Chapter 63
THE NEXT MORNING.
Elena wakes up early, in order to get breakfast ready and take Ava to her new school.
Harrison, Jason and Ava were seated at the dining table while Elena served the food.
“Good morning Aunt Lena.” Ava greeted.
“Morning baby, how was your night?”
Elena asked taking a seat.
“It was good,” Ava replied.
“Good, eat your food so we won’t get late on your first day at school,” Elena said.
“Jason, how are you feeling?” Elena asked.
“Much better, just weak, and I don’t think I will be able to feed myself because of my hand, I think I will just leave breakfast.”
Jason said trying to get up from the table.
“I will feed you if it’s Okay with Harrison.”
Elena said looking at Harrison.
“Okay, no probs,” Harrison replied.
Jason grinned, Elena picked up the spoon and fetch an amount of rice and sauce,
Jason opened his mouth lightly and Elena feed him.
“Gosh, you are acting like a baby Jason, you have spoilt your shirt,” Elena said.
“Hahaha, uncle Jason is a baby.” Ava teased and laughed.
Elena cleans his shirt while he stares at her lustfully I guess.
“So, the queen of flirting got no shame, you even have the Nerves to flirt with your husband cousin brother in front of him? For once, don’t you feel shameful?”
Sara cut in.
“I’m not in for any drama Sara,” Elena scoffed.
“But mama, aunt Lena is just helping uncle Jason.” Ava pouted.
“Shut up, what did you know, this Elena always like a saint but in reality, she is a devil, you know something, once upon a time, your aunt Lena chose Jason over Harrison in front of her friends and she was married to Harrison at that time.”
Sara said Smirking.
“You are crossing your limit Sara, Ava is just a child, and yes, you are not allowed to be on our side, your boy's quarter is there and all the food is available if you know what’s good for you, get out of this place,” Harrison shouted.
“I’m not going anywhere, I’m seating right here with my daughter and eating breakfast, and there is nothing you can do, Harrison McCalls,” Sara said.
“And yes, why are you defending Elena, how many times has she kissed Jason?”
“Ava, she is not who you think she is, better avoid her,” Sara added.
“Mama, you are the one that is not who I think you were, Mama, the truth is am not proud to have you as my mum, gross you are so bad.” Ava spat.
“Don’t talk to me like that, are you stupid.”
Sara asked dragging Ava's ear while Ava cried.
Harrison stood up and drag Sara giving her a good slap.
“You slap me,” Sara asked.
“If you continue to hurt Ava, then am not gonna only slap, but I will do more than that,” Harrison said and drag her out of the room.
“Ava baby, don’t talk to your mum like that, that’s bad, and you are a good girl.”
Elena said.
“But she was hurting you, you are so kind aunt Lena, I don’t care if my mama will beat me, but you are the best, I wish you are my mum instead,” Ava said.
Jason watched them without saying anything, he likes the drama and enjoyed it.
“You are still my little Ava, so smile for Aunt Lena,” Elena said.
“Can I call you mum instead?” Ava asked
“It will be cool, but your mum will not like it, I mean, I’m not your mum.”
Elena said.
“I call my mama, Mama, while I call you mum, or should I call you Omma?”
Ava asked.
“If that will make you happy, then you call me Oma,” Elena said and Ava hugged her.
“She has spoiled my mood already, I will be giving to the company Elena, please take Ava to school, I have talked to the headmistress, so if you need anything, just give me a call,” Harrison said.
“Okay babe, take care,” Elena said.
“Can I come with you Harrison?”
Jason asked wishing Harrison will agree because he can’t wait to see him go crazy because of the missing important file.
“But you are still not strong, besides you can just stay at home,” Harrison replied.
“ I’m really scared, I’m feeling like those bad boys will come back again, please take me with you.” Jason pleaded.
Harrison sighed.
“Okay, just don’t cause me trouble.”
Harrison replied.
“I know you definitely are planning something Jason, let’s see what you get.”
Harrison thought.
“Bye, Dada,” Ava said and peak Harrison's cheeks.
“Bye sweetheart, enjoy your first day at school,” Harrison said and they left with Jason.
Elena held Ava’s hand and they walked to the car, the car zoomed off to bright sky school, (BSS), the most expensive and popular school in the state.
THE MCCALLS INVESTMENT.
“What am I hearing Lisa, I can’t believe this.” Harrison half yelled.
“I never fought anyone in this company, she was just too much to call me stupid, and is all because of Frank, I can’t believe this,” Lisa said sadly.
“I was not lying when I called you stupid, because only stupid ladies force their friends to do something they don’t want,” Sofie replied.
“I didn’t order you to be heard to continue exchanging words with each other, Sofie, you are going to apologise to Lisa if you want to continue working in this enterprise,” Harrison ordered.
“I see no reason to do that,” Sofie replied.
“Firstly, Lisa is a senior staff here, she is the senior staff and my representative In this company, therefore you have to respect her, secondly, Lisa has never fought with anyone, I’m the only one that can describe who she is, so you started this fight, so is either you apologise to her, or you are fired,” Harrison ordered.
Lisa beamed a smile.
“Well, sorry then,” Sofie said.
“I’m not joking Sofie, your apology does not sound sincere, don’t force me to take action on you,” Harrison said.
“Fine, I’m sorry,” Sofie replied.
“You can go back to work,” Harrison ordered and Sofie left
