Chapter 33

Xoryn stood there shocked by what the maid had just told them. She hadn't really expected that because they were the enemy and sitting with the enemy at the same table wasn't very appropriate . She didn't understand why Alexanvian would want that .

" What do you mean ?" She asked again. The maid told her the same thing and she thought for a while why he would want to see them sitting with him while dining together from the same table. It sounded a little odd for a vampire and werewolf to do that especially with the fact that they were still enemies and from the looks of it they seemed more like captives rather than guests but not treated like captives or prisoners.

" I'll show you to the dining table, '' the maid said. Xoryn nodded and both she and Nyra followed her to the dining table. She hadn't really been out of her room before because she couldn't just be wandering up and down in someone else's home but since they were wanted they might as well go there.

She was stunned to see the huge dining table and chairs were well arranged with a long table , people were already there including Xylon which surprised her but she just acted normal and sat down alongside with Nyra. All attention was on them ,she felt a little awkward because everyone was looking at them with a dead glare and she couldn't really Blame them,they were enemies after all

" Where's the food?" Nyra asked. Xoryn felt so embarrassed at that moment and all she wanted to do was to slap her sister hard in the face. She couldn't believe that she would go around talking like that in front of the enemies,haven't she no Shame?, But then again she was Nyra the carefree girl.

" We have to wait for Alexanvian first, '' a woman who looked deadly and very sophisticated said. She had a long fitted black gown,her hair was all curled up and her face just had a little makeup but the red lipstick was so much that she looked like villainess but very sexy and young.

"Oh…okay" Nyra said. Xoryn kicked her leg under the table. Nyra looked at her with a question look on her face but Xoryn just completely ignored her and thought she deserved it even more than that maybe.

Few minutes later, Alexanvian arrived . He was dressed up in an Armani suit, his black jet hair styles perfectly . He looked so ravishing that once Xoryn looked up at him she could have sworn she felt some kind of feelings in her tummy. She didn't know why she felt that way because she has never felt that way for any man. Even her ex didn't make her tummy feel things she didn't know existed.

" Sorry I'm late" he said and sat on the chair which was for the king's and to make it all worse it was close to her chair .

" Good morning your majesty" they all stood up from their seats to greet each other. Xoryn didn't know what was going on but just followed on,she didn't like it but she just had to do it or else she wouldn't get what she wanted.

" You may take your seat " he told them in his deep thick voice that sent shivers down her spine. She wondered what was causing those feelings and why she was feeling that way,she wasn't supposed to feel it. It should be hatred but yet she couldn't feel hatred for him and she didn't know why she couldn't but just guessed that it must be because he saved her life or else she would be six feets under the ground and that is if her pack finds her.

They all sat down and the maids served them their food. She couldn't help but feel as if Alexanvian was watching her the entire time and it made her feel very awkward. She didn't know why but it made her stomach churn in excitement and her cheeks were burning up because she was blushing. She tried hiding it but it was hard and to make it all worse she was surrounded by people.

" How're you Xoryn?' he asked her. She looked up at him with a question look on her face trying to confirm if he was talking to her and that was so dumb especially with the fact that he had mentioned her name but she wasn't expecting that.

" Fine your majesty" she said. She took a bite out of her meal and she could've swore that she moaned. The taste was heavenly and she even started comparing it to the food in Wolfenden,it was delicious but not as much as the one she was eating.

" I see you're enjoying your food," he told her. She looked at him and just smiled at him. She didn't really know how to respond to him and all eyes were on her . They were probably about to eat her up, especially the young ladies who were seated and she couldn't blame them because Alexanvian was a hottie that any girl wouldn't think twice before falling for him.

" Yes ,it's very delicious, your majesty,compliments to the chef, " she told him. She didn't even know why his words were affecting her so much and her cheeks were super red to the extent that she wanted the ground to swallow her up.

" Are you blushing ?" A young lady asked. Xoryn's face was flushed with embarrassment and there was no disguising it but she had to try.

" No, of course not, '' she said. She immediately covered her cheeks with her hands. Everyone laughed at her and she was filled with embarrassment and just wanted to disappear right there and then.

" Didn't know that a werewolf also blushes, " the same lady said. Xoryn was getting annoyed with her and if not that she didn't want to trespass to avoid any trouble she would have punched the girl right in the face but she just kept her cool.

" Who doesn't blush?We're not machines, are we?" She said with a polite smile. That seemed to shut the girl up. She looked up at Alexanvian to see a smirk on his face .
