Even Kai who had come across different types of models and beauties couldn't help but marvel at Lomesa's appearance inwardly. Never in his wildest dreams would he have ever thought that the girl whom he always saw as plain would become so dazzling overnight. She was already jealous to begin with, coupled with the fact that she was filled with hatred, her eyes had already turned red and looked very terrifying. Even her mother who was at the side couldn't help but frown. Just as Samantha was about to glare more at Lomesa, the sinister gaze also shot over at the sane time, directly aimed at her, seeing this, Samantha quickly averted her gaze and pretended that nothing happened. However, the hands clenched on both sides of her body betrayed her current emotions. Her mother went forward and advised soflty.

"Keep your composure, you still have to carry out that plan layer." She said before helping Samantha unclench her fists.

Right. Samantha's eyes lit up when she thought of the plan she was going to execute later. She decided to let Lomesa be smug for a few hours . She was clearly an orphan, then why was her luck so good? The more Samantha thought about it the more she felt that the heavens were really unfair. She was clearly born from a well yo do family, however, since she was a girl, she was very less valued, she was always treated coldly. The reason why her parents could bring her to different events was because she was still useful to them, otherwise, they wouldn't have ever bothered to bring her along everytime they attended the events. Thus, Samantha always hated her parents and brother , how could they treat her like that? She was supposed to be pampered by them for God's sake. However, the person she hated the most was Lomesa. Everytime, her parents would always compare her to Lomesa, infact, all the while, it was always them mocking her by using Lomesa's name. Thus, she decided to destroy Lomesa. She used the drug she had obtained from that person to drug Lomesa, which caused he4 face to be disfigured. She originally thought that she could do the things unnoticed, who knew that Lomesa's adoptive mother actually saw through her scheme? Moreover, that person had told her that the drug had no cure no matter what, however, Samantha seemed yo have overlooked something. The fact that Mrs Anastasia, was just a director of the orphanage in name, her main profession was the research scientist in the research laboratory A. How could she not know what kind of drugs Lomesa had bedn fed..Infact, Samantha already knew Mrs Anastasia's hidden profession, after all, at that time, Lomesa thought that Samantha was a good friend so she shared this little secret with her. Who knew that by doing this, she was already exposing Mrs Anastasia to some sense of danger? Even though Samantha knew that Mrs Anastasia was a research scientist, she never thought that she would be able to discover Lomesa's abnormality at such an astonishing speed. Kai's friends Ian and Blake had gone to socialize with other businessmen. They knew that Kai never really liked these kinds of events so they excused themselves . They knew that they couldn't make Kai. change hid mind about socialising. After all, they knew his temper well, Kai was the impatient type, they actually wondered what had made Kai change his mind to attend this banquet. After all, in the past years, no matter how profitable a banquet was, Kai never had the intention of attending any. He would always coccupy himself with other things. If he wasn't busy, he would rather fool around with pretty models instead of attending banquets. Although Ian and Blake felt that something was off, they still breathed a sigh of relief. Lomesa was still socialising when she saw three people approaching her. These three people were the ones that Lomesa never wished to see. Who else could it be if not Samantha's parents and Samantha herself? It was this trio that had brought her endless pain in her past lifetime, how could she even bring herself to say hi to them? Just looking at them made her feel disgusted. Thus, she by passed them and continued walking forward, as though she did not know them...
