Ivy's POV

He looked at me like I had just said something that he was not expecting me to say.

" Why does it bother you? The last time I checked, you were not any part of the organizers of this party" he said.

I smiled, he was part of the organizers and that meant that he knew she was going to be here.

" I thought you had a little brain in that skull of yours, you are going to let a woman who humiliated you and made you look stupid come here and smile all she wants, how weak of you"I said.

I stood still and flashed him the brightest smile and made my way back to Anderson.

I got to where he was and met him speaking to Lily. It was the most silly sight of my life. I wondered what he was doing there speaking to Lily.

" What is going on here? Is there another party going on here?" I asked them.

Lily turned and faced me, her eyes filled with so much hate but it never bothered me.

" I was only having a little conversation with your husband. You know as a wife you are, you are meant to look out for details, his shirt was not well placed and I just did that for you" she said.

She was trying to get on my nerves and I did not want her doing that. I let out a smile as well.

" Thank you so much. You did not have the, I could have seen it and done it myself. There was no need for such kindness" I said.

She moved away and I had my eyes on her. I saw the way her head moved around the room, she was searching for something.

She paused, maybe she had seen who she was searching for.

I followed her with the corner of my eyes and saw that she was heading towards Oscar. I felt disappointed. Why would she be going to him? And I was sure he was going to entertain her and all she had to say.

" You know you did not have to give her audience, and I am aware she was not here to arrange your collars, what did she say?" I turned to Anderson.

She must have said something to him and I was sure of it.

Anderson scoffed. He knew I was aware she had said something to him. But I just could not place what she said to her but I was sure of it.

I went close to him and looked at him.

" You will have to tell me the things she said to you," I said.

I walked away from him, I wanted to know what was going on with her and Oscar but I could not go there.

" It is a good thing to see how worked up you are for someone like me. I wonder what you are planning but you also have to know that I am planning something for you as well, don't think you are going to escape it" I heard someone say behind me.

I turned and my guess was right, it was Lily. She has finished with Oscar and now back to me like some jobless old lady.

I looked at her and sighed. She was on hold, the person I am after now is Oscar,maybe I will come back to her or her mother when I am done with Oscar and Anderson.

" You should mind your business and make sure you get what you want from this party, because I am very much aware that you want something here. You can not just come here and be stupid in wasting the whole time" I said.

I walked away and went ahead to meet with Anderson. He held me close like I was going to run, even when I was not going to do that.

" Why are you holding me like this? Did something happen?" I asked him.

" No, nothing happened, I am holding you this way because of what lily told me" he whispered.

I knew she must have told him something. Probably something that I never did and she was just trying to get on my nerves.

" Okay, but I guess it is not the right time for you to do that. There are eyes on us and it won't be nice for them to see us in such a state, we can speak about it when we get home" I whispered, while wearing a very bright look like nothing was going on.

He released me a bit and stared hard at me. It was just his hands that he let go of and not his eyes, he still looked at me like I was going to run away and it was so uncomfortable to have those eyes on me that way.

I thought it was all of the guests I was to see but I was very wrong about it. I had no idea that Lily's mother was also invited.

Now I feel like something is going on, and I have no idea what it is but I can feel it.

" What is she doing here? I thought this party was not for people like her? I can't believe this" I said.

He looked towards my direction and was also shocked to see her there.

" I have no idea how the invites were being distributed but Father won't like any of these and Oscar knows it.

He left me standing there, still in so much shock as he fked in search for Oscar. Well, I know where Oscar was so I followed and got him.

" I know where you can find Oscar," I said.

He nodded and murmured a thank you to me.

I took him to where Oscar was.

" I want to know why you brought Lily and her mother here, you know too well that father won't like this, yet you went ahead to have it done?" He asked.

" It's my party and you should be glad that you got invited"

" You are part of the organizers, and the last time I checked, you had just a little influence over it"

The heat coming out of their hard stares was much.
