Chapter 111: One hundred and eleven- Sparkles

SARAH PIERCE

Before Nathaniel’s return from grocery shopping, I had been contemplating the right time to address my raging need to satisfy the intimate appetite we had been trying to hide.

I knew he wasn’t suggesting anything out of respect for my pain and healing process, however, today I just couldn’t take it anymore.

Once Raya was asleep and I heard him enter his room, I swooped in and amazingly, when he showed up before me, he was dressed in only a towel, making things easier.

I am so glad I did not hold back. And I’m happy Thaniel didn’t hold back either.

As we lay side by side, trying to catch our breaths, I could still feel the tingle of his cock, and my walls clenched with the need to start another round of the amazing sex we just had. But I ignored that need and turned to him, my sweaty body gumming to his, his eyes focusing on me while one of his arms circled my waist.

“We should have used protection,” he whispered, his lips leaning to my shoulder to caress it with a long kiss. “I doubt you are ready to take the risk of another child.”

“Hmm.” I snuggled closer and allowed my fingers to graze his chest, my touch focusing on his nipples. “It won’t be terrible to take that risk. But maybe we should try in six months or a year.”

“A year sounds fine.” His luscious lips were still exploring my skin. With ease, he travelled to my neck. “We need plenty of time to have fun. Taking care of two kids is a lot of responsibility that we must put our all into.”

With a grand smile, as he planted ticklish and tingling kisses on every part of my neck, I called, “Nathaniel.”

“Hmm?”

“Thank you.”

He looked up, his eyes glistening with wonder. “What for?”

“Back then, when we first met, I was reluctant to be with you. If you had walked away…” My brain felt a pang as the imagination of an alternate reality played in my head. “I really can’t imagine my life without you. Thank you for not giving up on me.”

“Sarah,” he softly replied with his sad-happy smile filling his eyes. Carefully, he cupped the back of my head and our thighs intertwined at the same time, the creamy and slimy releases we just shared smearing in the process.

Then, he said, “I know I said I liked you from the moment I saw you. But have I ever told you the moment I fell in love with you?”

My head shook left to right as I inwardly realised that he actually never told me the reason. Well, with the way he has always loved me, I didn’t see the need to ask.

“On the fifth day of our relationship, we spoke about the first day we met. You said my statement about your amazing stubbornness empowered you.” His gaze did not falter from mine. “That excited me. However, aside from that, while you were speaking, there was a sparkle in your eyes. Till now, I don’t know what that sparkle meant, but I know that it spoke to my heart. It made me certain that I was with the right woman, I even imagined the future of our little family that day.”

“You did?” My voice was about breaking. His endearing words were stirring emotions within me.

“Sarah.” He kissed my lips. “I could never have dared to give up on you. I told you, didn't I?” He placed another kiss. “My heart never forgot you even when my memories were gone. Giving up on the woman I love was never an option. Giving up on Sarah Pierce is never an option.”

Before my lips could burst out a sob, his lips pressed against mine again and slowly, we communicated our affection, our hands not failing to hold each other as much as possible.

“Nathaniel,” I moaned his name into our kiss and his hips tightened against mine, his erection poking me greatly.

“At this rate,” he said as we paused the kiss, “we’ll have to go again.”

“I’m not complaining,” I replied. Then I blinked and a little streak of tears rolled down.

“My love.” He frowned with concern, his hand cupping my face dearly. “What’s wrong?”

“I’m so happy, Nathaniel.” My hand led his to my chest. “Right here. I can feel crazy flutters.”

“You are that happy?” I nodded and he laughed with contentment. “Then, I am also happy.”

And he captured my lips again, neither of us holding back. We poured every bit of our souls and continued to speak about our love through the kiss.

Then, seconds later, with bright smiles on our lips and in our eyes, we pulled apart, my lips feeling the amazing tingle of his taste.

Nathaniel, with his fingers playing with my hair, said, “MODAline called yesterday. To check on you.”

“Oh.” The issue of my job didn’t occur to me till the later weeks of my treatment. “I will think about work after our wedding. Right now, I want to take things one at a time.” My eyes swiftly narrowed with devious intent. “The only thing I want to rush towards is the feeling of your penis. And your body.”

Nathaniel chuckled, “Your teasing will never stop, will it?”

“Not when I have my sexy man to play with.”

“Yes. You can play with me as much as you desire.”

“Yay!” I shifted into his embrace some more. Seconds of silence later, I said, “I keep imagining our wedding.”

“Yeah?”

“Getting married surrounded by mountains sounds super amazing, Nathaniel.”

“You’ve always wanted to experience the beauty of the countryside. Selecting the best location was key. Also, the inn we’ll be residing in has so many attractions we must try.”

“The only attraction I need is you, Nathaniel.”

“God. Sarah,” he complained as if he wasn't flushing red already.

With laughter, I said, “Thank you for doing this for us, Nathaniel. Having a wedding in another country doesn’t sound easy.”

“I promised to be your happiness and to protect you. If having a wedding in twelve different locations will make you happier, I’ll be glad to do it.”

“Ah, no.” I quickly stopped him before he could start to consider doing that. “All we need is this one wedding. Besides, as long as you and Raya are by my side, it doesn’t matter where we go for the wedding.”

“Allow yourself to be pampered, Sarah,” he answered. “Use me to feel good. I will never complain if you do that.”

“Oh.” My head rested on his chest. “I’ll try.”

“Good.”

Another round of silence ensued. During this quietude, my mind travelled to something I was thinking about early this morning.

And that thought led me to say, “Erasmus seems to be enjoying the fame of his trial.”
