Chapter 16: Return

POV Marchel.

I'm back in the werewolf world. Yes, I have to come back here because I have something I want to do.

As for Hana, I told her to keep watch over Cynthia from a distance.

Right now I really can't take care of that woman openly, I also have to take care of some things that I haven't finished in this world of mine.

Maybe it was because I was too focused on the human world that I forgot about my duties. But now I choose to return to my world for a moment.

I won't be in the wolf world for long, no matter what I have to return to the human world and prove that Cynthia's child is mine.

“Marchel?” my steps stopped when I met Marry.

Marry walked towards me with a small jog, not forgetting the smile that broke when she saw that I had returned.

Marry had indeed been waiting for me to come back since the time I came out of the wolf world.

“Where have you been, Marchel?” Marry asked me. I could see the woman's shining face when she was talking to me.

"I don't think I need to answer, you know the answer, Marry," I replied with a faint smile.

While Marry stared at me with annoyance. I know what that girl wants. I'm not insensitive, it's just that I keep my distance from him.

No, I and I didn't have any disagreements. It's just that I feel uncomfortable if I get too close to Marry.

“Ah, you suck! So how? Do you want to tell me about the human world?” asked Marry, holding my hand suddenly.

I was of course very surprised by that, Marry's sudden treatment made my brain a little slow to function.

I realized that I immediately pulled back my hand from Marry's grasp.

I could see Marry's disappointed face at that moment, ah, for some reason a feeling of guilt stabbed into the depths of my heart.

"Um, since when were you here?" I asked. Ah, I don't know what I'm saying, I'm just talking. I don't want Marry to feel that I've changed her.

“Marchel?” I stared at Marry in confusion when the woman looked at me with a look that was very difficult for me to decipher.

"What is it?" I asked.

“You…. ah, never mind. I shouldn't have said this to you, Marchel either!” said Marry sourly.

"I'm sorry, Marry. I'm not focused," I said uncomfortably when I saw the change in the face of the woman in front of me.

I could see Marry nodding slowly. “What did you find in the human world, Marchel?”

"Not much different from the world of wolves, huh ... I think like that, not much different," I replied.

Indeed, I feel that the world of humans and wolves is not much different. I also do not know what Marry meant by asking like that. Meanwhile, he can go alone to the human world whenever he wants.

I shook my head slowly, clearing the thoughts that were not in my head. Besides, I already really trust Marry.

"Are you comfortable there?" I paused for a few moments to think of the right answer.

Comfortable? Ah, I could feel comfortable anywhere and anytime. It just feels different. It's just that I was able to fall into a deep sleep at that time after so many years.

Yes, Cynthia. That woman is still an enigma in my head. Even when I returned to my original world that woman kept haunting my thoughts which could drive me crazy.

"Yes, maybe. I will also return to the human world again. I'm here just to do something,” I replied. I could see Marry's shocked face when I said that.

“Wait, you mean you want to go to the human world again and only be here for a short while? So?" asked Marry confusedly.

I nodded in response because what Marry said was true. I will not be here long.

After my task was completed, I immediately returned to the human world.

"Can't you just stay here?" Marry offered me.

"Don't be ridiculous, Marry. You know what I'm doing, right?" Marry nodded faintly in response to my words.

I walked away from Marry while the woman kept following my steps. Even Marry kept beside me while I was here.

I don't have a problem with this, it's just that it feels a little uncomfortable, especially after my task is finished I will return to the human world.

"Ow, this hurts." When I heard Marry's groaning voice, I just turned around to see the woman's condition.

When I saw her, she was already sitting on the floor clutching her ankle, like she was rolling. Ah, I'm not sure either. What I could see was that the woman was holding back her tears.

I went straight to her and saw Marry's wound. "What is it?"

“I fell, Marchel! Why are you still asking me why? irritating! It hurts,” said Marry with tears streaming down her cheeks.

I could not see the state of Marry like that, I just checked the woman's feet.

“It hurts Marchel...” she said softly as I held her ankle. It looks like this woman has a sprain, the account also doesn't have the heart to leave Marry alone in this condition.

Today plans that I immediately want to return to the human world, but it seems I have to discourage myself, maybe tomorrow?

"Are you able to walk?" I asked Marry.

Marry shook her head in response, the woman considered my hand that was touching her ankle. “It hurts, Marchel. It's hard to stand up, you just hold it like this hurts."

"How did you get hurt, Marry? Why are you so careless of yourself?” I said by slightly raising my tone to Marry.

After all, how could he be so careless? And was her wound so bad that he complained that her ankle hurt a lot? But I noticed carefully that there was no wound at all.

Akh, just a little bruise, and it looks like it's so bad that it hurts to touch it.

“Marchel, don't you intend to help me? Why are you just hanging there?” I immediately looked at Marry when I heard the woman speak.

It's not that I don't want to help, I'm just thinking about the wound on Marry's wrist, yes, I'm still thinking about that.

But when I saw the woman's face groaning in pain and holding back tears, I felt pity. The wound on Marry's ankle may hurt, otherwise, how could that woman cry, right?

"I will help you, Marry," I said, holding Marry's body.
