Chapter 13: No Possibility of Being Alive
Upon seeing the familiar yet annoying face, Michael's eyes turned cold, and a chilling aura showed.
"Who allowed you to come here? Get out."
It was she who impulsively provoked William last night, and this morning, William kept crying for Jennifer and didn't even eat breakfast, causing him to faint.
If it wasn't for her, would there be all these troubles?
Michael's anger grew even more fierce, as the cold in his eyes could kill her on the spot.
Jessica had already anticipated such a result, feeling scared and remorseful at the same time. Tears streamed down her face as she humbly begged before Michael, "Michael, I was wrong."
"Last night, I truly didn't mean to. I have earnestly reflected on it. When I found out William was hospitalized due to illness, my heart broke too. Please, let me accompany him."
Jessica was now so anxious that she couldn't spare any other thoughts, desperately seeking forgiveness from Michael.
Otherwise, her plan would be in vain.
She just cried, her cries getting louder and louder like thunder on a summer night.
Michael was extremely annoyed by her crying, too lazy to say another word, and he directly ordered, "Robby, escort her out."
As soon as he spoke, Robby and the bodyguards came in, dragging Jessica out.
"Michael, don't. I am William's biological mother, and no one can replace the feeling of a biological mother."
But no matter how she cried out, Jessica was thrown out directly by the bodyguards at the hospital gate.
Just then, a familiar voice suddenly sounded in her ear.
"Sweetie, I’m at the door."
This voice?
Why was it so familiar?
In Jessica's mind, a face that was both extremely familiar and extremely loathsome suddenly appeared.
Jennifer?
No, this was impossible. Jennifer died five years ago, and it was absolutely impossible for her to still be alive.
It must be just a coincidence.
But even so, Jessica suddenly felt her heart in turmoil, vaguely sensing that something bad was about to happen.
She must see for herself who that woman was.
With that in mind, she turned and rushed back to the ward.
Shouting at Robby blocking the door, "Let me in."
Robby responded politely, "Mr. Whitfield has ordered that you are not allowed to enter the ward. Mrs. Sibbett, please go back."
"I am William's mother. Who dares to stop me?"
Furious, Jessica seemed to have forgotten to disguise her arrogance and rudeness.
Robby remained polite, "We are just following Mr. Whitfield's orders. Mrs. Sibbett, please go back."
"I insist on going in."
Jessica's eyes widened, disregarding her image, and she pulled at Robby and the bodyguards to rush in.
"Get out of my way. I am going in."
"Nobody can stop me."
"All of you move aside."
For a moment, chaos erupted at the door.
"Can't even stop a woman?"
Amidst the ongoing commotion, the door of the ward creaked open.
Michael appeared at the door, his face as cold as an iceberg, staring at Jessica like an enraged tiger, as if ready to devour her.
"Michael, I..."
"Shut her mouth and throw her out."
Before Jessica could finish speaking, Michael's cold voice interrupted her. His eyes were sharp like knives. Robby immediately covered Jessica's mouth and dragged her out as if dragging a dead dog.
"Let go of me..."
"..."
Jessica's arms were pinned, her breathing hindered by the mouth being covered, her face turning red with suffocation.
Her tear-filled eyes were full of resentment.
Just then, a figure suddenly flashed in front of her.
