Chapter 79

The world seemed a dangerous void, when I didn't feel his arms around me.

His embrace was my safest heaven. The fate didn't even listen to my plea.

Louis drove to her home when she remained silent as if the man besides her doesn't even exist while he was driving the only blue car which remained as Marquis's only property.

She went back to her previous mute innocent mode once again when her admiration wasn't being around, when she held Marquis's phone so tightly between her palms as it was being the only thing that she had to herself other than those memories that she made in all these months when it has been already seven months that they both were being together. Right now, Yenail was being like the first day again. Like the day when she stepped out in this world. Just like everything will going to bloom once again but now without the scent of her favourite thing which was being nothing else but Marquis's presence. When her comfort zone disappeared all of a sudden as her final level of being close to her only love, diminished.

Louis was being the timid tad when currently, he was responsible to break her shell as he was assigned to do such job and her muteness was being a clear sign that she badly missed him. She doesn't even talked right after he left nor that she even made any unobvious move as more, right after he left? It felt like someone just cut off the main root, the main stem which was holding her and Marquis together as currently, her face held no emotions when she just stared everything around her like a girl who totally just born yesterday. Her charm left her. Permanently? Temporarily? She doesn't knew.

Louis silently strolled the blue car upon the road as now that they reached her house after some good hours when he asserted while putting the car in neutral mode and waited for her to make the move. “Go get your belongings and then, we will leave.”

Quietly that she put the phone over the dashboard in front of her and nodded to him as a response when Louis gave her the key to the main door. It really hurt Louis like hell to see her condition at the moment when he saw how she was being not well all of a sudden. Her body turned when she stepped out of the car and ankle towards the main door as with a dreadfully pounding heart towards the house which didn't remain as a normal one but more like a lively dreadful horrible nightmare to her, she entered the house along with her heartbeats rising to extending limits as with a heavy feeling that she took few steps further ahead. The house which now contained few new things equipped in it, which caught her eyes unknowingly yet rarely when she stared towards the eye catching suitcases which were lying in the lounge area besides the couch as the house with haunted vibes owned a different dilly scent which was somehow being calm and didn't hint any kind of fear as Yenail strolled around some more to find her own belongings, some personal stuff and her clothes as for those things, she needed to catch up her own room. She ignored those extra suitcases which lied upon the floor near the couch when she persuaded to reach her room which was upstairs as the lonely house surely raised her goosebumps when with a heavy heart that Yenail was taking every step as her house, her own precious home sweet home, was currently looking like a horror movie. With a rapidly beating heart that she twisted the knob of her room and entered inside when the next moment, her eyes roamed the whole room while following a strong feeling of affection when her heart started cascading those memories that she once had with her own lively yet lovely mother. Her eyes got filled with every scene that was forming right in front of her eyes as blurry images when she saw her mother who was looking so young and happy while holding a two year old toddler in her embrace, along with cackles also hallucinating her mind. Moment by moment, her memories changed like a slide when her hand slid upon the wooden surface of her dressing table and obviously, tears decorated her eyes so instantly while she was being cherished by the lovely memories of her childhood. Her heart clenched right at the moment when she thought about Louis as she would be leaving her house, when with tears settling over the edges of her eyes that she made a turn.

Yenail opened her closet and beneath the clothes compartment, she found a maroon suitcase when she forcefully pulled it out and her hands lifted it up as she put it over the bed, later that her hands worked faster when trailing like a snail will simply result in getting killed by the ghosts when her fear of disturbing loneliness was eating her out alive. While breathing heavily, she shoved few shirts along with comfy clothes into the suitcase yet also of course the most important stuff for those days, that she doesn't forgot when without even moving her eyeballs anywhere else that she hurriedly zipped up the suitcase and lifted it up as later she got ready to leave her room. A paranormal activity has been attained by the void where there aren't any kind of ghosts but still, the lonely fearful vibe was killing the heart and just like that, that Yenail felt as if someone was being with her or behind her or aside her when her breaths were reaching to extreme limits and the action caused her to raise those scary goosebumps as the fear scattered inside her almost everywhere, while she was staring down with a (not that much heavy but heavy) suitcase. The feeling was being so scary to handle but she tried to cope up with it.

