Chapter 42
Aria
Hunter led me downstairs with his hand resting on my lower back as we passed the corridors.
I had no bloody idea how the fuck I was even able to walk after this werewolf had literally drained all energy out of me just fifteen minutes ago. The flashbacks were still making me blush profusely each time they passed through my remembrances and Hunter didn't seem to miss any of the reactions that'd occur.
And his response? That one twitch of the corner of his lips only.
Of course, he was well aware of his effect on me.
"By the way, Pink suits you a lot." He whispered lowering his head and his warm breath fanned my neck.
My cheeks burned in embarrassment. He knew what he was doing.
I cleared my throat trying to come up with anything to say but my lack of words gave him a chance to speak once again.
"Not only this blush but also your beautiful parts. To be specific, your....." He paused for a second, meanwhile a smirk took over his face, "Sweet cunt."
My mouth hung open in disbelief. I closed and open my mouth a few times to actually make myself believe what he'd just said to me.
"You have got no shame at all!" I exclaimed and looked away from him as I attempted to walk away but it was the only step that I had taken when Hunter grabbed me and pressed me against the wall.
I gasped in surprise due to the sudden movement that left my whole world spinning for a brief moment.
"Yes, you are right. I have got no shame," He said, his voice sounding deeper, "And trust me I'd be willing to leave even the last drops of it even you'd let me take you back into that bedroom and fuck you till the sun goes down."
Holy shit!
He did not know what he was doing to me by saying those things.
My heartbeats picked up a pace and a bolt of sparks sent jolts to my whole body. The wetness between my thighs that I was trying to not become evident at least told my dilemma much better.
"I'd be very much willing to fill you up from all holes and let the ache last between your beautiful thighs rather than attending these pack gatherings, if only you'd let me do it, Aria." And he spoke again still keeping me locked under his intense gaze.
'God, save me.'
"No need to pray, baby," His husky chuckle broke through.
Damn, I'd mistakenly said it out loud.
"I-I...." Hunter interrupted before I could finish my sentence.
"And you know why?" His deep voice made the goosebumps crawl up and the heat entrenched my skin.
I shook my head in response, I was sure he loud hear my loud heartbeats.
And then he leaned closer to my face causing my breathing to hitch, "Because once your heat comes, none will be able to stop me from making you mine." His darkened eyes told me it was his wolf who took over.
It was not just a sentence, it was a promise that was beneath it—A promise he was going to fulfill at any cost.
"Tell me, do you think anything would be able to stop me?" The very known smirk that spread on his lips triggered another shiver to run down my spine.
He knew what my answer would be and that was why I could see the satisfaction of victory gleaming in his eyes.
Nothing could ever stop Hunter Rodriguez if he once decided to achieve something. And in his eyes the only target was me.
"We...we should start walking. Everyone is probably waiting for us." I finally managed to say something.
He seemed in no mood to let go of me but he too was aware of the situation that instead of messing with each other there were much more crucial tasks ahead of us.
"Yeah, you are right," he dryly licked his bottom lips, eyeing me up and down, "Let's go." He grabbed my hand and headed out of the corridors.
Whilst his eyes were not on me, I took the opportunity to finally let myself relax and exhale a sigh.
'Calm down, Aria. Your heat is still far away. Or maybe it isn't...'
God! I needed to stop thinking so much!
As Hunter and I walked down the stairs, I began to notice the unfamiliar faces who were the members of the Deadcrest pack.
Noticing our arrival, the members bowed in front of us to which Hunter quickly motioned them to stand up.
"Good morning, everyone," He began, "So, you all have already been introduced to the members of Deadcrest. I hope every one of you will try their best to make their stay as comfortable as possible."
"Alpha Daniel, and Luna Shirley. Thanks for trusting us with your safety," He looked at the couple standing in the middle.
Luna Shirley had jet black hair and beautiful blue eyes that resembled the color of the sea whilst Alpha Daniel's hair was light brown and almond-shaped hazel eyes.
I was on my way to greet them when a pair of small arms wrapped around my hips causing me to freeze on the spot in surprise.
"Luna's so pretty." A cute voice broke through directing my attention to the adorable little girl who hugged me.
A smile replaced my expression automatically and I crouched down to pick her up in my arms.
"Hey there," I couldn't help leaning in and placing a kiss on her fluffy cheek.
"Luna, are you a fairy?" She looked at me in awe causing laughter to tore from my throat.
"What's your name, love?"
"Violet."
"Such a pretty name," I smiled and nuzzled her nose earning a cute small laugh from her, "So, Violet. The answer is No— I am not a fairy but I think you are."
"Really?" Her doe eyes lit up in joy.
I nodded in response and she clapped in excitement, "Mom, dad! Luna called me a Fairy." she looked at Shirley and Daniel. It was then I realized that she was their daughter.
God has indeed blessed them with such an adorable little angel.
"Yeah? And I can see, you are already getting fond of the Luna. Huh?" Her mother smiled and walked toward us.
"Yes, she is so....pretty!" She exclaimed resting her hands on her cheeks.
"You are even prettier," Hunter smiled lowering his head to look at her and tapping on her nose to which she emitted a cute giggle.
"Welcome to the Silvercrest pack, Luna Shirley," I smiled at her.
"Thanks for supporting us in this crucial moment, we'll forever be grateful for it." She smiled back.
"Yeah, if it wasn't you and warriors...maybe we wouldn't have survived this storm." Alpha Daniel walked over to us.
"Daniel, Shirley, you both don't need to thank us for anything. It was our responsibility to help you." Hunter said.
Once again the appreciation shone in Daniel and Shirley's eyes.
"Let's hope that we all would be able to keep our members safe and save our packs," I spoke and both Daniel and Shirley nodded in agreement.
"Luna, will you fight those rouges?" Violet asked, "They snatched Mila from me."
"Mila?"
"Yes, Mila— My favorite doll." The sadness roofed her features and my eyes softened.
That motherfucking Knight and his rouges. I'd fucking kill them.
"Don't worry, baby," I cupped her face in my one hand, tracing my thumb over her rosy cheek, "We all would teach those rouges a lesson for snatching your doll from you. And you know what I have lots of dolls that you can play with and name them, how does that sound?"
I could vaguely remember having all my dolls stored in the trunk in my bedroom; The trunk was an extra step I had taken so that none could steal them from me, especially my mom who was making excuses of lack of space so that she could get them out of our house.
"Really? You'll give them to me?" Violet asked, happiness was written all over her face.
"Yes, I will." I smiled and this time she launched herself at me, peppering my whole face with kisses.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!"
I heard her parents and Hunter bursting into a peal of laughter along with me, watching the excitement of Violet.
But among all these happening, There was something unusual I felt too that I decided to ignore—Someone's stare burning holes in my skin.
