Chapter 91: My Daughter

Helenaaaa!" shouted Sebastian, tearing his throat.

Katlyn watched from the ground with a horrified expression as Helena and Alan fell from the

balcony, she wanted to get up, but the pain overcame her.

Sebastian ran with all his might to the balcony, tears clouding his black eyes from the shock

of surely having lost his beloved, because no one survives a 27th floor.

He leaned out, his body trembling with horror at the tragedy, expecting to meet the

silhouettes under the heavy storm of the bodies against the ground below in the distance.

But when his face peered over the ledge, he found only the limp body of his younger brother

surrounded by a large pool of blood, because Helena had grabbed the railing.

-Sebastian," she exclaimed as she tried not to let go of the rain-soaked pipe that separated

her from falling into the void and dying on the spot.

The young CEO did not hesitate for a second to grab her by the wrists, even though the pain

in her shoulder made him scream from the pain, clinging tightly to her skin and pulling her

up, before the surprised look of the blonde, who was crying inconsolably a few meters away.

-She's alive!" she cried, unable to believe it was possible.

Sebastian and Helena fell onto the balcony, completely wet from the rain, while they

breathed heavily and felt the safe ground beneath them, still with vertigo running through

their bodies.

Slowly they crawled off the balcony, fearful of falling again.

When they reached the safe ground, they finally held each other tightly.

Sebastian..." exclaimed Helena hiding her face in the wet chest of her beloved, unable to

believe that she was actually touching the body of the one she thought she would never see

again.

-My love..." exclaimed the CEO emotionally, who touched the redhead's body, as if he

needed to confirm that she was really there and not a product of his imagination traumatized

by his beloved's fall into the void, "Why did you do that," he cried with his eyes full of tears

when he took her by the shoulders, "I thought I had lost you forever.

Helena was crying too, and between tears she smiled as she wiped the tears from the face

of the love of her life with her hands.

-I'm sorry... he had no choice- she exclaimed looking at the balcony- I'm sorry I killed....

-No...- denied the CEO sharply- you did the right thing- he said with bitterness of knowing

that his brother was dead, but also knowing that he himself had marked his end- Don't blame

yourself.

-Still...- Helena hugged Sebastian, who cried disconsolately on her chest, while the redhead

caressed him.

Suddenly she saw that the rainwater that had entered the office was stained with the red of

the elder Aller's blood. Then Helena looked at Katlyn, remembering that she was also

wounded.

- We must go to the hospital urgently," she ordered, helping the CEO to get up, "Can you

hold yourself up," she asked worriedly.

Sebastian nodded his head.

-Help Katlyn," he said looking at his former wife.

Katlyn was still crying on the floor and did not hesitate to hug Helena as he helped her up.

-I'm so sorry Helena, I'm sorry for everything," she sobbed as she was helped by Helena to

walk out of the office, "I'm sorry, I've been a monster," she said.

-Katlyn..." exclaimed the redhead, stopping on the way, "I've already forgiven you, I've

moved on with my life, and I hope you will too, ok? - She exclaimed, pushing away all rancor

towards the blonde.

Helena looked with her big light blue eyes full of maturity to Katlyn's green eyes, sad and full

of guilt, who nodded her head.

-It's okay," she said seriously, realizing that her life now belonged only to her. That Alan

could no longer choose what he should say or do, it's over," she whispered still in shock, "It's

over, Alan is gone.

Yes Katlyn, it's over," replied the redhead, smiling just as excited, realizing she too that it

was all over. - Now we are going to cure them both.

Sebastian followed behind them, seeing happily that finally both women had been able to

leave their enmity behind, getting rid of the black cloud that had been his younger brother,

who consumed everything he touched with his evil.

Before leaving the office, he glanced one last time out onto the rainy balcony.

The jet-haired boy couldn't stop his mind from traveling back many years, when he was just

a little boy and his mother was still with them.

The few happy memories with his brother washed over him like a bucket of melancholy

memories.

The nights when they made a fort out of sheets and slept in there, the childish pranks they

played on their father in his office, the rainy nights when Alan would ask to sleep next to him

and Sebastian would protect him from the thunder, and of course, the stories their beautiful

young mother would tell them before bedtime.

A single, last tear fell down his face.

-Farewell, brother.

Helena was in the waiting room of the clinic, impatiently awaiting some news from Sebastian

and Katlyn.

The ambulances had arrived at the scene, taking the three victims to be treated, while

another ambulance covered Alan's body and took it to the morgue.

Helena had spoken to the police, telling them a summary of everything that had happened in

tears.

Alan's reign was over, and the media didn't stop for a second to fill their airtime with the

tragic end of the Aller family, how the youngest of the businessmen had mocked everyone to

their faces, and how Sebastian, the man who had risen from the dead, finally regained all his

power, taken away by his own brother.

Or at least he would do that when he was discharged.

Helena could feel calmer when the doctor informed her that Sebastian and Katlyn were out

of danger, as well as the blonde's baby, who was safe and sound, being a great fighter,

surviving everything that had happened.

After the redhead was told that the visits could be for when they were in intermediate

therapy, Helena went home.

David was probably worried after so many hours of absence.

-Helena!" his friend exclaimed, hugging her tightly as soon as she entered the house.

He looked her up and down, inspecting her to make sure she was whole and uninjured.

-You almost scared me to death, I was already imagining myself as a father of two children

from one day to the next.

