Chapter 249: The New Studio Is Set Up

Luca could tell what she was thinking right away. He looked down with a smile, his voice soft: "What are you thinking? Afraid I'll get too involved?"

Olivia looked up at him, a bit embarrassed: "I just... want to try it on my own. I don't want people saying I got it because of you."

"Who cares what they say." Luca replied like it was no big deal, reaching out to ruffle her hair. "I'm picking the spot and setting up the equipment because I don't want you working too hard. Not to make decisions for you. How you design it, what projects you take, who you work with—that's all up to you. I won't interfere."

Linus sat on the bed and heard everything clearly. He nodded with a smile: "That's right. Olivia's got real talent. No need to hide it or rely on anyone. She can stand on her own. Luca, don't meddle too much. Just support her."

Olivia felt a warmth in her heart, her nose tingling a bit. Back then, she'd always been careful in this family, afraid of messing up, afraid of being looked down on, afraid people would say she didn't deserve Luca. But now Grandpa doted on her, Luca trusted her, and she was starting to stand steady herself.

"Thanks, Grandpa. Thanks, Luca," she said softly.

Leo was lying by the bed, looking up with his little face: "Mommy, I want to go to your studio toro! I want to watch you draw jewelry!"

"Sure." Olivia smiled and bent down to pinch his cheek. "Once Mommy gets it ready, you'll be the first one I bring."

Over the next few days, Luca kept his word and didn't meddle in the studio stuff. He just quietly got everything set up.

He had his assistant check out the best spots in downtown, picking a building with the best light, most privacy, and close to home. He took the whole floor.

The interior was done in Olivia's favorite style—simple and upscale, with plenty of light. One side was all floor-to-ceiling windows with a view of the city skyline.

The design desk, computer, drawing tablet, jewelry display cases, prototyping gear—all top brands in the industry. Even the sofa, coffee maker, and snacks in the break area were picked to her tastes.

When the assistant handed over the keys, he smiled: "Ma'am, the boss has been looking at design plans every night, worried it wouldn't suit you."

Olivia held the keys, her fingertips warm.

She was touched, but she'd gotten used to not relying on anyone. Luca kept showing her with actions that she could lean on him.

On the day they moved into the studio, Emma was the first to show up. She gasped as soon as she walked in: "Olivia, this is insane! This isn't a studio—it's every designer's dream heaven!"

Olivia smiled and showed her around: "I didn't expect it to be this nice."

"That's your Luca spoiling you." Emma winked. "I heard he bought the whole floor outright. Gear is all luxury top-tier, and the team is poached pros. You're basically set to be a top name in the industry now."

Olivia's face felt hot, but she didn't argue.

That night, after the family had dinner with Linus, while the caregiver cleaned up, Luca suddenly took Olivia's hand.

His move was natural but a bit serious.

Olivia looked up at him, puzzled.

Luca cleared his throat, seeming a little shy, but his eyes were serious: "Before... I did propose to you."

"But we never had the actual wedding." Luca looked at her, voice low. "All that old stuff is behind us. Now the family's all together, Grandpa's awake, Leo's here... Let's make up the wedding, okay?"

Olivia's heart skipped a beat.

The wedding.

Linus heard it all and immediately smiled: "Yes! It's about time! Make it big and grand, so everyone knows Olivia is the proper mistress of the Vettel family!"

Leo looked up, not getting all of it, but knowing weddings were good. He clapped: "Yay! Mommy in a pretty dress! Daddy in cool clothes!"

Olivia saw the nervous hope in Luca's eyes, Grandpa's happy face, Leo bouncing around. Her heart melted.

All the hurts, hardships, and late nights suddenly felt worth it.

She nodded gently, her voice soft but clear: "Okay."

Luca let out a big breath, like he'd finished something huge. He pulled her into a tight hug.

"Thank you." He buried his face in her neck, voice rough. "I'll treat you right from now on. No more letting you suffer even a little."

Olivia closed her eyes, wrapped her arms around his waist, and couldn't stop her smile.

Once the wedding was set, prep kicked into high gear.

Luca wanted everything top-notch but let Olivia call all the shots. Venue, decor, schedule, guest list—all her choice. He just made sure it all got done smooth, no stress for her.

Olivia insisted on designing her own wedding gown and jewelry.

It was the most important piece of her life. She'd do it herself.

The night before the wedding, Leo was too excited to sleep, running around in his little suit pajamas.

"Mommy, tomorrow I'm the ring bearer!"

"Yeah." Olivia smiled and fixed his collar. "Be good tomorrow. No running off."

"I know!" Leo patted his chest. "I'll hold Mommy's ring! Protect Mommy!"

Luca leaned in the doorway, watching them with eyes full of softness.

He walked over and hugged Olivia from behind: "Nervous?"

"A little." she admitted.

"Don't be." Luca kissed her forehead. "Tomorrow just walk to me. I'll handle the rest."

Olivia leaned into him, feeling totally at ease.

The next morning, news spread everywhere: Vettel Group CEO Luca was having a grand wedding with Olivia.

The venue was a seaside private estate, facing the ocean, surrounded by flowers. White roses lined the path, and the air smelled sweet.

Friends and family from around the world, business partners, industry bigshots, family elders—all showed up. Every seat filled.

Security was tight, the vibe formal but warm.

Linus sat in the front in a sharp suit, looking great, smiling the whole time. He'd turn to old friends now and then: "That's my granddaughter-in-law. The best one."

Everyone waited for the bride.

Music started slow, and the crowd went quiet.

The doors opened.

Olivia stood there in her self-designed gown—light, clean, stunning.

No heavy makeup, no bold colors. She just stood quietly, but grabbed every eye.

Step by step, she walked the flower-lined aisle.

The breeze lifted her veil and everyone's attention.

Luca stood at the front in a perfectly tailored suit, tall and straight, eyes locked on her.
