Chapter 39

A scream left Ashley's mouth as she faced her worst nightmare. There stood Tatiana with a smirk on her face, “I’ve waited such a long time to do this, and let me tell you it feels good,” she said taking a step forward as Ashley moved back, “You know we could’ve been really good friends if you had stayed in your lane,” she said as she continued to walk towards Ashley, who stepped back every time in fear.

“M-Maybe it’s for the best, I didn’t want to be f-friends with a psychotic bitch anyway,” Ashley said as Tatiana’s jaw clenched, “You shouldn’t be talking a load of bullshit Ashley, you should be begging for your life,” she said as Ashley stepped back before bumping into the balcony door causing Tatiana to smirk.

“You ain’t going anyway honey so you better start praying,” she said as something caught Ashley’s attention. It was the picture frame of her and her father, she was running out of time as she waited patiently for Tatiana to get closer to her, “Hm, I wish Jake was here to see you die, but Jay is busy having fun with him,” she said snapping Ashley out of her thoughts.

“No, please don’t hurt him,” she said as Tatiana rolled her eyes, “Ugh, you sound so in love, it disgusts me,” she said taking an unexpected step catching Ashley off guard as Tatiana wrapped her hand around Ashley’s throat, “But it’s too bad that either of you would be able to love each other since you’re going to die,” she said in a sinister tone tighten her grip around Ashley’s neck as Ashley’s eyes widened while her hand quickly grabbed onto Tatiana’s wrist.

Tatiana gritted through her teeth as she squeezed harder around Ashley’s neck causing her face to turn red. Ashley tried to not overwork herself to make the situation worse, the picture frame again caught her attention as she tried to reach for it. Tatiana noticed Ashley’s sudden act as she squeezed harder around her neck causing Ashley to grip onto her wrist once again but continued to reach for the object.

Tatiana tried to move her hand, but Ashley suddenly kicked her where the sun doesn’t shine causing Tatiana’s grip to loosen allowing Ashley to grab the frame before turning towards Tatiana, who was holding her crotch, “Surprise bitch!” She said before smashing the frame against her face causing Tatiana to collapse on the floor.

Ashley exhaled loudly before looking down at the broken picture frame, "Hm, thanks for your help, daddy," she said kissing the picture before shoving it in her back pocket before stepping over Tatiana's body.

As she was on her way to the door, she suddenly felt a grip on her ankle causing her to sigh in annoyance, "I'm not done with you, you tramp," Tatiana weakly said as Ashley rolled her eyes, "Bitch, I've been done with your ass a long time ago," Ashley said before stomping Tatiana in the face before opening the door.

Ashley was met with darkness as she gulped. Jake's door was wide open and filled with darkness, "Jake!" Ashley whispered-yelled as she stepped into the dark hall. Noise was suddenly heard downstairs as Ashley raced down almost breaking her leg on the way.

Two figures were ramping in the living room knocking over everything around as Ashley stood by the entrance trying to figure out what to do, "Stop it both of you!" She yelled as the two individuals froze before turning around slowly, "Well, if it isn't my baby girl, I'm glad you're here," Jay said holding Jake tightly in a headlock blocking his air track, "Stop, you're going to kill him," Ashley said as she took a step forward causing Jay to take a step back with his arm wrapped around Jake's head.

"That's the plan, baby and I suggest you stay right where you are," he said moving backward as Ashley's eyes welled up with tears, "Please don't do this Jay," she pleaded as Jay's eyes soften as well as his grip, "Why him, Ash?" He asked as Ashley sniffed before looking at Jake, "I don't know, I couldn't help but fall in love with him," she said as Jay scoffed, "You're pathetic, Ashley, I'm so much better than him, I treated you better than him and you still chose him," he said as Ashley bite her bottom lip, "Look, Jay, I'm sorry that I hurt you but this isn't going to solve anything," she said as Jay nodded with a bitter smile.

"You're right it wouldn't solve anything," he said as Ashley sent him a small smile which immediately faded as Jay smirked, "But, it would be fun watching this asshole die," he said as he was about to tighten his grip but since Ashley distracted him, it gave Jake an advantage as he quickly escaped from Jay hold. Jay quickly threw a few punches at Jake, who skillfully dodge it, having Jay spinning in circles.

Jake saw an opportunity as Jay stood facing the busted window. He acted quickly and immediately tackled Jay as they both flew out the window.

Ashley panicked as no sound from both individuals was heard, "Jake!" She shouted to only get a groan in return as she gasped before quickly turning around to exit out the house through the front door.

The moment she turned around, she froze in her spot as her breath got caught in her throat. Her heart began to pound in her chest as her palms began to sweat.

The person in front of her smirked as blood ran down from her nose and her busted lip. In her hand clenched an open lighter as Ashley raised her hands in surrender, "Tatiana, what are you doing?" Ashley asked as Tatiana laughed, "What does it look like I'm doing, I'm sending us both to hell," she said glancing at the lighted fire in her hand, "I don't see the reason for staying here, and I know I'm going to hell, so why not bring you with me," she said with a smirk on her face as Ashley shook her head.

"I remembered my exact words being, Ashley, if you play with fire, you'll get burned, you'll burn really bad."
