Chapter 120
Frank looked coldly at Seraphina. If he could, he really wanted to slap this woman twice.
"Do all you people from Saints Organization know how to put on such a show?"
As soon as he said this, Seraphina's body stiffened. She quickly shook her head and said, "I don't know what you're talking about. What's Saints Organization?"
Frank raised an eyebrow and lowered his voice, asking, "Don't tell me you really don't know?"
Seraphina nodded. "I really don't know what Saints Organization is!"
She absolutely couldn't expose her identity so easily!
Frank couldn't be bothered to keep arguing with her. He said, "It doesn't matter. Even if you don't admit it, I still have reasons to kill you."
Seraphina's eyes widened in terror. "What do you mean by that? It's not my fault we didn't make a deal - you're the one who didn't want to. Why would you kill me?"
Without turning around, Frank pointed at the cage behind him. "They are the reason I'm going to kill you."
The terror on Seraphina's face disappeared. She looked at Frank mockingly. "I thought you were going to say something important. You want to kill me over these worthless things?"
"Worthless?" Frank looked at her with contempt. "You think you're better than them? You're just a pawn in someone else's hands too, called upon and dismissed at will. Who knows which day you'll die."
Seraphina pulled at the corner of her mouth. "I can't be bothered to waste words with you. Talk it over with my babies."
With that, she picked up a whistle hanging from her neck and blew it. The whistle was specially made, producing a low sound that made people's bones tingle.
Soon, two figures slowly emerged from behind the factory.
One had a modified body - through the skin at the elbow and finger joints, you could see silver-white mechanical structures replacing the bones beneath the muscles.
The other was thin with high cheekbones, and his grayish-yellow skin was covered with fine scales.
"These two weren't easy to get. One has almost all his bones replaced with special metal, and the other has indestructible scales."
Frank covered his mouth, turned to the side, then said with disgust, "These two babies of yours are just as disgusting as you are."
As he finished speaking, he used the motion of lowering his hand to press a tiny hidden camera pinned to his chest.
Quinn had given him this on the way here, saying it could help record his factory investigation without anyone noticing - hardly anyone could spot such a small camera.
He hadn't expected it would come in handy at this moment.
"Frank! You're asking for death!" Seraphina's hands clenched tightly, her fingertips turning white.
She was shaking with anger. She turned to look at the two modified humans and said, "I order you to tear him to pieces!"
As soon as she finished speaking, the two modified humans charged at Frank.
The man with replaced bones had metal spikes piercing out from his elbow joints as he rushed forward.
Frank felt his scalp tingle. Did they dig holes in the skin beforehand so these bone spikes could attack people?
Sure enough, anyone who could create this kind of modified human wasn't normal.
A normal person probably couldn't come up with this kind of modification idea in their entire lifetime, right?
Frank pulled his thoughts back and dodged the attacks from both modified humans while observing their weaknesses.
Seeing him constantly dodging, Seraphina felt her anger subside a bit.
"If you agree to make a deal with me and spend one night with me, I'll have them spare you and let you live. How about it?"
She blinked at Frank gently, her tone suggestive.
Frank laughed in anger. "The sun hasn't even come up yet, and you're already daydreaming?"
Seraphina's face instantly turned cold. She pulled at the corner of her mouth. "Since you're looking for death, I won't stop you. Don't worry, I'll burn you to ashes and scatter your remains down the mountain until there's nothing left. No one will ever find you!"
Frank acted as if he hadn't heard. Words that would never come true meant nothing to him - no different from air.
His eyes lit up. He knew where the weakness of that bone-modified thing was!
He stabbed his military knife into the inner side of the thing's elbow.
Frank didn't try to cut through the metal elbow joint, but used skillful technique to pry it.
In less than ten seconds, hydraulic fluid sprayed out from the gap. The moment he withdrew his knife, the arm went limp and hung down.
Then Frank used his knee to hit the exposed rib, sending the person flying.
The moment it hit the ground, the modified human's eyes went dark. Seraphina tried to wake him up, but it was useless.
She could only grit her teeth and keep watching, consoling herself that it was okay - she still had another baby! This modified human was also very powerful!
At this moment, the second modified human was standing 6 feet behind Frank.
A tingling sensation rushed through Frank's back. Before his brain could think, his body reacted, jumping 2 feet to the left.
The next instant, a stream of yellow-green liquid landed where he had been standing.
When the liquid touched the ground, it made a sound like the ground was being corroded.
Frank looked at the yellow-green liquid and gave Seraphina a look that was hard to describe.
"Why do you like these disgusting things? His attack method is spitting stuff out!"
And this yellow-green liquid was way too corrosive!
"As long as he's powerful, that's enough!"
Seraphina put her hands on her hips and looked at Frank proudly. "If even a drop of his acid touches you, your skin and bones will be corroded. You'll die soon!"
"If you die by his hand, I won't even have the chance to burn your ashes. What a shame."
She said it was a shame, but her eyes were full of gloating.
Seeing the man open his mouth to spit more liquid, Frank's expression turned serious. He weighed the military knife in his hand and charged at the man.
Seraphina couldn't understand his intention. She just thought he was crazy. How could a human compete with this kind of non-human creature?
But a minute later, her thoughts changed.
She looked at Frank with terrified eyes, then at the modified human lying on the ground, body curled up.
The modified human had been killed by his own liquid after the military knife sealed his mouth diagonally, preventing him from spitting the liquid from his throat!
Frank patted the dirty spots on his jacket and clicked his tongue. "What a waste. A perfectly good military knife, can't use it anymore."
He turned to look at Seraphina, his eyes calm. "Now it's your turn. I can let you choose how you want to die."
Seraphina sobbed, slightly turning her head to face Frank with what she considered her most perfect profile.
She wiped the tears from the corner of her eyes and said, "Actually, I was just following my brother's orders. If you're willing to spare me, I'll help you deal with my brother, okay?"
Her hand gently pulled down the jacket from her right shoulder, exposing her bare shoulder. "I'm also willing to become your woman."
