Chapter 64: Professional

"*Oh no*! **It** ***is*** **Daven**! "

The time that she has is short right now.

Moreover, the only door that can lead her out is where he is standing.

His every stumbling step only made her thoughts worsen and she had to do something before he catches her.

It's not that she doesn't want to talk to him but after what has happened between them, she didn't know how to react nor feel.

For now, all she wants to focus is on how to get her mom on her feet and that only means she has to avoid all the obstacles that would prevent it.

*There's no way I'm going to talk to him, just not now*.

*Not now*!

Thoughts occupied her mind as she shook her head, picking up her books hurriedly but where could she possibly go?

There's no other door that leads her out of this and Jule's head heated up with anxiety and panic.

But—

*No door*–

*Right*.

*It's not like i have* ***no*** **other way** *out of this*.

Her eyes blinked wide as soon as it clicked in her mind.

"Yes! That's right."

She whispered out as her head shot up towards the window.

Biting her nails nervously, she glanced at Daven, who harshly pushed them away, raging towards her.

His every step had heart thump over her chest like the bangs on the door.

Slamming the long window's door open, Jule closed her eyes tightly, forcing herself to not look behind her.

*Do it*!

And she jumped.

Daven's eyes widened as soon as she threw her books out of the window.

Her one foot on the base of the window, she jumped out of the window making his Raging steps to fasten up.

"Jule, no!"

His jaw clenched before he closed his eyes.

Jule's lips parted as a gasp left her lips upon feeling the cold surface of the tiles against the palm of her hands.

Hair being blown away by the cold breeze, Jule's head shot up from the floor before her eyes met with the medium height wall where the red letters were painted big and bright that were stating '→**To cafeteria**'.

That's right. She's in the lane that will lead her to the steps and from there she can easily walk towards the canteen and from there she can walk to the first floor.

Biting her lip, Jule can sense that it's not possible at some point and she might run into him again.

*But trying it wouldn't hurt, would it*?

Jule stood up before her eyes met with Daven's.

Gritting his teeth, he tried to open the door of the window but Jule very well knew that they wouldn't be able to open for another 10 mins.

They are auto-lock windows which were involved in every classroom to prevent the students from bunking classes.

Gulping as he glared at her through the glass window, Jule avoided him and immediately gathered all her books and bags before rushing towards the stairs.

His loud slams echoed like he's right behind her, but Jule rolled her eyes, avoiding his strong slams and took the stairs down to the cafeteria.

Reaching the cafeteria that was on the first floor, Jule spotted Mika at the counter which immediately made her call her out.

But her shynese made her immediately withdraw her hand from raising.

Mika's head turned around as she noticed a hand being raised in mid way and her eyes immediately trailed down the very hand.

"Oh—Jule!"

Jule's head raised and she immediately smiled upon seeing Mika run to her.

Taking her both hands, Mika jumped in joy.

"Let's go!? We can order the coffees from home? We can't be late!"

Jule nervously looked around as she nibbled on her lips.

"How long is it gonna take to order here?"

Mika's eyes narrowed.

"Here..? Maybe 10 minutes?"

Mika said and Jule immediately handed her the books.

"Okay, then, wait for me. I'll be back with my bag?"

Mika looked down at the notes Jule placed in her hands.

"B-but—"

Mika raises her head but the words didn't get out of her mouth.

Mika's eyes didn't look into Jule's but right behind which made Jule frown.

But her frown soon stretched and her eyes widened upon realizing it.

"Oh no, Dav—"

She turned around within her fists squeezing her dress ever so tightly.

But the eyes that met hers didn't seem to be Daven's.

Her eyes softly narrowed but when her eyes trailed down his lips to his tempting neck, Jule's eyes widened upon noticing the familiar scratch on it and a gulp took place in her throat.

"C-christopher?"

The coldness on his face stayed still as Jule stuttered upon seeing him.

Wayn took a hold of her wrist before pulling her with himself.

The whole cafeteria went silent as Jule's wide eyes followed the back of Wayn who dragged her gently with himself.

"Hey, Jessica— look at her!"

Jessica's eyes averted from her boyfriend and her eyes that had been narrowed in confusion immediately stretched and her hands froze in the middle of wrapping around her boyfriend's neck.

"Wow, he's so hot!!!"

Jule's cheeks burned when someone she walked by whined.

Her eyes slowly lowered to the floor as Wayn's hand tightened around her wrist which only made her hand ball into a fist.

*What's happening to me*? *Why do I feel so good right now*?

As she looked up, she was already out of the cafeteria and they were walking towards his car that was parked at the entrance of the university.

As everyone's eyes turned to her along with their attention, Jule's eyes averted to Wayn's back once again.

She blinked and blinked once again, making sure that whatever that is happening isn't a dream like before.

As Wayn walked her to his car, he let her hand go.

Opening the car door for her, Wayn turned his head to Jule as she didn't move from where he left her.

Eyes wide, cheeks flushed, she clutched her dress tightly as her heart fluttered and her stomach felt the butterflies fly up and high.

"Get in."

Wayn stated and Jule's eyes immediately met his very intimidating ones before she nervously looked away.

Getting inside the car, Jule spent the very few seconds suffering with her fast pacing heart which seemed to burst any second by now.

Her hands began to sweat up and Jule felt her skin turn cold.

Rubbing her hands nervously, Jule froze and she heard a slam which means he also got in.

Taking a glance at him, Jule gulped as he took out a cigarette.

Placing it between his lips, he took out the lighter and Jule spoke, interrupting him.

"I-I think I forgot to—"

The car's driver side door opened and her eyes averted from Wayn only to realize that Lunar picked up her things already.

"I took care of it."

Her eyes immediately turned to him and her cheeks warmed up upon noticing his pink lips.

Trailing her eyes off of his lips, Jule shyly turned her head away within a whisper of "Thanks!" left her lips.

"Your welcome, baby."

Her grip on her dress tightened as his deep voice echoed in the car and it's not only Jule, whose head shot up at that moment.

Lunar slowly looked behind and Jule looked at him.

Lunar slowly looked away, clearing his throat while his eyes went up and down at Jule.

Gulping, Jule hummed stutteringly, turning her head away.

But Wayn's eyes noticed the very distance she placed between them which only made him roll his eyes away.

His hand gently fell over her lap and he tapped it, making her flinch but then, she eyed his hand and looked up at him, confused by his signals.

"I want you here."

He pointed beside him, making her body vibrate in every way possible.

"U-umm o-okay.."

Scooting closer shyly, Jule gulped as his arm wrapped around her shoulder, rubbing her arm ever so soothingly.

"W-where are we going?"

She managed to speak out and Wayn took a inhale of the smoke before exhaling through his nostrils.

Jule closed her eyes, avoiding the sickening smell of the cigarettes.

"To the mall."

She let out an "oh!" Before nodding.

"How's…"

"Wake me when we reach there."

Wayn paused when Jule scooted away from him.

His arm didn't budge from where it had been all this time.

Jule nervously laid her head over the seat and turned away, making Wayn sigh heavily.

*Right*.

He sucked the cigarette's tip before he blinked.

***Professional***.
