Chapter 54: Never Been Born

Uriel

Luci laced his fingers between mine as the monsters in the room trailed behind us. Walking down the soft carpeted hallways, we all met in a receiving room. Silas had servants, similar to his body type and others of fishlike qualities on two legs, brought in food and drinks.

Poseidon sat in the overly large decorative chair, colored with turquoise, blues, and hints of orange. One hand went to hold up his red beard as he leaned on the arm. Loki’s eyes went to the food, stuffing his face like he did earlier his turning dark and his eyes glowing red.

“When you get excited,” Poseidon muttered almost to himself, “your animal wants to surface. Remember the techniques I’ve taught you if I am not around?” Shoving Loki to make sure said a proper, ‘thank you,’ he stopped and smiled with an enormous pile of sandwiches in his mouth. Playfully swallowing and muttering his thanks, he shoved another piece inside.

Before I pushed him again, Luci grabbed me and put me on his lap, far away from Loki. “Don’t worry about him,” Luci growled in my ear. I giggled, nuzzling up against Luci’s neck.

“You are just jealous I was giving him attention.” I traced the lamb mark on his chest, causing him to shutter. Grabbing my hand in his, he rubbed the knuckles and brought it to his lips to kiss as he leaned us into the couch.

Poseidon and Luci talked while the monsters all gathered around the sitting area. My eyes continued to drift off, it had gotten late, and I was sure it was well past midnight. A few snarls and growls filled the air while I continued to nod off, but I only found them as a soothing sound to fall asleep with.

With Luci by my side and the new friends which I had gathered in just a short time, I felt safe. With the darkness looming and the future now becoming the present, I felt that the time spent with my mate and my family felt extremely important. My heart was hanging heavy, but Luci’s gentle touches to move my chin upward to plant a kiss on my forehead had me cuddle to him closer.

The whispers became murmurs and now everyone was talking excitedly as I woke. Ares stood tall in his ancient armor along with Mariah, whose hand was intertwined with his. Her head stood erect; her other fist balled in anger as Ares spoke.

“Kronos is there. I saw him with my own eyes.” Poseidon shook his head, the internal fear in him was oozing out of him. There was no use in hiding when you said that dreadful Titan’s name. “I felt his power through the bindings. This is Zeus we are dealing with, not Kronos.” Poseidon winced again, standing at his full height.

Leaning on his Trident, Luci’s gaze fell to Poseidon, who now stood overlooking his underwater kingdom. Poseidon’s inner turmoil about what to do had me sitting up straight, wanting to go over to comfort him.

“I’ve been summoned now,” Ares growled. “I received my letter as soon as I returned from Tartarus. Waiting much longer to answer will draw attention. You especially,” Ares nodded to Poseidon.

“We all go then.” Luci sat me back on the couch. “All four of us at the same time. Zeus is trying to get the gods to assemble in mismatched times not to be taken head on by many gods. It’s strategic, it’s smart.” His eyes gazed at Poseidon, Ares, and Mariah, all with determination on their faces.

“Five,” I stood up, narrowing my eyes at Luci. “There are five of us.” Luci shook his head, brushing a lock of hair away from my cheek. “Four, bunny. You aren’t coming with us. I will not allow you to be taken from me,” he growled. The torchlights flickered in the room and the monsters who stood close by felt Luci’s aura leak from him. Luci’s towering body hovered over me, the lights now dimming into a quarter of the light that was once fully illuminated.

“You, Loki and Silas, will remain here. Poseidon’s creations will accompany us with the rebellion. I will not have you walk into the lion’s den.” Luci gritted his teeth, his hands gripping my arms. “I love you too much,” a low growl rumbled in his chest. The sweet kiss he put on my forehead had me melting, but I had to do something.

“What about my parents?” I muttered. “Maybe they aren’t even there yet! Maybe there will be no trial!” Ares chuckled, crossing his arms.

“Zeus has your parents. He was waiting for one of the strongest gods, Hades, to walk right into the front doors to question him so Hades could be captured easily.” Ares let go of Mariah’s hand, who only looked at him longingly. “Why do you think your mother or father for that matter haven’t contacted you since?” Gone was the playful war god again. His hips bent down to reach my height. I felt so small and helpless.

“They are trying to protect me,” I muttered. Lip wobbling and stepping away, Luci pushed Ares back.

“Back off,” he snapped at his uncle. Ares chuckled, walking away. “I’m trying to put it into perspective here. Hera hasn’t even visited you in dreams now, has she?” I shook my head, pulling at my dress.

“My father came to me in a dream. Why couldn’t Hera visit Uriel? What is the difference?” Luci replied. Ares kissed Mariah’s lips, holding her close.

“Because her power is weakening,” Poseidon whispered, still looking out the window. “The longer you are bound by a god’s power that’s gone sour, the harder it is for you to fight it.” Ares grunted.

“I was going to say she was being tortured not to sleep, but I guess that works, too.” I gasped, thinking that both of those circumstances were awful.

“I said enough!” Luci yelled. The lights went out in the room, the only light that could be seen were the small bioluminescent barnacles that decorated some of the walls. Poseidon’s armor was full of the glow and it swayed as he sat back in his seat.

“They are safe. I know they are!” I snipped, holding back tears. Pulling out my father’s feather that I kept between my boobs, I held it up for all to see.

“Damn,” Ares chuckled, and Luci stood down in shock. Shrugging my shoulders, I clenched it. “What? I didn’t have any pockets in this dress.” Luci grabbed my waist, pinching it.

