Chapter 24: Wolf or Vampire

Leondra clutched her chest, which felt sore. Alpha Almarjaf's attack was certainly very powerful. She shook her head slowly, as if to say that Alpha Almarjaf's words were lies.

Henary then stared at Alpha Almarjaf with a sharp gaze. "Don't just talk nonsense, I won't believe your words. You're just a cruel man with no feelings," Henary shouted loudly right in Alpha Almarjaf's face.

"I already suspected that Henary didn't know Leondra's true identity," Alpha Almarjaf growled silently.

"You better leave here quickly, I don't want to see your face. I will never come back to you," said Henary firmly.

"Henary. You've been deceived by Leondra," said Alpha Almarjaf.

"Leondra didn't deceive me!" shouted Henary with an angry expression.

Leondra tried to get up, ignoring the pain. "Don't talk nonsense, I didn't deceive Henary. You're the one who has been hurting him all this time."

"Leondra is right, she couldn't possibly have deceived me. Because she has been very good to me," replied Henary.

"I have to lure Leondra so she will reveal her identity to Henary," Alpha Almarjaf muttered to himself.

"Henary. You have to come back with me. I promise I'll fix everything, I'll make you the best Luna and make you happy," said Alpha Almarjaf as he held Henary's hand.

Henary immediately pushed Alpha Almarjaf's hand away roughly. "Do that to Earl, I know you only love Earl. You don't need to do that to me, I know you're doing this because you know I can benefit the Wolf Clan."

"No, Henary. You must be misunderstanding. Leondra must have influenced you," said Alpha Almarjaf, glaring sharply at Leondra.

"Leondra didn't influence me; she genuinely helped me. Because of her, I'm still alive today," said Henary, roughly wiping away her tears. She couldn't hold back her tears anymore; it felt so painful.

"Do you believe that Earl, your wife, came here intending to kill me?" shouted Henary.

"That's impossible, Henary!" exclaimed Alpha Almarjaf with a confused look on his face. Of course Earl couldn't have come here, because Earl was already dead at his hands.

"I knew it, you would never believe me," muttered Henary.

"Earl is dead, Henary. I killed him with my own hands. Because of him, I misunderstood you," explained Alpha Almarjaf.

"I also know that Earl killed my mother. And he spread bad rumors about you," he continued.

"If Earl is dead, he wouldn't have come to see me and tried to kill me. You must be lying," Henary growled.

"I'm telling the truth, and I never married Earl. This must be your plan, Leondra!" Alpha Almarjaf looked very emotional. However, Leondra still looked relaxed, her face showing victory.

"Damn it! Leondra planned everything. She tried to destroy my relationship with Henary," Alpha Almarjaf thought angrily.

"Don't blame others, Leondra is not guilty. And my decision is final! I will never go back to you," said Henary, raising her voice slightly.

"You have to come back to me, Henary. You are still Luna of the Wolf clan," said Alpha Almarjaf.

"I refuse to be Luna of the Wolf clan," cried Henary.

Alpha Almarjaf clutched his chest, which suddenly felt painful, upon hearing Henary's words.

"Don't ever say that," Alpha Almarjaf muttered.

"I don't care. My reputation is already very bad in the Wolf Clan. And it's all because of you," said Henary.

"This argument looks very entertaining. Henary really hates that stupid Wolf," Leondra said to herself with a slight smile.

"I promise I will restore your good name. I will admit my mistakes and my stupidity," said Alpha Almarjaf with a pleading look.

"No need! I don't need that anymore. I just need you to divorce me officially, because Leondra and I are getting married soon," replied Henary.

"I won't let Leondra take you. You are mine, Henary." Alpha Almarjaf looked angry, and he couldn't control his emotions.

Alpha Almarjaf used his speed. He immediately picked up Henary's body and carried her away.

"Bastard! How dare you take Henary away from me," shouted Leondra, who immediately chased after Alpha Almarjaf.

Henary also tried to resist, hitting Alpha Almarjaf's back hard, but it didn't affect Alpha Almarjaf, who continued to carry Henary away.

"I have to get out of vampire territory immediately," Alpha Almarjaf growled silently.

Leondra suddenly appeared in front of Alpha Almarjaf and immediately attacked him.

"Henary, are you okay?" Leondra asked with a worried look on her face.

Henary didn't answer, she could only cry and hug Leondra tightly.

"I won't let you take Henary away, enough of your stupidity, you hurt Henary. You are not worthy of Henary either," Leondra growled.

"You think you are worthy of Henary. Damn old vampire!" Alpha Almarjaf snapped.

"Leondra isn't a vampire," Henary shouted.

"I'll prove to you that Leondra is indeed a vampire. I don't care if the Wolves and Vampires have to fight today," said Alpha Almarjaf.

"Stupid Wolf!" Leondra muttered to herself.

"You don't need to worry, dear, I will fight that stupid Wolf. And I will always protect you," said Leondra as she gently caressed Henary's cheek, which Henary responded to with a nod.

"I believe in you," replied Henary.

Alpha Almarjaf immediately transformed into a Wolf. He immediately attacked Leondra.

Leondra tried to dodge and used magic to fight Alpha Almarjaf.

"Leondra is indeed from the clan of wizards, I believe in her, she won't lie to me. Leondra's power comes from high-level magic elements, I can't be wrong," Henary muttered while continuing to watch the battle between Leondra and Alpha Almarjaf.

"I hope Leondra isn't hurt," he continued with a worried look on his face.

The vampires gathered because they smelled the wolf. They had surrounded Alpha Almarjaf. Seeing this, Leondra smiled slightly.

"Henary, let's go quickly!" Leondra hugged Henary's waist and took him away.

Alpha Almarjaf couldn't chase after them because the Vampires had surrounded him. And the Vampires wouldn't chase after Leondra either, because they knew she was their leader.

"Damn it! Leondra, you might get away this time," Alpha Almarjaf growled as he fought against the Vampires.
