Chapter 17: Terror
“Fuck… !” Melisa shouted, she immediately hung up her cell phone. Melisa looked around her, there was no one suspicious. His heart became even more restless when that person followed him this far.
"Hey... what's wrong with you? what happened ?" asked a confused Heriet.
“Heriet?” Melisa immediately hugged her friend to express her growing fear.
"Calm down... what happened?"
“Someone is terrorizing me.”
“Terrorizing you?! Wh...why is that possible?"
"I don't know, all night that person kept sending me disgusting messages and what's more he knows what I'm doing right now and what I'm wearing. But I didn't see him anywhere.” said Melisa so panicked.
“Ok… show me the message?”
“Here, I didn't delete any of it.” while showing his cell phone. Heriet took Melisa's cell phone and started reading the message it showed.
“This is crazy, we have to report it to the police.” said Heriet as he continued reading the mysterious message.
“But he said he wasn't afraid, what if he acts scary?”
"Don't worry, I won't let this continue. We have to tell Kevin everything.”
"Kevin, why?"
"Because he is our friend, we should wait a while to see how brave this terrorist is, who knows, this is all just a joke."
"So, what must I do ?"
“You just relax, don't show your fear to him. Act as usual, brave Melisa Smith. If he sees you are afraid, he will be even happier and use your fear as a weapon. You understand ?"
"Yes, thank you Heri." Melisa hugged her friend tightly with full confidence.
"Don't be afraid, I won't leave you."
Melisa saw someone from a distance. A tall, big man was standing near the tree, his face couldn't be seen very clearly but the look in his eyes was familiar to Melisa, a scary look and he was the same person who had followed her last night.
"What happened to you ?" asked Heriet who felt confused seeing his friend's expression.
"O...that person..." Melisa was still paying attention to the mysterious man who was quite far from her.
"Who ?" Heriet tried to look, but he didn't see anyone suspicious.
"Never mind, we better go!"
“Are you shaking? You are okay ?"
"Yes, I am doing okay!"
“Lisa, you're so pale. "You'd better go home, I'll tell Mrs. Jennet that you're sick."
“N…no need, I'm fine.”
Even though she avoided it, Heriet knew that something was wrong with Lisa, she thought that the mysterious man must be around the school. Maybe that's what scared Melisa.

"Where are we going ?" Melisa asked, Heriet grabbed her hand and took her somewhere.
“Never mind… don't ask too many questions. Just come with me!"
“Basketball club building? Heri, what do we want?"
“Meet Kevin, he skipped lessons from the first to fourth lessons. Most likely he's here."
"Why are we here?"
"Of course asking for his help ?"
"What ? Kevin's help? no… no… I don't want to.” Melisa released her hand from Heriet's grasp.
"Why ? Are you proud to ask for his help?"
"I didn't ask for help, you forced me here."
"Okay... listen to me, maybe this sounds ridiculous for those of you who are currently in a cold war with Kevin. But these are critical times, times when we forget all feelings of pride and pride."
"I do not understand what you mean ?"
"Melisa, you are so innocent, do you think the two of us can fight that mysterious man without other people's help?"
"I don't need anyone's help especially Kevin, I don't want to deal with him."
“Lisa, Kevin is our friend. The three of us have been friends for 12 years, haven't you ever thought? just because of something unimportant that you two were arguing about made a friendship of 12 years come to an end." Heriet looked very fiery as if he was on a big campaign.
"Maybe it's not important to you, but not to me, Heri. "In fact, I'm the one who is very disappointed, even though Kevin is someone I really trust, but sometimes he thinks all my stories to him are just hallucinations."
"Lisa, you yourself told me that Kevin is a very good person even though from the outside he looks like he doesn't care about anything. But honestly you are the person he thinks about the most.” Heriet's expression began to change, a meaning was hidden in his face that was difficult to understand.
"I don't understand."
"One day you'll understand."
Heriet walked steadily into the basketball club building, but from his steps he looked very hesitant. There was great turmoil in his heart that was difficult to express.
“Heri… I understand, yes… now I understand. Even though you said that I was the person Kevin thought about the most, the most important thing was that you were the one who always thought about him!" Melisa shouted, Heriet was shocked and immediately stopped her footsteps.
Heriet turned around, looking at Melisa who was still standing far behind him. Melisa smiled a little, I don't know what sign she was giving, but at least that smile could still cover a little of the wound in her heart.
The two girls arrived at the basketball club building, where Kevin and 7 boys were practicing.
“Kevin…” shouted Heriet while waving his hand.
Kevin turned to the source of the sound, he was surprised not because of Heriet's voice but because Melisa was there with Heriet.
