Chapter 46: THE MEETING

THE MEETING

“What sort of questions are those?” Caesar asked, staring at Grandma Agnes angrily.

“Answer me now,” Grandma Agnes replied.

“Is this the reason why you called me for this family dinner? To ask me personal questions?” Caesar asked.

“There's nothing personal about this question, bro,” Yvanka replied.

“Will you shut your mouth?” Caesar snapped.

“Don't shut her up. You think you are getting younger; you need a child, and I need a grandchild. I get old every day, so I have limited time to live,” Grandma Agnes said.

“Hmm,” Caesar breathed, trying his best to calm his nerves.

“Soon, you will be getting a grandchild,” he replied.

“Says who? Grandma doesn't mind Caesar; he has a very promiscuous wife. I don't even think she has a womb, Axia said.

“What! How dare you say that to Camilla?” Caesar yelled.

“Because that's who she is, get married to Lisa, and she will give birth to beautiful and handsome children,” Axia said.

“Who's Lisa?” Grandma Agnes asked.

“Granny, she's my childhood friend; she deserves Caesar, not until he got married to that slut called Camilla,” Axia replied.

“Watch your tongue, Axia; stop being rude,” Caesar said.

“Leave her alone; allow her to talk,” Yvanka replied.

“Lisa likes Caesar so much, and she was ready to do anything for him, but did you know what he used to pay her back?” Axia asked.

“Axia, you need to understand the fact that I didn't know that Lisa liked me before I travelled; I just found out when I arrived back, but I am married, and I can't cheat on my wife,” Caesar replied.

“The same wife that always cheats on you?” Axia said.

“No, I won't believe that. Camilla is a responsible woman,” Caesar replied.

“Responsible indeed, brother, you need to listen to Axia. You know she won't say anything if she doesn't know anything about it, Yvanka said.

“There's nothing Axia can say to me that can destroy my trust for Camilla,” Caesar replied.

“Really?” Axia said, raising an eyebrow.

“Yes, so shut your mouth up,” Caesar replied.

“I give Camilla three months to get pregnant, or else you would be forced to get married to Lisa. I need a grandchild at all costs, and that can ruin my love for Camilla. I was liking her gradually when you brought her over to my estate the last time,” Grandma Agnes said.

“Three months? Why would you give us time to get a grandchild for you? Remember that we are not God, who makes children, Caesar replied.

“Three months; that's the time I am giving Camilla,” Grandma Agnes said, her tone firm.

“Anyways, I think you have to extend the time that you have given Camilla, because she won't be around within the three months,” Caesar replied.

“Why? Where's she going?” Ivanka asked.

“She has joined an entertainment industry, so she would be travelling for three months because she wants to be featured in a movie,” Caesar replied.

“How many times have I told you that you must not allow your wife to work?” Grandma Agnes asked.

“I can't stop Camilla from pursuing her career; try to understand, Grandma,” Caesar replied.

“You have finally given her more chances to meet all her secret men,” Axia said.

“Can you just shut your fuckin mouth?” Caesar replied.

“Oh please, allow me to talk,” Axia said, rolling her eyes at Caesar.

“Anyways, I would be extending the time to a year; Camilla must bear me grandchildren,” Grandma Agnes replied.

“Can we just eat our dinner in peace? Enough of all these unnecessary conversations.” Caesar said.

“Who told you the questions are not necessary? They are the reason why you are here,” Yvanka replied.

“I guess we are done with the conversation, then let's eat,” Caesar said.

“We are not done yet,” Grandma Agnes replied.

“What again?” Caesar asked.

“Axia would be relocating to your house in the next three months,” Grandma Agnes replied.

“What! That can't be possible,” Caesar said.

“What do you mean by that? Can't I stay with you in your house? Axia asked.

“Why did you want to come over to my house? Grandma's estate is enough for you, Caesar replied.

“I will be going to Italy with Grandma in the next three months,” Yvanka said.

“Italy? What for?” Caesar asked.

“For a competition, I want Grandma to follow me,” Yvanka replied.

“Take Axia with you; let her follow you,” Caesar said.

“No, I don't want to follow her, and again I can't stay all alone in this estate, so it's not bad if I come over to your mansion,” Axia replied.

“Capital NO, we don't accept visitors in my house,” Caesar said.

“Says Who?” Axia asked.

“My wife made the rule,” Caesar replied.

“To hell with her; I am relocating to your house in the next three months, and there's nothing Camilla can do about it,” Axia sneered.

“Can't you just relocate to Lisa's house?” Caesar asked.

“No, I can't; she lives in a rented apartment, and it's also a bungalow. You know how much I hate staying in a low-standard house,” Axia replied.

“Fuck, Axia You are unbelievable. I can't believe you can talk like that to your friend's apartment, Yvanka said.

“You know I don't pretend; I am just stating facts,” Axia replied.

“You're unbelievable,” Yvanka said, bursting into laughter.

“How long are you going to stay in Italy with Grandma? Caesar asked.

“One month,” Yvanka replied.

“I feel a bit relieved; at least Axia won't be staying for too long,” Caesar said.

“By the way, why don't you want Axia to stay with you and your wife?” Grandma Agnes asked.

“Because she's so troublesome, she and Camilla aren't on good terms,” Caesar replied.

“Who told you I am relocating to that house for that bastard?” Axia said.

“Can you see this, Grandma? Axia talks to Camilla anyhow; she doesn't respect the fact that Camilla is my wife,” Caesar replied.

“That's the consequence of getting married without your family members' intention,” Yvanka said.

“End of meeting, let's eat,” Grandma Agnes replied.
