Chapter 31: Until you give me another chance

I finally arrive at my stop and unfortunately the shop is closed.

Neem probable has all these ingredients in her house.

 I rub my temples, trying to think of a way to keep myself occupied so my wolf doesn’t force us to break into her place.

Whats the difference between now and what we did a few hours ago

How about she was awake and her balcony was open, so she saw us coming.

Im sure shes there now.

I climb up again and I almost fall out the tree when I see her scowling at me. I catch myself and climb back up the two branches.

We stare at eachother for a few moments before she huffs out a breath and flicks her hand, I start to float to her balcony and she opens the door and enters without saying a word.

Even better.

I follow her in and lock the door behind me. I quickly sniff to see where I can quickly grab what I need before she gets mad at me and teleports me back to my room.

“ Are you hungry” I turn to her and smile slowly.  She wants to feed us, we still have a chance “ im always hungry around you kitten” “Gross:” she mumbles and walks back into the kitche, I mve close to a cubbard with slotted doors, and I find what im looking for, Hurry I roll my eyes and whisper out the incsntation, theres a loud popping sound and orange smoke and im opening the door to fan out her living space before she knows what ive done.  I turn to see if she had come to investigate but instead I hear her moving around the kitches, grabbing pans, opening and closing cabinets. All clear, now we can mate her.  I block out sodo and make my way to the kitchen. “ Need any help?” she shoots me a glare and continues laying bacon down on a pan. The meat begins to sizzle and I hear a door open. “ Goddes Neem youre worse than Libbah, and that’s saying much, do you every sleep? Hey Sier, can you pass me a mug, did you at least make my that hot chocolate I love?” I see Chammomile pout in Neems direction and without acknowledging either of us, a carafe floats over to Staggy along with a few other ingredients and I watch in awe as she makes hot chocolate without even paying any attention to what is happening. “ badass isn’t she” Staggy whispers as she happily sips her coco. We should wrap our arms around her, lick our mark, nip her skin, she wants it. She shoots me a glare as if she heard Sodo. I don’t thin she wants us to touch her right now.  She begins making the batter for pancakes and i notice there is a lot happening other than what shes doing

.Chammolime smirks as she sips on her third hot chocolate when se notices ive caught on the all else that hellening. While neem is making pancakes, the bacon is flipping itsel, the dishes are beaing washed, all the ingredients are putting themselves aways and the floor and counters are being cleaned. “ and its not even a spell, at first I thought she had a charm or something, ive heard of witches doing that, neem never had one installed because her powers were always unstable, shes gained more confidence in her powers.”  We helped her grow confident. We should go to her, she feels the fraying of our bond, weve been apart too long Sosier, please. when I hear my wolf spirit plead with me I take the chance, when I get close to her everything stops moving, even the fire . I wrap my arms around her waist slowly, gently tugging her against my chest and I sniff the top of her head. When she doesn’t immediately push me away, I trail my nose from her ear to her shoulder and on my way back a=I gently clasp my mouth over my mark, apply a little pressure and growling in pleasure when she relaxes against me. my teeth sharpen and elongate nicking her skin, I pull back and I feel a brush of fur against my soul making me shiver in lust. When she turn saorund to fac eme im staring not grey eyes like ive never seen before, around her pulil the color Is a with sandy colir, fading into taupe then dark grey. “ Sosier, Sodo, Meet Ami. Neem’s wolf spirit.” Mate “Mate.”  “ You are lucky I don’t reject you here and now after your actions” “ We have no excuse, we will give you what every you want. “ “ I don’t want anything from you. “ “ You don’t have to choose it now, just ask and it is yours.” She blinks and in staring back into Neems chocolate eyes. “ Hey kitten” “don’t hey kitten me.” “ Ive missed you” “Didn’t look like it” “ that wasn’t us, I know its hard to explain, a wiere’s heat isn’t something that can be resisted, especially if the female is willing. If it helps, I fought her off for a long time, I went hours resisting her before I lost all sense of self.” “ So what did it?” “What?” “What made you snap? What made you unable to resist.” She asks in a whisper, I cant tell if shes really trying to understand or if shes setting me up to lose. “ Tell me Sosier, what was it that made it so you could no longer fight against her heat.” “I don’t want to tell you” I whisper back. You will be angry, im afraid you wont understand their motives.” “Your family did this?” “ please understand, they love me very much, and like us all, they were told a false story about a witch loving a wiere. So when they heard I kept hanging around a witch.. they thought they were breaking a spell.” Her body stiffens and her face goes pale. “Do they know my name?” “ not that im aware of why?” “ Because, like I leep telling you, acusation like that are going to get me cuffed. I cant be cuffed Sosier, it will destroy me.” I got to her and wrap her in my arsm, tying to calm her ragged breathing. “ Shhh, its ok, I spoke to them, I asked them to give you a chance, that youll be attenting the Fiir feast. Youll see, itll be ok, I wont let anyone cuff you, I promise.” When she calms downs I see breakfast resume. I hug her tighter to me.  we wont let anyone take her from us. we need that witches sight spell.  This time I agree with Sodo, we need to make sure no one can put a spell on us, I wont have our lives be a repeat of her ancestor. “ Ill never let you go Neem, youre mine forever.”
