"Tsk! You already forget that fat boy with acne on his face who proposed to you during your high school?" He answered smirking.
His voice echoed in my mind and I came into deep thinking.
Who is this fat boy?
Who proposed to me?
Remembering those days of the Famous Nalzen Villarreal makes me want to go back to the past where I'am just a happy-go-lucky student without any problems.
But I already regret those days.
I've given heartaches and problems to my parents.
But still, they always cared for me.
And I'm ungrateful that I wasn't able to return their kindness to me.
It's all in the past and I can't go back and live in the shadow of my younger years.
I'm happy that I'am mature and grown up now. I just hope that my parents are happy in heaven while looking at me now.
This is what they always wanted. For me to have a happy family on my own and a great job that I love the most.
I didn't do anything good during these years of my spoiled brat days.
And speaking of spoiled...
The fat boy that I've known is cruel and spoiled too! But he will never win against me because I'm much crueler than him!
I'm the evil queen during those times.
"You are Fatty Julius?" I asked laughing.
"Look at you, you're still the same! The heartless and famous Nalzen Villarreal. You didn't even change at all huh." He seriously said.
But I know that he is just joking. We are Enemies first before we became friends. He's a good friend of mine but when I did not accept his proposal he suddenly stop schooling and I didn't see him at all until now.
"You're the heartless fatty, You suddenly disappeared and I didn't hear from you at all. Where have you been?" I asked.
"You know that I'm brokenhearted since you busted me. And I'm ashamed of myself but look at me now! I'm so handsome and got a killer body that every woman will die for. So, how was it? Did you fall for me this time?" He asked smiling showing his beautiful teeth.
And I felt like I'm going to burst out from laughing. But I should control myself not to hurt his feelings again.
"Julius-" He stops me from talking.
"Wait- I'am not using that second name again! You can call me Mark." He said trying to be cute.
What will I do with this fatty Julius?
"Okay Mark, I'am still not attracted to you. But you are my good friend and you know that!" I said.
And his facial expression is sad and will about to cry. He is still the soft-hearted fatty!
"I've been looking for you for almost how many years now and I'm excited to show you that I'am not fat anymore. I'm very handsome. And you still didn't like me?" He asked crying.
Oh, here comes the crying baby! But he's an adult now!
"Stop it, Don't cry. Other applicants might think that I scolded you for what you did outside! And Mark, but I still want to call you Julius. I'am already Married." There, I drop the bomb to cut off his hope.
"What? Why? You didn't even invite me to your wedding!" He shouted.
He is exaggerating again! Julius is always the best Actor in our class.
"Stop your act, Mark Julius Borromeo! Let's talk seriously here. So, what happened? I thought that you inherited your family's business. Why are you applying for a model?" I asked confused.
His family is a Billionaire that owns some beach resorts not just here in the Philippines but outside of the country too.
They also have some famous Malls that I wanted to propose someday to introduce Z Fashion's collections and make my clothing stand there.
"I'm bored! I just want to enjoy a carefree life while I'm still young. Dad and Mom are always scolding me but I don't want to listen. I'am their only child and heir. They should let me do whatever I like and give all that I need." He explained.
And I felt sad upon hearing about his parents. He's lucky that he still has them by his side. My parents died and I'm giving them problems and a headache. They didn't even see and witness the new me.
"Don't say that, You are lucky that you still have your parents by your side Julius. Go back and do whatever they said because one day you will regret that you didn't even listen to them while they are still alive." I said and tears fall from my eyes.
I couldn't control my emotions! I miss my parents so much. I hope that they have already forgiven me.
"What do you mean? And why you are crying? Nalzen are you okay?" He asked with concern while patting my back.
"I'm okay, I just miss my parents. They are already dead." I answered bitterly.
I can see the shocked expression that is written all over his face.
"They are both dead? I just can't believe it! Last time I eat your Mom's strawberry cake and now she is dead? I'm sorry to hear about your loss Nalzen." He said sincerely.
