Chapter 33

Bobby’s POV:

Walking into the club, Bobby was surprised when he saw Beth sitting on Ryan’s lap. She seemed relaxed but far away. Their eyes locked and he could almost hear her heartbeat increase. Everyone around him disappeared, all that mattered to him was her. He wanted to run through all these people and get to her as fast as he could.

When Ryan noticed that she was looking at him, a sinister smile formed on his face. He forced her to sit behind him with one of his strongest warriors. Bobby hated that one the most, he couldn’t fight two of them especially that one.

He would have to walk out of there without her, but at least he knew Ryan was taking her out with him.

“There she is,” Bobby said to Mico.

“She’s with Ryan?” Mico asked. “Does he have her under a spell?”

“No. remember he marked her, either she’s pretending to play nice, or he’s getting curious,” Bobby said.

“Ryan wants to see you two.” A warrior came up.

“Great now, he wants to see a reaction out of us,” Bobby said to Mico. “We’re not going to be able to take her out of here.”

“We can try,” Mico said watching Beth, she was watching them. “Worst we die right?”

“No,” Bobby said. “We just play this game with Ryan for now. Nikolai probably has a plan; we still have to call and talk to him. My father hasn’t called me back remember.”

When they got to the booth, Bobby could feel Beth, she was still his. He wanted so badly to touch her, but with Ryan and the damn warrior in the way, he couldn’t. Ryan thought he’d won this, but in reality, he was going to pay a very hard price for the petty shit he was doing.

“She’s beautiful isn’t she Bobby.” Ryan gleamed about her.

“She’s still mine,” Bobby said taking his eyes off her for a moment. “You realize Nikolai is going to make your life a living hell when he comes and strips your life from you.”

“Me and Nikolai have agreed, he is giving me half of the Russian Mafia, they are set to arrive here soon.” Ryan gleamed with pride. “But that wouldn’t be your business anyways. Get the fuck out of here, I’m done with you drooling over my mate,” he said shooing them away.

“So, what’s the plan?” Mico said glancing back at them.

“We wait,” Bobby said not turning around, he was hurt to see Beth like that. She was not happy, and she wanted to rush into his arms. He would do anything to touch her to feel the sparks that they felt from the day they met.

“Beth looks bad,” Mico said trying not to piss him off, but he needed to hear it.

“No kidding,” Bobby said stepping outside the club. He pulled out his phone and dialed Nikolai instead of his father.

“Bobby DeLuca it’s about fucking time you grew your balls and called me.”

“Sorry, Nikolai I don’t know why I waited. I thought this was going to be easier said than done,” he said running his hand through his hair. “The bastard marked Beth.”

“Oh, he’s done a whole lot more than that Bobby,” he growled. “I have men waiting for my word at his Villa.”

“Why not take him out?” Bobby asked.

“Because I’m coming to America and when I do, there’s hell to pay,” he snapped. “Besides my men haven’t been able to locate your daughter, so I cannot say for sure we can safely take her out of the Villa.”

“My father must have told you about her.”

“Ryan too. His loudmouth doesn’t think before he speaks. He thought sending Beth and your daughter to me, using your daughter against you,” he laughed. “He thought I was an ally once, but then he turned and used Beth as a hostage.”

“So, whose side are you on?”

“Mine actually, but in reality, son, I am your father-in-law so my best interest would be yours. So, I am here for you and Beth. I am coming to my paperwork and stuff should be processed soon. I have eyes and Beth and Ryan, once we land, we will storm the villa kill everyone except the girls,” he spoke. “I am sending a care package to the hotel, it should help. Have a good night.”

“Thanks, Nikolai,” Bobby said hanging up the phone.

“Well?” Mico said pacing in front of him.

“Russia is coming to America,” he said getting into the SUV. “He said there is a care packing at the hotel, not sure what he meant by that, but it should help us. He also said once he is here, we are going to raid the villa.”

“Why doesn’t he say it now?”

“Ryan has Abby hidden, so he doesn’t want to take a chance on getting her killed,” Bobby said driving away from the club. It was a lot harder than he thought it would be. His wolf was pissed off that Bobby could just leave her there, and not fight for her, but clearly, Bobby wasn’t ready to kill anyone and with the two warriors there, he wasn’t prepared. He was scared for Beth, but talking with Nikolai, he was sure Beth would be okay. Ryan couldn’t abuse her anymore because they were mated, but he could take the sex he wanted if she wouldn’t give it to him, and that was something he didn’t like.

