Rose was surprised to hear the words of a female doctor who had just come out of the operating room. She did not find the slightest lie in the beautiful face. The woman's face looks red with teary eyes. "Complications? What do you mean? Did something bad happen?" asked Rose trying to be calm. "Sorry, something happened on the operating table." Rose looked at the look on the female Doctor's face, she waited for the Doctor to finish her explanation. Seeing that the female Doctor was silent, Rose became dizzier and annoyed with curiosity. "What happened to my husband?" there was a clear look of panic in Rose's tone. "Sit down quietly, Mrs. Miller." The woman brought Rose to sit on a bench. "How can you deal with all this?" "Face what?" Rose looked at the woman in front of her in surprise. She also turned her gaze towards the door in the operating room. Curiosity surrounded her about what was going on behind the door. "Forgive us for failing." "Speak the truth, Doctor! Look me in the eye and explain what's going on there!" Rose shook the female Doctor's shoulder, covering her masked mouth with both hands. Her heart was beating fast. Rose didn't want to guess where this conversation would end. Her body started to go limp, but the woman didn't dissolve in presumption. Rose kept hoping it wasn't bad news she would hear. "That--" Just simultaneously, the operating room opened and they pushed someone on the patient's bed. Four nurses and a male doctor pushed together. Their faces look so sad. They stopped the patient's bed right in front of Rose without removing the cloth covering someone's body. "Forgive us, Mrs. Miller. This is your husband." The Doctor, whom he recognized as the operation leader, looked sad. Rose was surprised to see a white cloth covering Robert's entire body. She strolled with a pale face. Can a small operation like that lead to significant complications and take someone's life? The question raced through her mind just as her heart was breaking. "What does all this mean?" Rose asked slowly. "Forgive us, Mrs. Miller," said a nurse with a sympathetic face. They all say the same thing, thank you. Rose was silent for a moment. Her face was pale, but she didn't shed a tear. Rose's sharp eyes stared at the white cloth covering her husband's entire body. She roughly pulled the fabric and saw Robert's eyes were closed. Plak! Rose slapped Robert in the face! There was no reaction from the man whose body still felt warm in her hands. The woman raised her head and stared intently at the doctors and nurses around her. "What are you guys doing in this hospital? Just a small operation, you can't do it?" Rose's quick question didn't require an answer. The two doctors and four nurses were stunned by Rose's reaction. They didn't see the woman weeping and groaning-a completely different response from other women who would immediately cry until they fainted. "If you can't afford a vasectomy, do you deserve to be called a doctor? Give up your title to be a corridor cleaner!" Rose was gasping for air with anger. "Now, I make sure you guys won't get away with all this." Rose then turned to Robert. The woman held Robert's chest and thought for a moment. Rose sighed before moving her right hand to keep Robert's cheek. "You promised to look after me, doctor Robert Miller." Again, Rose slapped Robert on the cheek. Once a slap switched to another, Rose's left hand was ready to rise for a fourth slap but was stopped when someone stopped her hand. "Rose, this hurts." Rose saw clearly that Robert opened his eyes and winced, feeling his reddened cheeks. The woman silently stared at Robert who smiled faintly at her. Various kinds of feelings raged in her mind. "Rose, don't slap again," said Robert spoiled. "You suck!" Rose snapped. Tears were reminiscing in the corners of Rose's eyes, but she was reluctant to shed them. "You're all playing me on purpose?" Rose in her calm voice, looked at Robert sadly. "I'm sorry, Rose, it's just…." Robert turned to the fellow nurses and doctors who performed the vasectomy on him, asking them to help explain it to Rose. However, all fell silent. "I just wanted to tease you because…." For the first time in his life, Robert was confused about something, especially the look in Rose's eyes that intimidated him. "Rose, I'm sorry," Robert said pitifully, "Hi! Help me explain." Robert shouted in annoyance. The man winced in pain as he forced himself to get up. The rest of the anesthetic still left a slight trace of pain after the recent surgery. "Can you not make trouble?" Rose held Robert's shoulders to keep him lying down. "Listen to me, you're going to be in trouble just as you recover for using a female doctor to perform this operation," whispered Rose. Rose's eyes glanced down at Robert's body, looking so cynical. "Don't punish me, Rose, it's a misunderstanding." Robert held both of Rose's hands, holding the woman's steps that were about to walk away. "Miss Miller, this is a misunderstanding… we're just teasing Dr. Robert if his wife finds out if…." The dignified young Doctor was silent, unable to continue the sentence, when Rose raised her eyebrows. "Sis Rose," this time, the female Doctor opened her voice with a soft tone and acted spoiled as if she was Rose's sister. "I'm not your sister!" Rose's firm words made the woman shut her mouth for a moment. "S--sorry, we were just curious--" "What? Are you curious about how I'd react if I lost him?" Rose pointed harshly at Robert's nose. "Would it be fun for you to make fun of someone's feelings, especially with death?" Rose's series of wise words made all of them who were more educated and of higher rank bow their heads to her. Rose looks so authoritative judging everyone without giving them an opening to dodge. In the other corner of the room, Jasmine and Michelle watched the scene. The two women were amazed to see Rose's firm attitude. Jasmine smiled a little as she patted her mother's shoulder. "Mom, you've found your replacement." "Of course, I never misjudge." Michelle smiled proudly. Meanwhile, Robert, who had not seen Rose's stern attitude in a long time, was at a loss as to what to do. All of his apologies have been ignored. "Take him to the recovery room." Rose gave an order which the nurse and Doctor immediately carried out. They felt it was better to leave immediately than to deal with the lioness's wrath. "Rose … accompany me, please," shouted Robert over the patient's bed, starting to move away. "You will spend the night alone contemplating, doctor Robert!" "No, Rose, don't do that." The handsome Doctor's pleading cry made his colleague smile widely. Rose didn't budge from where she stood, watching Robert walk away. A faint smile tugged on her face. She wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes. Tears of annoyance because Robert had tricked her, but Rose managed to trick her back when she felt the man's heartbeat.