Helena laughed in amusement.

-Relax David, everything turned out fine.

-I saw the news... Alan....

-Yes, he's not going to bother anymore.

-It's over, isn't it?

-Finally Esperanza will be able to live a quiet life without fear," she said excitedly, feeling

David wrapping her in his arms.

-You are an incredible mother, Esperanza has been given the best one of all. She can rest

assured that she will always have her mommy?

-Yes, and Sebastian....

-Helena...

The redhead let go of the embrace.

-I still love him David, he wasn't the one who....

-I know, they said it all on the news... But, are you sure you want to be with him?

-I can't live without him.

David saw the sincerity in his friend's light blue eyes and finally sighed.

-If you love him, then don't let him go.

Helena looked at him in surprise, and couldn't help but cry with happiness, hugging her

friend again.

-You are the best friend a girl could ask for.

-I know.

Sebastian felt the strong white light of the intermediate therapy room pierce his eyelids with

discomfort, slowly he opened his eyes, until he could focus on the ceiling of the room.

He felt his mouth dry and the discomfort in his body from the anesthesia slowly leaving his

body.

-Hello my love...

Helena's soft, velvety voice finally brought him to himself.

He wasn't dead, he was still alive and very much looking forward to life, now that he was with

his beloved again.

-Hello... -He could barely say as his eyes focused on Helena's beautiful smiling face.

-How are you feeling? The doctor told me that you are past the critical stage and now you

just need to recover little by little.

-Not too bad," he said feeling the slight pain in his shoulder, which was nothing compared to

the pain he had felt before he was unconscious.

Slowly Sebastian sat up in bed, thanks to Helena's help.

Slowly the CEO's hand rested on hers, and he intertwined his fingers with those of his

beloved.

-Helena I... I'm sorry for everything.

Helea smiled and shook her head.

-You don't have to be... I'm sorry for believing that you....

Sebastian's eyes filled with tears, remembering the truth about what had happened to

Helena.

-How sorry Helena- he said painfully- If I had known that Alan te....

Helena squeezed his hand with Sebastian's and hugged him carefully so as not to hurt him.

-Let's not talk about him anymore, ok? Now that it's over, now we are free and we can... well

if you want to..." she said with insecurity.

-I want to be with you Helena, that's what I should have done a long time ago, from the first

moment I knew I loved you, forget about the family inheritance and leave everything behind

to be with you, I love you Helena, sorry for taking so long....

-And I love you my love. I want you to meet someone.

Sebastian watched as Helena got up from her chair and approached a baby carriage he had

not seen until that moment.

He felt his heart pounding against his chest as Helena pulled out a small pink bundle and

carried it in her arms and sat back down next to him.

-Sebastian, this is Esperanza, Esperanza, this is Sebastian.

Sebastian, with much fear and excitement, peeked towards the little round, whitish face with

hair as black as the night she slept wrapped in the blanket.

"So it's a girl" He thought in relief.

-I'm sorry to lie to you that it was a boy- said the redhead uncomfortably, but Sebastian didn't

listen to anything, he was just hypnotized watching that little being that had come out of his

beloved and that was just as beautiful as her, and he confirmed it when the little one opened

big her round eyes that were the same light blue color as those of her mother.

It was the same look, which had struck him the first time he saw her. She looked just like her

and that was a relief to Sebastian, seeing nothing but his brother's black hair.

-She's beautiful... -he exclaimed still in his reverie- May I? - he asked uncertainly.

-Of course," answered Helena, carefully pulling Esperanza closer to Sebastian's chest. He

took her with great fear, as if he was afraid of hurting her.

-Hello Esperanza," he said in a fatherly voice that Helena had never heard before. She

looked silently at the beautiful postcard in front of her, no doubt he was the father she

wanted for her daughter, but she could not force him to be. - I'm daddy...

Helena opened her eyes wide and filled with tears.

-Really?" she exclaimed, incredulous at what her ears had heard.

-If you let me... I want to be Esperanza's father.

-Of course I do," she exclaimed, sobbing with happiness, "You are the father I want for my

little girl.

Sebastian smiled broadly and looked the baby in the eyes again.

-My daughter... my little girl," he whispered, rocking her in his arms. - By the way... Can you

check my pants pocket?

-From your pants?" she asked, curious.

-Yes, look for something there," he said nervously, as he watched Helena rummage through

his pocket until she picked up a small velvet box.

Sebastian...

-I bought it a long time ago, but I never dared to propose it to you, it seemed that it was

never the best moment," he said sadly.

Helena opened the box with trembling hands, finding two golden rings sparkling with small

diamond stones.

-It's... it's...

-Do you like it?

-It's perfect," she said in shock, "Is it really?

-Yes... Helena... -Yes?

-Yes?" she asked anxious for the question to come.

-Will you marry me?

-Of course I want to!!!" she shouted jumping out of the chair, making the girl cry, "Oh, I'm

sorry little girl," she said carefully, laughing nervously, "Did you hear Esperanza? I'm going to

marry your daddy and we're going to be a family at last.

Sebastian looked at Helena with happiness, he couldn't believe that finally life was smiling to

both of them.

-Come on, give me a kiss, to know if this is true or just a beautiful dream.

Helena did not hesitate to seal her lips with Sebastian's in a deep and long awaited kiss.

Finally, their souls were united in an invisible thread of love, which from now on would never

be broken.