“Relax. Relax. I'm not alone. He's being with me.” Yenail exerted between her shaky breaths when her hand was being near her chest along with her eyes closed while she repeated word after word. “He's with me.” She tried comforting yet calming herself down while thinking about the only person. “Marquis's with me.” Her lips quivered while saying his name when she desperately missed him even more while fighting with the terrifying fear that she was facing at the moment.

“I'm with you, sweetheart. Don't be afraid.”

His encouraging honey dew vocals hallucinated her mind, making her lips form a delightful happy curve as a smile creped on her face so immediately when her eyes opened and she doesn't really felt that scared. A warm wind scratched the back of her left hand and she felt a warm sensation surrounding her soft hand.

“I will never leave my angel. I'm right there beside you.”

His voice kept on playing so well with her empty mind currently, when her eyes got teary along with her heart thumping so madly while his voice kept on hallucinating greatly inside her mind.

“Remember. I'm there. Right there. Protecting you!”

Yenail's heart was beating faster when she was really willing to see him but he was gone already. Not dead, but not even being with her too as she was feeling dead. She wiped her tears quickly when her mind diverted towards the man who has been waiting for her outside from past fifteen minutes as she continued with her steps going down and just then, her peripheral vision captured a rare sight of few other black suitcases that made her turn when after placing down her own suitcase, she started walking towards the direction of the unknown thing when her hand skimmed through the hard material of the black suitcase which lied near the couch, also containing a tiny name tag over it. A tag which got her perplexed and bewildered as the name that the tag contained was being an even more confusing thing for her.

“Se—Seth.” Her tongue twirled when her heart beat faster causing her to pant and her mind begun to freeze as it ran around different thoughts which were penetrating her mind, when while taking few steps backward so fast that she fell upon the floor after reaching her own suitcase.

The man's fingers tapped the steering wheel when Louis waited for the girl who was gone from past couple of minutes and still hasn't come back whereas in the meantime, Louis's phone helped him in cutting some time when he got a call over it and picked up right after staring the screen. “Yes.”

“You booger! Where are you?! It's almost twelve. You knew that I was coming and I already told Max to send you and Danial the texts but still! YOU AREN'T AROUND!!” His elder sister talked or more like yelled over the phone while angrily scolding his brother who already received the news about his sister's arrival but the poor soul got stuck in a situation already which soon that he was thinking to disclose.

“Uh. I'm sorry.” Louis's deep voice broke the silence of the car when his hand rubbed his neck as his tone hinted the apology in it but still she doesn't let go of him like that. “I was being on duty and still am.”

“Come home! Now! Or—”

“Yes! Yes! I'm just coming.” He replied in a mild yet calm tone. Suddenly, Louis's ears got distracted by a high pitched scream that came from the interior of the house which made his eyes go wide all of a sudden when he remembered that Yenail was still being in there and he panicked right away. “I'll talk to you later!” He furiously hung up the call while ignoring his sister who kept on summoning his name constantly when Louis turned off the engine of the car and hurriedly stepped out, later that he sprinted inside the house after pulling out a gun from his back when his senses alerted already, right after entering the house, he witnessed the girl who was hugging her legs so tightly while sitting near a maroon suitcase as it hinted him that it was being her luggage when he approached the afraid soul who was looking dreadfully terrified. “Yenail! A-Are you okay??” Louis's worried vocals jolted her up and the next moment she clutched so tightly onto his brown long coat after he knelt down, her hands were shaking so badly while her breaths were uneven. “Yenail, what happened? What's wrong?” Even Louis's soft voice wasn't helping her at all when she literally looked like as if she saw a ghost or something or more than that.

