Jianna POV

I guess it is true that 'distance means so little when someone means so much'

I really admire Jo and Bea's relationship. Even if they're both far away from each other, they continue to love and stay for each other. It is like, even the distance could not stop what they have.

I'm so proud of them because they continue to fight for their love despite the sadness. And now, I'm even prouder to have witnessed all of their sacrifices, all the challenges they have faced and survived together.

I'm so happy that they have now reached their first anniversary even though they're far from each other!

"Jia make it fast. Jo might come home." Bea said while we're on a video call.

"Will you please calm down, Bea? Everything's good. Ella already bought Johana's favorite food."

"But where's Ella?" She asked.

"Maybe she also ate what she bought." I joked but Bea seemed to not get that it was just a joke.

"What?!" She frowned.

"It was just a joke, Bea. If I were you I'll just calm done. Ella and I are doing everything. Don't worry about Jo. I'm sure Marci's doing his role pretty well." I said.

We're planning to surprise Johana for their first anniversary that's why I told Marci to hang out with Johana for a day as we prepare everything in our room

"Bea you know how you can help us here while you're there?" I asked.

"How?"

"Just shut up and we're all good." I said and I saw her rolled her eyes but she followed me.

I continue designing Johana's bed with heart-shaped flower petals and after doing it, I held the ipad so Bea can see it.

"Is it okay now, Bea?" I asked.

"What the hell, Jianna? Are you kidding me? When did that become a heart-shaped?" She asked.

"Stupid! That's what our heart looks."

"I know you're bitter in life because you got fooled by Marci and you still don't have a boyfriend but can you please not make it a literal heart-shaped? Don't form it like our organs!"

I smiled shyly. "Oops. Sorry. Okay, I'll do it again."

After designing Jo's bed. Ella arrived with the foods and she's now preparing it on the table. Then we scattered the balloons inside the room and have the banner ready before Johana arrives.

"Yay! We're all done!" I said.

"Bea, look. Is it okay?" Ella asked while showing Bea what we prepared.

"It's more than okay, Ella. Thank you so much Jia and Ella for preparing this. You guys are the best and I owe you very much." Said Bea. I'm glad she liked it because if not I will let her go here and make it.

I was about to say something when my phone rings...

It's Marci. I answered it instantly.

"Hey." I greeted.

"Are you guys done now? Johana badly wants to go home and I couldn't do anything about it. She just left my car and now walking towards the dormitory." Marci said. I can feel his stress.

"What? Okay! Alright! I'll just go downstairs. I will just talk to you later." I said.

"What for? Do you still need anything from me?" He asked.

"What? No... I mean, what?" I asked again because I got confused. He's right. Why do I still have to talk to him?

"Yie! I guess you really just want to hear my voice." He said teasing me.

"What? No way! Shut the f*ck up!" I said and ended the call right away. I feel myself blushing. Damn it!

Bea and Ella we're teasing me because I was talking to Marci but I left them in the room since Johana is approaching.

"Oh gosh!" I was surprised when I saw Jo heading her way on our room.

"What? You're surprised to see a goddess?" She asked.

"Why... are you here?"

She just rolled her eyes. "Jia will you please stop? I'm not in the mood today. Why did you pushed me to hang out with Marci when you know that today's the anniversary of me and Bea?"

I did not answer her and I just let her walk to our room... I'm sure you'll understand now, Jo!

Johana Morin POV

I was really not in the mood right now because I spent almost a day with Marci and I wasn't able to talk to my girlfriend.

Today's our first anniversary and I feel sorry for Bea because I wasn't able to call or message her... or have some quality time with her.

Not that I'm mad at Marci but I don't know! Whatever!

I entered our room and was surprised to see how beautiful it looks right now.

"Hi, baby! Happy Anniversary!" Said Bea on the video call. The laptop was placed on my bed so she could see my reaction.

"Oh my gosh." I whispered while looking in our room..

There's a table that has my favorite food on it... flower petals in my bed... balloons scattered everywhere... and a banner saying,

'No matter how painful distance can be, not having you in my life would be worse. I love you, Johana. Happy anniversary!'

There I saw Ella and Jia. They're all smiling at me.

"They're the ones who prepared everything, Jo." Bea said so I immediately hugged my friends.

"Thank you so much!" I said to them.

"You're welcome, Jo. We'll just give both of you some alone time okay? If you need anything, just call us." Ella said.

"Now you know why I made you hang out with Marci. Don't be mad at me!" Jia said.

I pinched her cheeks. "I'm sorry. I didn't know. Anyway, thanks much again!"

After that they left me in the room to enjoy everything with Bea.

I walked towards my bed and sat there. I placed the laptop on my lap.

"I miss you, Bea. Thank you so much for these." I said.

She smiled at me. "Anything for you, Johana. I want you to be happy."

"I wasn't expecting this. Thank you so much for the efforts. I really appreciate everything, Bea. This makes me miss you even more." I said while trying to hold back my tears.

"You're always welcome, baby. Thank you for staying with me, for always understanding me. You're the best girlfriend, Johana. I won't get tired of loving you."

"Who would have thought that we're here celebrating our anniversary despite the distance? I'm proud of us, Bea. I wont get tired of loving you too." I said.

"Have you seen the teddy bear I bought for you? It has my shirt and scent on it. So you could hug it whenever you missed me." She said so I looked for it inside the room and it's still in the box.

"Oh gosh, Bei! It's so huge!" I said when I pulled the bear our of its box.

"Yep. So that it can cover your body while hugging it."

I immediately hugged the bear. "Thanks for this Bea."

"I have mine too!" She said as she hugged the bear.

I laughed at her. "Stop being so cute baby!"

"I love you." She said.

"I love you more..."

And we continue talking for hours. We also cried because of joy but it was covered immediately by our laughs. We made this day fun by being with Ella and Jia. We let them join us. And all I can say now is that, my heart is full.

I'm blessed to have them in my life.

I'm blessed to have people like them who treasures me so much.

"Bea, sing a song for Johana!" Ella said.

And I was surprised that Bea is prepared for that. She's holding her guitar and played a song for me. I could help bit but got teary eyed. I miss her so much but I'm happy for what we have right now.

After spending time with each other, we decided to end the call because Bea had an emergency meeting and I understand. It is also getting late here so we just fixed everything and decided to take a rest.

I leave Bea a long message on what I feel today. I told her everything that I wasn't able to tell her awhile ago.

And since I am starting to miss her again, I hugged the teddy bear she gave me...

And I feel comforted by it.
