Chapter 57: Dr. Yin's Confession
"Jule!"
*That voice*..
As much pain that I felt through every vein in my body as possible, my heart skipped beats as if I'm in my teen years.
As if he's still the person who I thought is everything to me.
Turning around was useless at this point but him, who for the first time came to rescue me is what made me feel so useful.
For the first time in my life, I didn't feel like what I was treated as my whole life.
His eyes are beaming like the bright sun in the sky while my skin burned under his gaze.
My hand squeezed the sharp piece of glass tighter making it cut through my skin ever deep.
"You..."
My voice was whispery, showing what state I am in.
Weak and Worthless.
His hand raised as he gestured for me to come closer.
"C-come here, fox."
*Oh*...
"How beautiful.."
I softly cooed before he, who held his tears back, took a step closer.
*How beautiful of you*.
"Don't make me hurt you."
Said he, before I chuckled in vain.
"Hurt me?"
He froze as I spoke with no emotions held in my dried eyes.
"Come here before I get angry o-okay?"
The smile on my face faded away the minute he said that.
Before any thought could run through my mind, my hand stabbed the glass piece through my stomach making the blood splurt out of my mouth.
"Jule, No!"
My feet stumbled back as I slowly lose my strength.
Eyes clutching tigh, I felt his arms around me wrapping me tightly like a warm blanket.
"No! Jule, Look at me! Arthor!"
A small chuckle left my lips when I heard him exclaim, looking around like a helpless puppy.
"**You can never hurt me**, **can you Daven**?"
**Daven**...
*Wait*..
**Daven**!?
—gasp!
My eyes are wide when I raised upon the unfamiliar bed I was placed upon.
Eyes wandering around, I slowly noticed how everything was coloured pink, indicating it's a hospital that I know.
Wait… is it..?
"wait- you woke up?"
My eyes met with the nurse who stood there at the door of my room with her eyes wide open.
"Oh my god, Dr. Arthor!"
I slowly looked away from the door while my hand subconsciously laid over my head upon feeling the sting against my ears increase.
Uh Something feel strange—
Annoyed by the fact that something is wrapped around my ears, I gently touched it only for my body to jolt up due to the sudden increase of the pain I felt.
"F-fxck."
Cussing under my breath, I stared at my wrist that had the needle pipes attached.
"Why did I even come here..??"
My head started to spin as I tried to remember what brought me here with bandages over my ears.
Within the silence that helped me clarify my doubts, there I heard the loud steps of someone nearing my room ever so fastly.
Within the seconds I spent hearing them, my head vibrated as I heard someone slam the door open wide with his hand.
Jolting up on the bed, I cussed under my breath when I tried to turn my head around.
"Uh, stop there!"
I whispered as gently as possible while I felt the nerves pulsing under the thin layer of the skin under my ears.
The silence that took place around me was soothing for my ears as I sat there with my hands on my ears.
Seems like he actually didn't come in like I told him to.
My lips parted as I heard his heavy breath that showed how fast he ran—he possibly might have taken stairs to get here, who knows.
I slowly raised my head before I bit my lip.
*Shit, was I too rude*?
"Y-you can come in."
I spoke before I heard a heavy sigh.
My fingers gently rubbed the space between my eyebrows.
**You can never hurt me**, **can you Daven**?"
My eyes opened in agony.
**What a fxcking weird dream**..
I grunted before I felt someone step closer.
Silence took place between this stranger and me.
His heavy breaths sounded familiar for me and my frown was replaced with a calm expression.
*Right, I was with Chris*.
I sighed heavily before raising my head, expecting him to walk to my front.
"What happened to my ears, Chris..?"
I cooed weakly as I rubbed my head.
Seconds passed by but I didn't hear a word back from him.
My eyebrows squinted before I turned my head only to meet with ….**Dr**. **Yin**!?
"Dr. Yin??"
I weakly questioned as I watched him gape at me with tears in eyes pooling up to flow down his cheeks any moment.
My lips parted with hesitance when his hand laid over my cheek.
Warm it was, comforting it was.
Shivering it was.
"What are you…"
His hand that trembled over my cheek made my gaze soften before he leaned down to face me.
"**Where the fxck have you been**?"
And his hands wrapped around me.
Tighter than the strong winds that surrounded my cold body with his warm one.
"Dr. Yin…"
I whispered while he laid his head over my shoulder, gently brushing my hair down.
Soothingly caressing my hair, he broke the hug as I eventually pushed him with my hand slightly pressed over his shoulder.
My eyes wandered over his teary cheeks as I tried to speak.
"H-how.."
But, his hands that took hold of my both cheeks made me pause before his forehead laid over mine.
"**Don't make me worry like this.**"
I softly frowned as he breathed out.
"What..?"
I said as I eyed his face that held such emotions I had neve witnessed in my whole 1 year of journey with him.
His eyes froze upon meeting mine before he eyed my face that only made an adrenaline rush through my spine.
"You still don't get it, do you?"
He breathed out which only made my eyes search for his, not understanding a thing that was coming from his mouth.
*What do I don't get*?
"Dr. Yin.."
"I like… no no."
He took a deep breath before he looked up into my eyes without holding any hesitation before my hand clutched the hospital gown I was wearing.
"**I love you**."
**What**!?