“He's there! He's standing right there!” Her trembling finger pointed towards the black suitcase and she cried when her mind was playing tricks.

“Who?” His eyes moved towards the direction when so politely that he replied to her. “There's no one.”

“Seth!” Her innocent eyes were being so captivating as he turned his face away.

“There's no one. Come on, it's being so late.” Louis lifted her shaking body when in other hand, he held her suitcase when he spoke further ahead. “You haven't slept properly from past many hours. You need a good sleep.”

“Where are we going anyway, Louis?” Her soft sobbing voice caught him off guard when it was being disturbing yet calm at the same time.

“My house. You'll be staying there until his comeback.” He replied to her obvious question which was also tingling his own mind with an upcoming danger already, when the poor boy was really suffering for no reason at all.

While driving, his eyes were popping out of his eye sockets when he was trying his best not to fall asleep while yawning continuously from past twenty minutes which caused the water to gather near his eyes whereas on the other side, she slept silently while resting her head over the window when she held Marquis's phone so tightly while being afraid to miss it somewhere as it was being the only thing that she had to herself which will be making her heart beat while looking towards his pictures as along with that heated night in the cell, after she was asleep, Marquis removed the password and allowed her to use his phone when he knew that she won't be doing anything strange or odd. After good two hours that Louis reached his own house and thought about fighting with the situation that he has gotten himself into, as after the car stopped right in front of a huge house which almost resembled to a mansion but wasn't being one, he slowly rested his head over the steering wheel while being dangerously worried to face his elders who'll simply be thinking that he has this girl ran away with him in the midnight. He was terrified.

Being honest and good towards everyone is kind of hard as you face tragedies. But sometimes, these reasons give birth to many other reasons.

Louis was being terribly hesitant to face his elders. Surely, he does no wrong but the wrong collaboration of the timings caught him.

“Help me, Seth.” His words came out as a mumble when they hit the steering wheel. “Okay. What could be bad than this? I wanted to help my friend and now he's not around. Seth! You--” With mixed feelings that he gathered all the strength to face his elders and already made up his mind, dejectedly, for the trash that they will surely be saying about him along with the beautiful young girl whom that he had in the middle of the night along with her belongings. A perfect situation to ruin his yearly yet lively reputation as after a heavy sigh, his hand trembled a little while shaking her arm at waking her up when Louis's deep voice rung her ears. “Ye-Yenail?”

He was dreadfully afraid to face the whole scene when Louis was awfully bad with lying. He never lied earlier nor did he ever experience such situations as right now, he was being dead scared.

“Are we there?” Her angelic voice made him turn his thoughtful mind towards it.

“Yes.” He nodded showing her his surprisingly wide eyes when she got confused right away after seeing him.

“Louis, are you okay?” She curiously questioned that terrifying look over his face, and to her question, Louis simply bit his lower lip slightly when after few moments, her sad tone caught his attention. “You shouldn't be worrying about me. I would probably be fine in any kind of orphanage or something.”

“Are you mad? He has told me to protect you well. He'll rip me off if he found out that you weren't being with me.” Louis was suddenly worried when he thought about Marquis. Though Marquis decided to change but his hands still got hold of the powerful connections and contacts.

“But your siblings? They will trash you for no reason and I don't want that, Louis.” Her eyes pleaded as they held an apology for him. “A young girl with her suitcase. An obvious matter to discuss.”

“Let's just get inside first, before someone spot us.” Louis's deep heavy vocals held his words and he smiled while glancing her. “You're a strong one.”

“And you?” She asked the next minute.

“I guess, while being with you guys? I will be too.” He smiled wider in order to calm her down when later that he hurriedly left the car along with her doing the same move. Louis went back towards the car and opened the trunk of the vehicle when he took out her suitcase and she held it while hearing him talking after few minutes. “I'll park his car in the garage as it will be remaining there until he'll be coming back.” He told and earned a nod from her.

