Chapter 3: CHAPTER THREE

IT WAS DIFFICULT to be the butler of a spoiled brat. That’s what Kylie immediately thought after she accompanied her young master in his schedules. Those schedules did not need her service especially and they only made visits that day. As for the case of her young master Joshua Carriedo, it was a bit different. She needed to be there just to make sure that the young man attended the social gatherings scheduled by his father. She felt that she was looking afte a seven-year-old brat because of the stress he gave her. She almost pointed a gun at the young man when he was unruly.

"Damn! I'm so fucking tired today," Joshua said as he laid his body on the bed. "Hey, Kyle come here!"

Being a perfect butler, Kylie obediently obeyed her young master, "Yes, Young Master?"

"Dress me up, I am too tired to move anymore," the young man said without hesitation to her.

Kylie raised an eyebrow before giving her reply, "You are just tired Young Master, not invalid. You can do what you ask me to do."

"WHAT ?! I thought you were going to follow me," Joshua said. "I am your young master!"

"Yes, I am your butler but I'm not stupid enough to do that thing that you can do on your own," Kylie said. "That's just laziness and stupidity."

"Really ?!" Joshua's the amused question.

"Yes, Young Master. Now if you can't stand up anymore, sleep like that," Kylie suggested angrily. "Good night, Young Master," she added before Joshua could throw a glass vase at her.

"Get out of my sight!"

Kylie bowed before she finally left the young man's room. She was tired by that time as well. She was trying her best to make sure she would not be able to kill the young man on the spot. She had certain rules as an assassin that she had been following for a long time.

"Thankfully, I know how to control myself," Kylie whispered to herself as she moved her tired body to the bed. "If I were just like Zeke who was brute, I'm sure you were dead."

AFTER few hours, Kylie heard a loud knock on her bedroom door. Even though she was still very drowsy she forced herself to get up to see who had disturbed his sleep.

"Kyle, Joshua isn't in his room," Don Emilio told her. "Do you know where he went?"

Kylie's senses woke up instantly. As far as she could remember, she left Joshua in his room. She was confident in leaving the young man in his room because she knew he was too tired from the social events and charities they went to as Don Emilio's representative.

"It seems like that one went to the bar again," Don Emilio said immediately. "He gives me headache!"

"Bar?" Kylie asked in an innocent manner.

"Yes and I am sure someone will call me later because he is involved in a fight," said Don Emilio.

"What's the name of the bar you're saying, Master? Maybe I know where it is located," Kylie said quickly.

Don Emilio's forehead furrowed as if he tried to remember the name of Joshua's favorite bar.

"I think he's at Kirkland Bar now, as usual," Don Emilio said immediately. "Do you know where it is located?"

"Yes Master, it's easy to go there," Kylie replied.

"Well then, go right away and fetch your young master before the bartender contacts me," Don Emilio said. "I have an important meeting tomorrow so I can't stay awake anymore."

"Yes Master."

Kylie just breathed a sigh of relief when the old Carriedo left. She scratched her head when she realized there were only a few minutes left before the clock would strike past midnight.

"He is really an asshole," Kylie said to herself, shaking her head. "Instead of resting, you did something else."

She knew Joshua would not come with her if she would still look like a butler in his sight. She had to look like a woman without anyone noticing to make sure the young man would go with her.

Thankfully, Zeke was still awake when she contacted him. He almost laughed at her when he found out about her new job. He told her to go to his condominium unit just to give a helping hand.

"You agreed to be the butler of a spoiled brat ?!" Zeke repeatedly asked the lady as she dressed in an empty room. "It's easier to kill than to work."

"Well, having the assurance of five million a month is enough for me to accept the job offered to me," Kylie replied as she adjusted herself in front of the mirror. "Fortunately, the clothes of your past lovers fit me."

"Seriously, did you told him you were a woman?" Zeke asked immediately.

"Do you think I would do this if my young master knows my real gender?” Kylie said. "You are also an assassin so you must know that I use my alias as a guy."

Zeke shook his head at what he heard, "There, there, Kylie Tanya Legazpi, thanks for reminding me."

"I know," Kylie said once in front of Zeke. "Don't sleep first, I'll take my young master here."

"No way!" Zeke immediately protested.

"Relax, I'll put him in sleep before I bring him here," Kylie replied. "No monkey business, promise."

Even before Zeke could speak, the lady assassin left him immediately. He was sure that there woul be seduction when Kylie picked up the young man. Well, a part of him wanted to get to know the young master of his friend.

Kylie reached Kirkland Bar quickly. As expected, she saw a lot of people during that time. She was irritated by the smoke that was in the air. It was still crowded inside so she had to push herself inside to look for her young master. When she got tired, he sat down on a stool. She made sure to scan the surroundings. Her eyes were trained in finding her target in a fast speed. She smirk when she saw her target.

"Sir, can you bring a scotch to the guy sitted at the corner?" Kylie immediately asked while pointing at Joshua.

