Chapter 57

“Oh, so it’s alright if you do it sometimes?” I asked, trying to calm myself down before doing what I would regret.

He nodded and anger took over my body as I found my fist swinging at his face.

I smirked in satisfaction as I heard a crunch. He held his jaw, crying in agony.

“Here’s the thing, I don’t give a fuck if you don’t like me. You can go rot in hell, the devil will be waiting with open arms.” I sneered.

He looked up at me, in pain. “Go to hell.” He murmured loudly, cradling his pathetic broken jaw.

“Not me.” I smiled but my eyes remained hard.

He glared at me, “Dis es why we hate you!” He sounded stupid because of his jaw.

“That’s nice to know. I only hit you because you’re a jackass that deserved to get hit.” I shrugged sitting down on the ground, tired and exhausted.

I picked up a shiny red pebble and examined it. It was beautiful, I was definitely keeping it. I stuffed it in my pocket and looked around to see if anyone saw me. The others were smirking slightly which indicated that they saw me.

I smiled sheepishly, “It's pretty.”

I looked down and saw bare feet standing in front of me. I heard the others gasp in anger as they made their way towards me. I held my hand out, telling them to stop. They heaved a sigh and stopped walking.

I looked up at the second biggest wolf, “What can I do for you, sir?”

He glared and picked me up by my hair. I heard a loud growl and saw Jacob, Monroe and Denver running over to hold Kaden down.

Sighing, I shook my head and looked at Wolfie. Tee hee. These creatures never learn.

“What's up?” I asked, checking my nails randomly. dren was right, I actually am random.

His hold on my hair tightened and I gasped in anger.

“My hair!” I yelled, pushing him away from me roughly.

He let go of my hair, falling to the ground and I ran my hand through my hair slowly to detangle. My precious beautiful locks.

“I hate you.” I snarked. Now I'm one of them.

He glared at me as he got up, towering over me menacingly.

I backed up, “Haven’t you ever heard of personal space? My goodness! You just popped my bubble! You have to blow me a new one.”

He scowled, “We’re doing the world a favor by killing you.”

“Hey! That’s exactly what Miko said!” I laughed, “You know, when he was alive.” I smirked as he turned vivid.

“You killed him?!” He barked.

“I didn’t, my partner did.” I smiled proudly.

He suddenly turned around and yelled, “Who?!”

“Me!” dren sang, stepping away from Aliyah who was tugging his arm protectively.

I ran over to him and jumped on his back, “I want to go home!” I whined loudly, raising a couple of chuckles.

Wolfie started walking over to us, I hopped off of Ben’s back and stood in front of him.

“Come any closer to him and I will castrate you.” I threatened looking at my nails. How’d they get so dirty?! Goodness gracious! It’s going to take forever to get all this dirt out! Bloody Miko! Ugh!

“Can we get whatever this is over with? I’m tired!” I whined and stomped my foot. I'm just a teenager, I shouldn't be getting dragged into all these dramas, even if it's fun.

“With pleasure.” Wolfie growled as he swung his fist towards me.

I held my arm out and blocked his punch. I guess those three years of Taekwondo did help.

He swung his left fist which I also blocked.

“I know Taekwondo.” I smiled as I threw a roundhouse kick at his head.

He staggered a bit before snarling at me. I stood still, carelessly.

“You’re going to regret that.” He sneered.

“And what are you going to do?” I smirked.

He glared one more time before he turned into a big black wolf, then he turned around and ran into the forest.

“Pussy!” I yelled climbing back onto Ben’s back, “Giddy up!” I yelled, slapping his butt.

He flinched, “Stop doing that!”

I did it again, “Nope. Now take me home.” I rested my head on his shoulder.

“Hey! Cora!” Someone yelled, I turned my head around and came almost face to face with Elizabeth.

“Yes?” I asked politely.

“Thank you. For everything.” She smiled kindly.

“No problem. Bring my baby to see me when she’s born. Okay?” I smiled in return.

She smiled and nodded, “Okay.”

“Okay, NOW giddy up!” I yelled, slapping Ben’s butt again.

He curled his hands around the back of my knees and started walking. I felt my eyes get heavy then sleep consumed me.

Ben's POV

I felt Cora’s breaths get lighter into my neck as she fell asleep. Sighing, I pulled her around and carried her bridal style.

“I’ll take her.” Kaden said from beside me.

I shifted her and handed her over to him. Then I grabbed Aliyah’s hand. I saw her blush and I chuckled quietly. I was whipped.

“Shut up.” She mumbled in embarrassment.

“I love you.” I blurted out like the idiot I was, “Um…sorry.” I looked away in embarrassment.

She pulled me to a stop as the others kept walking and I looked at her curiously. She grabbed the back of my neck and pulled me to her roughly, crushing our lips together.

I moaned at the feeling of her lips on mine and wrapped my arms around her, pulling her closer to me. She wrapped her arms around my neck and I nipped her bottom lip.

She moaned and opened her mouth. She tasted so good!

“Benjamin! Stop seducing Aliyah and get in this truck!” I heard Cora yell weakly.

Why?! Why did she have to wake up?! Doesn’t she ever sleep properly?! For more than five minutes?! For God's sake! I groaned in frustration and pulled back.

“Way to ruin our first kiss!” I yelled at Cora.

“My bad.” She laughed as she slid into the truck.

Annoyed, I stepped away from Ali, “Sorry.”

“It’s alright.” She said grinning widely, “Let’s go.” She suggested, walking away.

I looked at her. She has LONG LEGS! Long, sexy ass legs. Dayummm!

“Stop staring and hurry up before Cora has an aneurism.” She laughed, not looking back.

Do girls have a radar or something that beeps when guys are checking them out? I think they do.

I chuckled and started walking towards the truck. She started walking towards Rick’s truck but I grabbed her waist.

“You’re riding with me.” I whispered in her ear.

I felt her visibly shiver, “Okay.”

I smiled and waved at Rick who was glaring slightly. I opened the door and got in, pulling Aliyah on my lap.

She blushed scarlet as I shut the door. I laughed at her and sat back to get comfortable. Kaden started the truck and turned around, driving home. Now everyone calls him Kaden because of Bev. She's so influential.

“Ben?” Bev called from the back of the truck.

“Yes?” I sighed. Knowing Cora, it was definitely going to be something dramatic, dumb and funny.

“I want a nephew soon.” She said,

I turned around in shock, “What?”

“I want a nephew. Girls are too annoying. I just want a male pup to play around with, y'know” She explained.

“What?” I repeated.

“She wants a nephew, dork.” Aliyah laughed heartily.

I looked at Aliyah in shock, “What?”

“Oh God, you are so stupid!” Cora yelled, “Me said I want a nephew soon. A new pup, okay?” She said slowly

I glared at her, “That was unnecessary.”

“You didn’t understand so I had to talk to you like that.” She shrugged

“I understood but why would you say that?” I demanded.

“Because I really want a nephew.” She stated with a seriousness I never knew she had. Cora has never been that serious before.

“Don’t expect any soon.” I scowled