His figure sat inside the car once again when he drove to few distance apart his house as on their right that the house contained a garage attached with it but it was already filled, with a huff that Louis pulled the car near the other one which that he recognized soon when he parked the blue Skyline near a familiar Porsche. While holding her suitcase, Yenail saw him approaching her soon when she too gathered the strength to face everything further ahead. Louis went near her as both of their disturbing gazes were matching with each other's worried hearts when later, he took the initiative steps towards the door as together that they slowly walked towards the front main door. It was two a.m. when with a heavy gulp that Louis knocked the door slightly and the door opened revealing a young lady whose face held a shocked look after witnessing his younger brother being with an unknown young girl and what more fueled her anger? When her eyes caught the girl with a fucking suitcase.

“From where that you are coming?” A feminine stern voice rung their ears when the lady's chest heaved with anger and she doesn't even told Louis to come inside.

“Leena. I'll explain everything. Just let me co--” Louis tried even harder at compiling up everything but her elder sister went mad as the anger was surely being on point.

“Who the hell are you!!!? And what made you have your dirty hands on my little brother?!” The girl named Leena who was being Louis's elder sister, yelled upon Yenail which made her grip onto her suitcase even tighter after being flinched out of fear when Leena's voice was loud enough to alarm the neighbors as later that Louis slightly started pushing her inside the house, whereas at the same time he signaled Yenail to get inside as well when they both were being, what you describe well as, double fucked. Leena protested like hell when her loud, vicious yet animal like voice echoed the whole house, whereas Yenail just stood so quietly at the entrance gate.

“Leena, It's clearly not what you're thinking!” Louis tried confronting the anger that his elder sister was holding at the moment as her yelling and screaming disturbed another of his elder sibling.

“What's going on he—Louis?!” Another male voice joined the scene when Louis's sight darted towards a tall male in tuxedo and now that his chest heaved with double fear, the same response was being of the girl who stood near the main door as she doesn't even dared to make any move further ahead.

Yenail was absolutely right about all the situation and she wanted to tackle his siblings but she knew nothing at all too, when she decided to remain silent as things will get more worse if she does uttered a word when she was also being uncomfortable yet scared.

“Where were you!!?” Another tall man with much fairer skin tone than Louis, approached the two other people. His built was masculine and fine like a rock as his height was alluring along with his face consisting those soft crease like lines to be carved on a shining diamond, as his manly features depicted total affection, hotness and softness at the same time along with a vast sight of beauty which had a flow of his blonde hair waving attractively over his forehead. The messed up tuxedo which was hiding his curves so gracefully, hinted Louis that his elder brother hasn't even changed and has been worried from the time since he arrived from his own work. Louis was being so much spaced out to answer their questions when he gulped hard as his heart was almost at his throat while suffocating his strength out. His elder brother raised an eyebrow after spotting another girl which wasn't being familiar at all. “Who are you?” 

“That must be his wife. Who else?” A spiced up statement strolled down Leena's tongue and it made Louis knit his brows.

“Leena, it's not like that!” Louis raised his voice a little at which, his elder sister just scoffed.

“You just did court marriage with this whore right here, without even telling us and what else can yo—”

“Leena! Enough!” Another masculine stern voice cut her off immediately when his elder brother eyed Leena. “Louis, what is this all?” His vocals remained hard enough to send a shiver down Louis's spine yet also to the girl whom that he brought with himself.

“Danial, she needs a roof to stay.” Louis's breathy voice came out from his throat when at the same time he was being dead scared to face the next taunts from his sister.

Danial, Louis's elder brother who eyed the girl who stood at the corner of the door while being almost fragile along with her head low when she got hold onto her suitcase, being terrified already.

“You sure that she isn't any kind of harm?” Danial crossed his arms around his broad chest when he questioned. “By the way, who is she?”

The next answer almost made their breaths stuck in their throats when Louis delivered his words. “She's Marquis's girlfriend.”