“Bunny,” he growled until I started praying with the feather that I wound between my fingers. I prayed for my father to come find me, to answer me, to let me know he was alright. Seconds turned to minutes and once the silence of ten long minutes had passed, Luci grabbed the feather from my fingers.

Everyone was sitting down, and my eyes went to the floor. They all waited and watched, and nothing happened at all. “Let’s go,” Luci grabbed my hand. The feather mindlessly dropped to the floor as he led me out of the room. The inside of the palace’s lights now brightened as Luci’s darkening aura graced the gardens. Small fish that could be the equivalent of birds on Earth and Bergarian swam away from us.

Kelp and sea anemonies swayed with the current until Luci had me back up against the garden wall hidden from the decorative path. His eyes were ablaze, and his knee pushed between my legs, which had me feeling hot with need. I would do anything to fulfill that need, but right now, the thought of my parents being stuck in a once bright palace had me feeling despair.

I caused all of this. If I was never born, none of this would have happened. All these gods, humans and supernaturals put into all this danger because of some stupid prophecy that involved me. I wasn’t anything, just a tiny little goddess that barely had control over her powers.

Luci’s once hardened face, softened seeing my weepy eyes. “Oh, bunny,” he silently cursed. Pulling me into a hug, I wrapped my arms around his muscly waist.

“I’m sorry about your parents,” his cheek lay on the top of my head. “We are going to get them back. That is what the whole plan is. Ares, Poseidon, Mariah, the monsters and me. It will be plenty to take him on. Zeus won’t know what hit him.” Sniffing into his shoulder, he pulled away.

“If I was just never born—” Luci’s hand went around my neck, the small squeeze had me melting how powerful he was. My hands fell from around his waist, now holding his wrists.

“My bunny shouldn’t talk like that; my good girl doesn’t talk like that.” I whimpered. “My good girl does whatever she can to please me.” I almost purred, forgetting about the horrible whispers I could hear in my head. If I just wasn’t here, everyone would have been happier and not in danger.

“If you were never born, bunny,” Luci’s lips came to the shell of my ear. The hot breath flowed down my neck, causing my nipples to pearl against my dress. “You would have never saved me.” Taking a heavy swallow, Luci’s thumb caressed the side of my neck. His grip tightened and loosened again, letting me know he was still there.

“I would be living under the box of Kronos, slowly destroying myself because I was afraid of destroying the surrounding worlds.” The front part of Luci’s body now flushed with mine. The heavy breaths had me grip his shoulders. “Without you, Uriel, I’d be a broken god.” I sniffed, wiping away the lonely tear.

“You see, I need you. I need you more than I need air and you telling me you aren’t worth it gives me a new rage I’ve never experienced.” Biting my lip, I pushed enough courage to investigate his fiery eyes. “Now tell me, bunny, how are you going to make this up to me? How can you let me know you won’t think like this again and go back to being the good girl that has such a spark for life?” Luci’s grip loosened, his thumb tickling my chin. A sparkle in his eye glimmered and my hands fell from his shoulders.

Luci had me forget all about my worries just with his touch, his words, and that deep feeling inside my chest that could suffocate me at the same time. The bond we had grew tenfold since mating and I couldn’t wait to explore this beautiful gift his mother gave us. Drying my tears, I knew my Luci wanted to see the playful me, not the one that wishes life was never given to her.

And I wanted nothing more than to please him.

My fingers fiddling with each other, playing with the nails. Luci’s impatient growl had my pushing my thighs together. Surely he didn’t want to do something, out here?” Biting my lip, pulling it with the bluntness of my teeth, I traced his silver belt buckle, tugging it with one of my fingers.

“Bunny,” the low growl went straight to that clit thingy he likes to play with. My knees falling to the soft sand that outlined the stone wall gave softness to my knees. Luci was groaning, his hand falling to my head, squeezing for me to hurry.

Butterflies erupted in my stomach as I peeled away layer after layer of fabric that kept his thick shaft from me. “So good,” he hummed, petting my hair. With a newfound excitement, I pulled it out. It was already wet, thick, and angry as it stared back at me. Taking my tongue, I licked the tip. Luci’s hissing didn’t go unnoticed. Licking from tip to base, and holding his balls with one hand, I nipped the underside of the tip, having him use one arm to lean up against the wall.

“Bunny,” he growled, hand gripping my hair. I smiled, fluttering my lashes as I graced his cock with my lips. He tried to muffle his growls. We were outside and servants walked through the garden and tended to the foliage. It felt so naughty to be out here, but the excitement running through me had me pushing forward. This new level of confidence had me soring.

“That’s it,” he huskily whispered. “See how much power you have over me? Fuck.” My mouth continued to swallow him, his body shook, and the grip on the back of my head tightened. My one hand reached around, grabbing his bum that had me arch my back at his tight muscles.

He muttered something. His face turned away from me, but I didn’t care. I wanted to make him spill himself. It touched the back of my throat and I gagged. I was pulled up from my kneeling position, my mouth releasing with a pop. “My seed is for your pussy, you understand?” I moaned, feeling his tightened grip around my hips.

Pulling my top down, his mouth went to my breasts, biting them with his teeth. “I love these,” both spilled from the stretchy elastic of my low top. “They are all mine. You’re mine, you understand?” I whimpered, running my hands through his hair.

“No one will take you from me, no one will dare touch you.” Luci’s frantic hands bunched my skirt up, revealing no underwear. “Fucking hell, bunny. If I wasn’t so damn hard, I’d spank your ass.” I giggled. He gripped one cheek with his hand and the other pushed his tip next to my core.

“Mine,” he growled into my mouth before he thrust into me.
