Do I look greedy?

"Huh?!" I looked at the unstable man in shock, my mind went blank at his words and all I could say at this moment was "How dumb!"

I gritted my teeth and turned to look at the others but I saw them hiding their laughter which annoyed me. I cussed under my breath and then calmed down before looking up at Alina's Father who was being held by his wife.

"She is my mate! And we are bonded together, the only reason I haven't made her my Luna is that she had been waiting to bring you out of that place, some marking her is only right because she is mine!" I said with command and my eyes flashed with Possessiveness.

They were stunned for a while and the others who were laughing were now quiet as they knew I had become serious.

I looked at Alina's Father determinedly, I have never been the one to back out and even if I respect him as her father, I will not take it when it comes to my relationship with Alina. She is mine!

I felt something surge inside me but I tried to keep it in control as I knew the old man was only being protective of his only child, I looked down and forced my anger down and that was when I heard the gentle voice of Alina's mother.

"Stop it, Roy! They are mates and it is proper! Also, it's not like you didn't do the same then, why act like you are innocent?" She said the last word in a mutter and I couldn't help the chuckle that escaped my mouth.

I looked at the old man whose pale face now had a blush as he glared at me as if asking what I was chuckling for. I raised an eyebrow, "This man had be one bold. He was all pale when he saw me at first but now he seems to want to hit me-Hmph!"

Alina's mother turned to look at me then smiled, "It's good you love her. But…Can I ask to see her?" She asked pleadingly.

I stiffened at the question. I didn't want them to know what was going on in the pack and worse, Alina was still unconscious which I know will make them break down so until Alina awakened, then I couldn't let them meet her.

"You can't meet her for now," I said, meeting her eyes calmly.

"Why can't we?! Are you holding her hostage?!"

My head snapped to the weak form of Roy, Alina's Father. My aura spread out as my eyes locked on him with coldness. I looked at him like I was looking at nothing, and that seemed to scare him as he flinched a bit and then muttered something I didn't bother trying to hear.

"Roy! What's wrong with you?! They are mates!" Alina's Mother said as she glared at Roy with anger and blame.

Roy, who seems to love his wife, bowed his head, "Why are you supporting him, Kira? He won't let us see our daughter, I don't even know if she is safe." He said in a choked voice.

Kira, Alina's mother wiped her tears, "At least hear what he has to say, besides, Alpha Kennedy saved us, remember?" She asked and seeing her mats calm down, she breathed a sigh of relief and then turned to look at me.

I had watched them converse with a look of indifference. My face was so calm as I leaned back on my chair, my aura was spread out but I made sure not to harm them.

Kira, Alina's mother looked at me with a smile, "If I may ask, Alpha Kennedy, Why can't we meet Alina? And when can we meet her?" She asked calmly.

I sat up, giving her the respect I think she deserves, I looked at her seriously, "Now is not a suitable time, Madam Kira, she is not in a comfortable position right now and any mistake can cause her problems, I hope you understand. You will meet her in a few days." I explained seriously to her without caring about the eyes watching me like a hawk.

Mother Kira nodded and then bowed, though I stood up and walked towards her to hold her up. She looked at me with eyes filled with a gentleness I had never received. It was different from Alina's gentleness which was filled with trust and love from a lover and soulmate. Madam Kira's Gentle smile was filled with Mother's love and I couldn't help but melt.

"I will bring her to see you very soon, Mother." I said calmly and respectfully, seeing her nodding joyfully with the word "Good! Good!"

I sighed tiredly then watched them go back to their little house which was set for them.

I licked my lips then turned to look at the people who huddled together whispering, I frowned irritatedly, "Killy!" I called out and in no time he was right in front of me.

"The pack was attacked and the truth is, Richard is doing this for a purpose," I said, then stood up with my hands behind my back.

"What do you mean, Alpha?" Killy asked in confusion.

I looked towards the sunlight that peaked in from the open window, "He wants the Black Stone! And it's with Alina's Parents!" I dropped the shocking revelation to them.

The room was quiet as everyone seemed to be taking in what I just said, but I didn't wait for them, I continued, "You all know how hard we have been looking for the black stone, and you know how important it is to me, right? But…I never knew the Black Stone had other power other than its healing power and suppressing power, and that power is what Richard wants!" I explained and turned to them with eyes filled with anger.

"Wh-What other power does the Black Stone possess, Alpha?" Gemini asked with a clenched fist.

I looked at them all, then spat out, "The power of the Moon! As long as he absorbs the power in the Stone, he can become a Lycan!"

"A Lycan?!" They echoed with shock written clearly on their faces.

"The-Then Alpha, what do you want the Black stone for? Is it still for that purpose or…?" Killy asked with gritted teeth and red eyes as he fixed his eyes on me.

I looked at him and smiled, "Do I look greedy to you?" I asked and he shook his head.

"I want to save her and also use it in suppressing my powers. I have possessed some of it and with the help of the moonstone I will be able to control the rest." I explained.

"But, will they give it to you? I mean your mate's parents? Won't they think you approached Luna because of this?" A lady asked with worries.

The question threw me off guard as I hadn't thought of that, but-

"Also, is this the real reason you saved them, Alpha?"
