the scene unfold before her, she couldn't turn a blind eye any longer. Stepping forward, she positioned herself between them. "Stop fighting!"

Justin's fist, swift as a gale, was poised to strike Lucas with force.

Yet, upon catching sight of Cecilia, he abruptly halted his motion, his fist grazing her cheek before crashing into the wall behind her with a resounding thud.

The impact was solid, and the force behind it intensified by the abrupt change in direction to avoid Cecilia.

Cecilia's heart pounded. She couldn't help but growl, "Is this how you two adults resolve their conflicts? Have you no shame?"

Justin remained silent, glaring at Lucas.

Lucas, on the other hand, flashed him a meaningful smirk before pulling Cecilia into his arms. "Are you alright?"

Shaking her head, Cecilia asked, "And you? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine." He shook his head.

His face was swollen and bruised, distorted from the blows.

Cecilia looked at Lucas helplessly. "With your face like this, how can you say you're fine? Let me take you to the hospital."

With that, she grabbed his arm and began to lead him away.

Lucas didn't refuse and followed her out.

Behind them, Justin stood in silence, his brows furrowed, his arms hanging limp, exuding an icy aura.

Observing Cecilia's focus solely on Lucas and seemingly ignoring Justin, Bob couldn't help but intervene. "Ms. Green, Mr. Quinn... is also injured."

"Take him to see a doctor."

Cecilia had indeed noticed Justin's injuries, but what right did she have to care about him?

With that said, she walked past Bob, continuing on her way.

However, as she reached the door, she felt a sudden tightening around her arm.

Turning back, she saw her arm firmly grasped by a wounded grip.

The owner of the grip stood silently, his handsome face marred by injury, lips pursed, not uttering a word.

His darkened expression was intimidating.

Startled by this unexpected sight of Justin, Cecilia couldn't help but gaze at him.

His eyes were deeper than usual, and beneath his usual sternness, there seemed to be a hint of... resentment.

Cecilia's heart sank inexplicably. She blinked as if trying to see more clearly.

But before she could dwell on it further, a figure stepped in, blocking her view.

Lucas looked at Justin with a half-smile. "Justin, with your current situation with Erin making headlines, how do you think people will perceive it if Cecilia is with you?"

At Lucas' words, Justin's tightly clenched fingers suddenly lost their grip, loosening their hold.

Seizing the opportunity, Lucas pulled Cecilia's hand and swiftly departed.

Approaching, Bob looked at Justin's bloodied fists. "Mr. Quinn, let me take you to the hospital."

Justin didn't respond, walking past him expressionlessly.

His fists, dripping with blood, hung limply by his sides, each drop falling like a heavy burden.

He seemed devoid of pain sensation as he got into the car and closed his eyes.

In his mind, the scene of Cecilia risking her life to protect Lucas played over and over again.

Lucas' abilities were far beyond what he had displayed just now. All that weakness was an act.

But she couldn't see through it at all...

What did that signify?

Justin didn't want to dwell on it further, but his chest felt as if it were being pounded by fists, a dull ache pulsating.
