Chapter 73
Ayzel was crying her heart out in the park, close to the mansion rather than the vast and lavish garden in the mansion. Because that garden had now become part of the criminal's den for her.
She was sobbing loudly as if no human soul was there to hear her.
Then she started screaming at the sky for the injustice and barbarity of fate.
"WHY ALLAH? Why me? If you were about to make me homeless again then why did you give me a home in the first place?" She screamed.
"From the cool shelter you are throwing me again under harsh sun rays?" Who will support her now?
After crying for hours there, she was either calm or no tears, and strength was left inside her.
Her state of misery was disturbed by the ringing of her phone. It was Sameer. He was waiting for her decision. She had already promised him that if what he said would prove true, she would help in getting justice for Tehmina.
With shaking hands, she picked up the call.
"You. Were right, Sameer." And thus she announced her decision.
When she got up, her locket which was given by Zain on their wedding night as a symbol of his love fell on the floor. It was broken, broken like her.
She returned to the mansion and locked herself in the room.
Later in the evening when Zain returned she found her mode still sour. He thought she was still feeling bad for her friend.
She was leaning on the headrest of the bed while Zain was combing his hair in front of the dressing mirror, and then he noticed the broken locket.
He explored it by taking it in his hand.
"Squirrel how it got broken?" he asked in surprise. It was made up of very fine quality of gold.
"Here people got broken and you are worrying over a mere necklace," she said emotionlessly.
For a moment Zain found her attitude weird.
"Don't worry. I will get it fixed." He told her with a smile.
How will you fix my broken heart? How will you fix your crimes and atrocities? These unasked questions appeared in Ayzel's mind.
She just laid down on the far side of the bed. She turned her side. Today she did not sleep in Zain's embrace. She did not snuggle in his embrace, much to his disliking.
But he did not object. He was trying to solve the mystery behind her upset behavior.
Little did he know his whole world had been upset.
The next day Ayzel went to meet Sameer and Tehmina again. Now they had to discuss the next strategy to capture Zain and lock him behind bars. His time to pay for his sins had come.
This time that called her into an apartment. The driver dropped her at the door to avoid the accidents of last time.
She went inside the apartment. She immediately hugged Tehmina.
"Please forgive me. I have doubted you when you were already burnt in his atrocity. You were right, your name bittered him." Ayzel said crying.
"It's okay Ayzel. I was worried for you too. He could hurt you too for saying my name. You took this courageous step for me." Tehmina thanked her.
Now the trio discussed the next plan.
Zain's criminal secrets were kept in his study. It was a private room. Even after the wedding Ayzel never went alone there and nobody was allowed to enter in study without his permission and presence.
Sameer asked Ayzel to look for a diamond-embellished USB. It contained some illegal consignment secrets.
"Sameer I am sacred. I don't even want to step back into that mansion. My baby is so little and innocent." Ayzel cried softly.
"Ayzel do not be afraid of anything and the future. In the past, I could not save you because I was unaware of the enemy's power. But I promise now I will protect you and Graham. I would never let you and Arham feel a lack of anything. He is my son, too." Sameer assured her by squeezing her hand.
For an I know reason she did not like it. She retreated her hand.
"Sameer, I just need a place for some days until I find a job and another place. I don't want you to be burdened with the responsibility of me and Arham. I could not provide a good father to my child but I will prove myself as a good mother." She was determined.
But Sameer argued with her. He told her in his presence he wouldn't leave them shelterless.
On the way back all she was thinking about was Sameer. He still cared for her. He was ready to be with her even after this. He was ready to accept a divorced girl with her baby that was too from his enemy.
Sameer did not tell that directly. But Tehmina said all these to Ayzel. But Ayzel did not love him back in the past. And now she could have this feeling for anyone.
She was not betraying her husband but giving justice to an innocent. She ostensibly told Tehmina that her heart only fell for Zain. And no one could have that place again. She will tie Sameer or someone else into any miserable relationship with her.
From that day everyone noticed a change in her behavior. She tried to mask her anger and uneasiness but her unlove attitude was displaying.
Even one night, she snatched Arham from Zain. He was trying to make him sleep. Zain barely stopped himself from shouting at her.
He was ignoring her shit-like behavior but now his limits were ending.

Zain was in his study with Warda. They were discussing a joint business deal when worried Osama rushed into his study room.
"Boss, I want to have some words alone with you." There was an envelope in his hand.
"Oh come on Osama, as I have never heard any of yours and bhai's mafia deal and story. But I can leave unless you are going to share any vulgar material." Wrada scoffed a mocking smile and snatched the envelope from Osama's hand.
Zain shook his head in a smile.
But Osama's facial expressions were troubled. Osama tried to stop her, but it was already too late.
Warda took out some pictures from the envelope. But she could only see the first picture when they fell from her hands in shock.
The Adam's apple had arrived in their heaven.
