Chapter 79

Along with her soul and heart, Ayzel's eyes were also hurting. She did not notice that she was covered with a blanket.

The bright sunny day was the opposite of her inner feelings. Even the day was feeling darker to her.

Soulessly and heartlessly she started to work in the kitchen. She was not responding well to the questions of others.

She was in silent and humming mode. Her eyes seemed to be dead.

A Walking Dead with a non-poisonous nature.

"Asma Khala, this girl will surely kill herself if she continues to live like that," Jojo exclaimed in worry for Ayzel.

"The torment through which she is going now is no less than a deadly sorrow. She raised and fed Farheen like her own daughter. And now she's disowned her. Everyone can't understand her pain." Asma sighed. Both were looking at Ayzel from a distance.

Aliya Khanum and Zain disappeared from the mansion early in the morning. No one knew about them, or where they went.

No one knew what cooked between them last night.

Last night

"Zain so what is your decision now? I don't want any random talks. Just cut to the chase and give me a clear answer. I hope your answer won't disappoint me." Aliya Khanum was having a serious and private conversation with Zain.

"You still want to know about my decision?" Zain lifted his lips from a corner in a smirk.

"I will bring my daughter back to her house. And this time I will not allow anyone to separate her from me. Not even her mother." Zain was determined.

"Of course dear son. Of course, she is the daughter of this house. Being Arham's milk sister she has equal rights as Arham has." Said Aliya Khanum.

"Even my heart is not allowing me to stay away from her. Even for a moment." Aliya Khanum sighed in pain and guilt. What happened had also hurt her. Farheen had saved her life and in return, Little Soul received a punishing pain.

"Come one fairy, just a few bites more. If you don't finish your breakfast, then how will I give you medicine? Hmm! Be a good girl. Open your mouth Aaaaa!" Saliha was performing her full effort to feed Farheen. But she was not cooperating.

In a single night, she had lost the energy and color of her face. She did lose the blood. She was already very weak. She needed her mother. She was missing her. But last night she returned.

Zikria and Burhan's visit proved a healing in her recovery. But no one could replace the need for a mother, even altogether.

The ringing of the doorbell disturbed the breakfast session. Saliha was wondering who could be out there at this time. It might be Ayzel. She thought.

But on opening the door she received the appearance of most surprising guests.

Aliya Khanum along with Zain Skinder.

"Am I landed on another dimension of the world?" Saliha thought.

"Dear daughter, kindly let us in. We want to meet our baby." Aliya Khaunum said politely.

"Tsk. Tsk. Miss Lawyer this kind of rudeness was not expected from you." Zain smirked.

"Oh..uh..um..Huh..sorry. I beg your pardon. Please come in." Confused Slaiha invited them.

Aliya Khanum entered the first followed by Zain.

"Owch!" Saliha said after being pinched by Zain.

"You are not dreaming. You are still in the same dimension of the world where you were two minutes ago." Speaking nonchalantly Zain went towards the bedroom.

Saliha was still shocked to see Zain's cool dude attitude. She has never thought of his side. Even Ayzel always mentioned Zain as a mature person.

With one look at Farheen, the hearts of Aliya Khanum and Zain burned in pain. They could not hold the sight of her head wrapped in a bandage.

"Dadi Sadqay jaye, Qurban jaye apni bachi p (grandmother would sacrifice her life for her daughter)" Aliya engulfed Farheen's fragile and small existence into her warm hug.

Zain was holding himself with much difficulty. He wanted to bang his head and transfer Farheen's pain to himself.

"Dadi.." He took Farheen from Aliya Khanum and hid her in his embrace. He inhaled the angelic smell of her. He was in peace. The peace he lost a few days ago.

"Fairy why did you leave with Aunt Saliha? Did not you think about your papa what would happen to him without you? Why you did not come to me or tell me when your silly mama was sending you away?" Zain's eyes were doused with tears.

"Because you are not my Papa." A truth spoken by Farheen. But why had this truth crushed Zain's heart into millions of pieces?

"Your Mama told you this na?" Zain gulped his anger.

"No. First Aunt Warda told me. Then Mama confirmed it." She reminded him of the day when Warda attacked her with venomous tactics and intention.

"Did I ever say that I am not your Papa?" Zain's question made her think deeply. "Never, Right?" He also answered the question for her. She nodded with an adorable pout.

"Then why did Mama and Aunt Warda say that you are not my Papa?" She asked with a furrowed face.

"Because both these stupid ladies are jealous. They are jealous because Papa loves you more than them." Zain tickled her a bit, bringing a smile to her face.

"Do you also hate me because of jealousy?" Farheen turned to Aliya Khanum.

"No, meri jaan (my life). I never hated you. It was just stupid of me. I am sorry. Please forgive this old granny." Aliya Khanum held her ears.

Farheen's eyes widened. "But how big people can be stupid!" she exclaimed.

"Sometimes elders act more stupid and silly than a child. But my child is intelligent and smarter than all of us." Aliya Khanum squeezed her cheek softly.

"Like silly Mama" Farheen gave a naughty chuckle making the other two laugh. Saliha was viewing everything from the door.

Unknowingly a smile decorated her face as well. Her heart melted at this adorable scene.

After setting the things, Along with Farheen, Zain and Aliya Khanum took their leave.

"Don't need to gossip about these to your beloved best friend. She will come back at you on her own when she sees me with my daughter in the same house." Zain kissed Farheen's cheek.

Saliha smiled and Zipped her lips.

"Zain Skinder, are you sure you can reverse the destruction you have caused?" Saliha asked him with a doubt.

"It's only For the Sake of Farheen's smile I am letting her go with you. I don't know how you wound them again. I don't know if should I trust them with you or not. Because what you have it can't be undone." Saliha's uncertainty was right.

First, Zain took Ayzel to hurt her. He crossed every boundary of humanity.

So, why he is accepting Farheen and Ayzel now? What made him change?

Zain sent Farheen to the car. He did not want t to answer Saliha in front of Farheen.

"I can't forget what I have done. My sins. I would never forgive myself for that. Neither of my sins is forgivable. But I want to make Ayzel and the Children smile and be happy for the rest of their lives." Zain expressed his intentions.

"said easier than done. Ayzel might compromise for the children but I don't think so, she would accept you Let alone forgive you. Because you can't settle into the broken pieces of heart." Saliha was not sure about his journey of redemption.

"All I want is to heal her from the damage of wounds given by me and wounds of the past. I will never ask her to forgive me. Because my sins don't deserve forgiveness. But the least I can do is to make her live happily with the children. And I would share a little part of this happiness as well." There was a broken smile on his face.

"Wel,l I don't know what should I say. But my beloved best friend has suffered a lot. All I want now is to see her happy as well." She trusted him. "But how would you do that or even begin it?" Saliha still had that confusion.

"Oh, don't you worry about that? A few years ago, she fell in love with a monster who possessed her in his obsession. The monster can do it twice." Zain winked at her and left her in bewilderment.

Zain sent Aliya Khanum to the mansion in her car. He went with Farheen to the shopping mall. Before sharing her with Ayzel, he wanted to spend a day with her daughter. Hr took her tio every store she desired and bought everything for her. All the time he was carrying her in his arms. He did not let her touch the floor even for a nanosecond. All the people who saw this father-daughter duo were envious of them.

A father-daughter day.

Earlier he said Ayzel and Warda were jealous because he loved Farheen more than them. But now he was feeling jealous at the thought of sharing Farheen with Ayzel. It was silly of him. But he had a little fear. He was not Farheen's biological father. Would that be a hurdle? Would Ayzel let him claim fatherly rights over her?
