Chapter 453
By the end of their visit, Thea was getting ready to tell her Louisa didn't still approve of her relationship with Angel. Although she was eternally grateful to him for saving her daughter's life.
Thea had called her mum to speak to her alone. Louisa had an idea why Thea had called to speak with her. She only hoped the outcome was in her favour.
"You're staying right?" She asked, too impatient to allow Thea speak first. Thea stared at her mum feeling speechless for some seconds. "Thea?" She called. "We'll be together. I promise you'll never have to go through what you've gone through my baby girl. I promise." She said desperately, hoping that would move Thea to stay with her at least. Thea felt sad knowing that it would take more time for mum to adjust to the fact that she was choosing Angel over her.
"I know you'd do everything within your power to make sure of that but I'm sorry to break your heart mum." She said feeling very bad for what she was about to say.
"No, don't... You can't." Louisa said knowing Thea's decision already.
"I can." Thea said.
"Thea?" Louisa's voice became teary.
"I want to be with Angel mum." Thea's voice also sounded teary. She hated that she was breaking her mum's heart but she had to do what made her happy this time.
"With everything that has happened?" Louisa asked still in denial of how deep Thea's love went for Angel.
"With everything that has happened mum. It makes me want to be with him more. I'm madly in love with him." She confessed.
"You're going to spend the rest of your life with a monster. Thea he has killed people." Louisa was getting riled up.
"I'm going to spend the rest of my life with the man I love. The man who saved my life." Thea corrected.
"Thea, I am grateful to Angel for risking his life for you. For saving you but....
"No buts...." She cut Louisa off and grabs her head as if she was having a headache from the argument.
"Please...." Louisa begged acting out of desperation. Her voice cracks out.
"No mum." Thea cried hating what her mum was trying to do. Don't do it. Don't make me choose. Don't you dare put me in that situation again!"
"Thea I'm doing this because I love you."
"Heavens know I love you till death mum but I need to own my life. " She said with her voice breaking out.
"You're choosing him over me?"
"No mum, I'm not choosing him over you and I'm not choosing you over him. I'm choosing myself over everyone. I'll do what makes me happy for once mum and if you really love me you'd let me go just as Angel did." She said it with her heart. This was what she wanted and no one was going to make her choose otherwise.
After much hesitation and tears Louisa spoke again.
"Is this what you really want?"
"Yes."
It was hard for Louisa but Thea was right. Wanting Thea to choose her over Angel was out of her own selfishness but Thea was her daughter and she loved her more than life itself. Her daughter was the most important person in her life and even if she didn't like the man she had fallen in love with, she wanted her to be genuinely happy.
"Fine.... Go be with him. I'll let you go because I love you that much." Her voice was thick with sincerity. Thea moves into her arms for a long hug .
"Take good care of yourself Thea. Remember, you'll always be my baby girl."

After such emotional moment with her mum, Thea had gone to Angel, meeting him where he had been waiting for her.
Angel looks at her with a worried expression as to what her final decision was. He knew she'd choose him but with Louisa, he gave the benefit of doubt.
Her smile confirms his thoughts and his heart leaped in joy. She runs into his arms and he lifts her up the ground and lets her down again.
They hug so passionately, relieve washing over them.
"Finally, I get to be with you." Thea said while Angel inhaled her scent deeply knowing he'd wake up to perceive it every day. The pull away slightly and Angel cups her face.
"You have no idea how much I've waited for this day. The day you finally be in my arms. The day I wake up to see your pretty face every day. I'll never take waking up next to you for granted Thea. You mean the world to me." He said moving her to tears.
"You're my world Angel." Thea said and slowly they pull into each others lips, locking it sweetly and kissing so passionately.

I was in tears to leave but this time around, it wasn't because I was heartbroken. It was because I finally got to be with the love of my life. It was out of pure excitement.
This time, I was saying good bye. Goodbye to my mum. Hoping that one day she'd accept Angel and I.
For once, I was choosing myself first. I chose my happiness.
I chose Angel.
A/N: Hello everyone, this isn't the end. We are few chapters away from it but by now you can tell the story is already rounding up.