The car ride to the hotel was quiet, once they were there, a package was waiting for them at the front desk. There were guns with silver a few other things werewolves hated that would help Bobby when they decided it was time to attack the villa. He was getting excited to finally put an end to this mess. An end to Ryan and the American Italians and the trashy ways they made the other Italian mobsters look.

“Well, Nikolai is expecting a war,” Mico said setting some of the stuff aside. “I guess he’s preparing us.”

“Yeah, I just hope we can make it out alive and well.”

“Don’t worry Bobby I am sure we’re going to make it out of this alive.”

The phone in the room began to ring, “Hello.”

“Come down to the lobby, someone requests you,” the woman said.

“Who?” Bobby questioned.

“Your father he says.”

“Great, I’ll be down there in a moment,” he said putting the receiver down.

“Who was it?” Mico questioned.

“My father is downstairs,” he said taking his jacket off. “I wonder if Nikolai wants to do this the old fashion way.”

“I don’t know, maybe an all-out war, this is going to be interesting,” he said walking with Bobby to the elevator.

Once they were downstairs, Vincent was talking with the lady at the desk. He was kind of flirting a little.

“Father,” Bobby said hugging him. “Why are you here?” he questioned.

“Nikolai requested I be here,” he said walking with him to the elevator. “We’re going to be having some fun,” he said nudging him. “We’re doing this the old way, I gave you a month and you haven’t finished what you started, and I would hate to kill you so now we’re going to war as a united front. The Russians have been wanting in on our cut, so now they are part of us because your mate seems to be Russian. Good going,” he said giving him a wink. “I’ve been waiting to do something fun.”

“You call this fun?” Mico questioned.

“Yes,” he said getting into the elevator. “You don’t realize I haven’t seen a war like this since I was a boy. I saw my father, Geno, go into battle. I was too young to go, and he never came back, but my older brother took the reins and then I was gifted them ten years after his murder,” he said giggling. “But now it’s my turn to step down once this is done. Bobby makes me proud, shut this damn Italian American family down they have been a pain in my ass for as long as I’ve known the DeMarco’s!”

“I will do everything I can to make sure they are done and over with father,” Bobby said opening the door to his hotel room.

“I see you got the package Nikolai sent,” he said looking at the stuff on the desk. “He wasn’t kidding when he told me he was going to send you stuff before he comes here.”

“Did you get a room here?” Mico asked.

“Yeah, somewhere around the top floor,” Vincent said walking to the window. “Nikolai said you own this place. I would hate for you to stay in the states but would give me a reason to come here now and then. More roots I suppose.”

“I don’t know about this place; I hate this city.”

“What about you Mico, you like it here?”

“Nope,” Mico said sitting in the recliner. “I cannot wait to leave this shithole.”

“Well, I guess we’ll arrange a sale on this, or we can arrange Nikolai to bring some Russians here to maintain the building, I am sure he wouldn’t mind having some Mafia here, they are always wanting more land, just look at Russia.”

Bobby pulled out his phone and dialed Ryan.

“What do you want DeLuca?”

“I want to talk to Beth,” Bobby snapped.

“She doesn’t want to talk to you, and I won’t let her anyways.”

“Please. I have a message from her father, and I think she would like to hear it.”

“Tell me, and I will decide if she needs to hear it or not,” Ryan snapped.

“Give me the phone Bobby,” Vincent growled.

“Your father there?” Ryan mused, “a family reunion. I’m guessing he is bringing you home.”

“Not exactly,” Bobby said handing the phone to Vincent.

“Let me talk to Beth,” Vincent snapped.

“Not likely old man,” Ryan snapped at him. “You think I’m scared of you because you’re in America Vincent DeLuca?”

“You should be scared Ryan if I’m here who else is here?”

“Oh, Beth’s father? So, a big old family duel?” Ryan mused. “Why don’t we all meet at the club later, have a big old reunion, I know for a fact that none of you will bring your wolves because of shame, scared to come out.”

“You think we’re scared to show our forms?” Vincent laughed. “We’re coming, and we’re coming hard,” he said looking at Bobby. “We could kill this entire city and not give two shits about it.”

“Oh, I know you’re unsure where Abby is, she is what you’re after now.” Ryan laughed. “Well, I’m going to keep you guessing, Beth and I have some things to do, so don’t worry about her she is going to be with me, Abby on the other hand I’m not entirely sure where she might be. Could be hurt could be dead,” he said hanging the phone up.
