Chapter 91: The procession.

The people of the kingdom were filled with mixed feelings. They were glad to have won the war, but they knew it wasn't completely over yet. Cole had escaped, wounded and with a depleted army.

As the warriors walked through the capital, led by their King and Queen, Ares and Ariella, the crowd applauded with a loud ovation. It was a beautiful sight to behold. Mothers and wives strained their necks, hoping to catch a glimpse of their sons or husbands who had survived the war. It was a bittersweet moment.

The heroic deeds of Ariella spread throughout the kingdom like wildfire. The people knew they had a Queen they could rely on—a warrior who would defend them and a mother who would nurture and care for them deeply.

Claire and Clara leapt onto Ariella in an outburst of joy as soon as she stepped into the palace. They had stayed behind just in case there was an attack. It was their responsibility to defend it. Ares stood aside, watching with a bright smile.

“I heard you killed four rogues with a single swing of your sword!” Clara said excitedly.

Ariella smiled. “Don’t believe everything you hear. I only killed two rogues.”

Claire straightened her face. “You say that like it’s a small feat. It was your first battle, and you fought courageously. You’ve earned the respect of everyone, including those mischievous council members.”

Ariella sighed. “The war was more intense than I expected,” she said.

“I’m sad I missed out on the fun,” Clara added, looking downcast.

“It wasn’t fun,” Ares interjected. “It was serious business, and we lost lives. We have to honor their sacrifice.”

Clara nodded in agreement. “I think we should do just that.”

“Yes, we will,” Ariella said. “Beatrice!” she called. “Prepare my bath and that of Ares,” she ordered.

A beautiful procession was held for the lost wolves and warriors. They walked from the center of the capital city to the palace, guided by the moon goddess. Everyone held a candlelight. Ares and Ariella stood at the entrance of the palace, facing the people.

“I ought to give a speech,” Ares said, stepping forward, “but the Queen has proven herself in battle. She will do the honors.”

Ariella stepped slowly in her black gown. She hated black, but she endured and wore it.

“Lycans,” she roared, continuing slowly, “this is not a warrior speech; this is a speech from a grieving Queen.”

She paused to look around. The people wore solemn faces, waiting in anticipation.

“We lost bold and brave warriors brothers, uncles, nephews, husbands, and fathers. They fought bravely, and because of that, we can all stand here today alive not in chains, not in cages, but as free people, free wolves, free Lycans.”

“While in battle, I stopped to observe,” she continued, her voice breaking slightly as she spoke. “They didn’t hesitate to swing their swords for our kingdom; they didn’t try to flee for their safety. They fought with zeal, and we defeated Cole, who ran like the coward he is.”

At the mention of "coward," there was a loud cheer. “Today we honor them, and we promise that their families shall not be abandoned. I personally will supervise this, and every proceeding from the housing estates and the lands and properties of Evelyn shall be given to the families of those who fell in battle.”

She turned to face Ares to see if he concurred; he nodded to show his support.

“For the warriors who fought, there shall be rewards for each and every one of you.”

The people shouted with joy.

The royal orchestra began to play on cue.

“Behold your Queen, who fought and bled for us. Long live the Queen!”

Ares and Ariella exchanged surprised glances; they were taken aback. They had not been informed that a song had been composed for Ariella.

The kingdom folks chanted the last part loudly. “Long live the Queen!”

Ariella waved to the crowd, signaling them to halt.

When the crowd was calm, she broadened her shoulders and continued.

“We are not here to honor me; we are here to honor the lost warriors,” she said as she turned to face the conductor. “Play a song for the lost warriors.”

The sound of strings and low horns filled the atmosphere with mournful music.

Ariella was captivated by the moment, memories of the battle flooding her mind. She was close to tears. Ares held her hands tightly in support.

In the crowd, tears flowed freely.

“You did well today,” Ares said. Ariella lay on his chest in their chamber, where the fire burned softly. They were both in their nightwear.

“You didn’t allow the cheers of your name to overshadow the reason we gathered. I am proud of what you did today,” Ares said with a smile.

Ariella turned and laid straight on his body, her shins resting on the backs of both her palms on his chest.

“Did I also make you proud on the battlefield?” Ariella asked, smiling.

“Of course you did. You led like a true Queen.”

Ariella removed her hands from under her shin and took it underneath his night garment, searching for his dick, and held it in her hands

What are you doing Ares gasped.

Taking the lead, as a Queen, Ariella replied with a brighter smile.

She removed his garment from his body after he sat upright to enable her to remove it with ease. Then he laid back on the bed.

She started stroking his dick slowly with her right hands. His shaft was growing bigger in her hands, more erect. She reached down and kissed his neck, she kissed his lips like her life depended on it, while still stroking his dick. This time he was fully erect. He let out a long groan.

She reached down to his chest and squeezed a tiny hair on his chest, then, slowly she sucked on his right nipple, then bit it softly, rolling it with her tongue, stroking his dick harder and faster.

He groaned loudly in response, quivering under her. He tried to turn her, so he could take over.

She held him back down.

I am in charge. She said with a bright smile.

Then she leaned backwards raised her waist, then she inserted his dick inside her. She was wet and warm. Her core lips fastened around his dick with a tight grip.

She moaned when she sat on it fully.

You are huge she whispered.

Then she rode him, slowly at first, trying to adjust to his size, then she rode him to ecstasy. Alphas don't moan, but she was sure she heard him moan her name as he became lost in pleasure.