"Sure Ma'am," the smiling bartender told her to which she returned with a sweet feminine smile.

Joshua was surprised when a shot of scotch arrived for him. He was wondering who ordered it for him as he never ordered anything like that. He was happy with a bucket of beer.

It was from a beautiful woman sitting near the counter," the bartender said immediately.

Joshua immensely turned to the woman. He just smiled when he saw the wink thrown at his sight. The woman knew how to get his attention.

"There's probably nothing wrong if I flirt with her, even for a moment," Joshua whispered to himself before he approached the woman he saw.

"Hi Miss," he said as soon as he sat beside the said maiden

"Hello," Kylie replied with a smile. "Good thing you got what I ordered for you."

“Well, that is unexpected,” Joshua said. "Wouldn't anyone be mad at me just in case?"

"Nothing, by the way, I'm Tanya. What's your name?" Kylie asked immediately.

"Joshua, Joshua Carriedo."

Kylie smiled, "You can join me here if you're not doing anything. Would you mind if I ask why you are here?"

"I am relieving some stress, you know, it's been a hectic day for me," Joshua replied. "How about you?"

“Just enjoying the night,” Kylie said. "Uhm, looking for a hookup?"

Joshua just smiled when Tanya said, "How about we spend the night together?"

"Where? Your place or mine? Kylie asked in a suggestive manner.

“Really, he is only waiting for a chance to get into my pants," Kylie reminded herself as she waited for Joshua's response.

"Well, we can spend the night in your place," Joshua said.

"Sure, let's drink. Let's enjoy this evening," Kylie said. "The night is still young."

Since Joshua was attracted to the girl next to him, he did not even notice that she was just getting him drunk. Even if he gave Tanya or Kylie a strong alcoholic drink, he wouldn't be able to get her drunk. Kylie was used to drinking, even hard drinks when because she was trained to manage her alcoholic tolerance. He did not see that she was putting sleeping pills in his drink.

It only took Kylie a few minutes for the medicine she mixed to work completely. A secret smirk flashed on her lips as she finally knocked the young man down due to drunkenness.

"You're weak at drinking, eh," Kylie said to herself with a smile. "I shouldn't have made an effort to look like a woman in your eyes because I could get you drunk."

"Bill please, I'll take care of him," she said immediately to the bartender.

"Sure Ma'am," the bartender replied to her.

When Kylie paid for what they drank, she immediately helped the young man out of the Bar. It was difficult for her to support the young man because he was still heavy on her and she was wearing heels at that time. She also did not know where the vehicle used by the young man was parked. She had no other choice but to put the young man on one side while she removed her heels. She also called Zeke to fetch them from Kirkland bar because she thought she could not afford to carry the young man alone.

"THAT'S what you get when you did not involve me in your grand plan" Zeke said as soon as Kylie asked him to help.

"That would ruin my plan if I included you," Kylie replied fixing the young man. "By the way, I will replace the pills you gave me."

"There is no need," Zeke replied. "I have my own resources. So what are we going to do with that one?"

"Leave him wearing that, just take the contents of his wallet and cellphone," Kylie said immediately. "I'm going to let him know that Tanya kidnapped him which is ..."

"... you also," the young man added. "Oh, if only I didn't know you."

Kylie smiled, "Just wait and see. All right, I'll get dressed first and I'm not comfortable in what I'm wearing."

"Go ahead. Just keep that in a place my current lover wants it back," Zeke said. "You will be giving me a difficult time if you do not return it to me ."

"Sure. I also don't want a trouble with another woman," Kylie replied. "I am already fine as a butler."

AS expected, a groan immediately came out of Joshua's lips when he woke up. His hangover WAS so strong that he did not immediately notice where he was. He was just surprised when a man entered the room where he slept. He jumped out of bed.

"Relax, I'm not here to punch you," Zeke said to the young man. "I'm Kyle's friend."

"Huh ?! Kyle again ?! All I know is -"

"You were robbed last night because you were drunk," Zeke said quickly. "Just thank your butler as he did not let you sleep in the middle of the road."

"What the fuck are you talking about?" Joshua asked while looking for his cellphone.

"Drink this coffee to get rid of your headache," Zeke said immediately noticing the movement Joshua was doing in every pocket of his clothes. "Kyle will wait for you outside."

Confused, Joshua just accepted the coffee given to him by the young man. He needed it especially now, his head was splitting apart due to hangover. The last thing he remembered was a woman who acted like his drinking buddy. Kyle did not even show up to him so he could not understand why he did not have the lady lying next to him in bed.

“Please tell Kyle to wait for me outside,” Joshua said.

"He already knows that," Zeke replied before he went out.

Joshua just sighed deeply when Zeke left. He was confused because all he knew was that Tanya was with him and not Kyle. She doesn't even remember the 'young man' picking her up.

"I'll just ask that asshole later," Joshua said to himself.
