Chapter 28: Twenty-eight
Rainy days are a welcome one after a long, hot summer. Especially if it rains on a lucky day, it becomes even more exciting. It holds particular importance in our lives.
A fresh afternoon shower soothes our souls and re-energizes our enthusiasm. The small paper boats floating in the tacenda of memories, the raindrops perched on the trees and flowers, and the chirping of a thousand unknown birds give a surprise feeling to our minds.
Rainy days are times of discovering a new life. The trees looked greener after the rain, and nature seemed more diverse. The tiny raindrops on the windowpanes and dandelions shone like pearls in the late sunlight.
The rain comes with thunder and lightning.
The gray clouds darken the usual azure taste and guard the sun. However, every dark cloud has a silver lining, and it changes our hope and inspires us. Thunder deafens us, and we accept the wrath of nature with outstretched arms. We marveled at the white cracks of lightning separating the clouds.
The air was thick with condensation and a dull roar, like a drum trap, gushing into the sky. The trees sighed from the strong wind as the leaves climbed into the wind. A steady downpour of rain begins to descend from the overcast cloud, crystal tears that quietly landed on the pavement.
Opaque puddles accumulate in the sediments and cracks of the fermented soil. Bright lightning illuminates the sky and is followed by a loud roar.
Due to the disturbing, uncontrollable nature of the weather, storms can cause stress; however, with the right mindset, a storm can be quite calming. A storm can be a relaxing natural setting in the soothing rain of falling rain, calm, dreary look, warm breeze.
Before the storm, the air would feel warm and familiar. The atmosphere the town had, for the most part, remained unchanged throughout the day.
When the wind came, the aura changed. At first, it is a slight cooling that only the tenderness of the nerve endings and hair follicles can recognize.
But now, as the cool air began to pick up, it seemed to form a frosty blade, which sliced through the hot air of the city.
It penetrates the skin of the busy population, exciting the senses and forcing through clothing, funneling through sleeves and outer collar. Then, as the cold wind leaves a space, a thin and cloudy fog enters. Not long after, small, soft needle-like drops begin to brush on faces and arms.
Then suddenly, rain begins to come on the sheets, blown into the shrouds by a nippy breeze. The fiery wind begins to wash away the rain violently; walls of raindrops falling towards the ground are rounded and tightly hung, blocking the front of the building, and wraps parked cars. A contrast of thick, warm air combined with tiny, cold raindrops causes goosebumps to activate the skin.
It is only now that I have been called ‘beautiful’ again after so many misfortunes I have faced in life. I prefer rainy days over sunny days because I find comfort in seeing raindrops, and the noise of the rain soothes me throughout the day. Several things influenced my views and how I came up with this judgment.
First, I refer as beautiful because it is pleasing to my eyes.
Second, seeing those drops synchronized gives me a satisfying and pleasing feeling.
Third, I always like the color of how to dream the grass in the plants shine when the raindrops fall on them.
So the most significant factor that influences me is the scenery, specifically the structure of the raindrops and how it blends and interacts with leaves and how it falls to the ground. For me, often, it gives me time to contemplate and to resonate with myself. Rainy days are the time that I like to look out the window.
The rainy weather was relaxing and soothing, and safe for me.
On the other hand, the sunny season gives me random anxiety, and I feel lazy for not being so productive.
I definitely like the rainy days. Because I wouldn’t say, I like sunshine too much. On rainy days, the weather is comfortable, and the temperature is quite nice.
On days like this, I sleep well, and my ability to think and evaluate increases on rainy days.
I personally feel that rainy days connect me to some of my inner soul.
And the fun, especially on school days. When the special rain came last season, everyone began to enjoy even the teachers.
I can still remember coming home from school with wet clothes and bags. That is really a different experience, but I enjoyed it a lot.
When the rain stops pouring, the natural feeling is refreshing. I just can’t express it, and when we walk on that cloudy day, we get small pools of water in just amazing ways.
Jumping into the water is pretty fun and nice to stay inside after literally drowning yourself in rainwater. This makes noodles, soup, tea, or any spicy or hot taste better for some reason. the heater feels better to use.
I personally expect rain whenever I see a cloudy sky, and as soon as I see small tiles outside with drops of water soaked in them, I fall prey. This is the best thing when it rains at night.
And, the rain is more relaxing than a scorching hot ball of sunniness.
I don’t know why I am, but I love the rain. If rain is a man, I will marry him. It’s a dream I can only see as a dream right now.
Plus, the thunder is alive. So is lightning.
Rain is everything. but, sunny weather has
Rainy days can mean two things, depending on how I feel.
I also love the feeling of rain on my face. I could say something utterly cheesy like, It feels like a thousand little kisses are being put on your skin, or something equally awful, but that’s dumb.
The storm is better expected for microbursts. I want to sit and watch the storm flow and hug myself to see how the wrath of nature remains arrogant.
We hear the cry of the wind and the rain of thrash. There is beauty in its power. I love how rain can be mild or destructive—giving life or flooding. When I want to shout to the world, the rain does that for me.
That house was wonderful and quiet. Now that it is only been me and myself, I can't seem to think that straight.
After a deep breath, I dropped my back on the soft bed while repeatedly hearing the loud hit of the rain somewhere.
