Chapter 24

I was stunned for some reason and all the events since I saw and met Darren flashed back in my brain one by one.

"There's nothing wrong with hoping that someone will reciprocate the love you gave and made him feel, right?" and there it goes. My tears fell one by one.

"There's nothing wrong but if you feel like it's too much and you can't take it anymore, it's not bad to stop and break up" he caught my attention and I saw that he was looking at me sincerely so I could look at him properly. His eyes are full of worry.

He was just looking at me as if he wanted to say a lot but he couldn't say it while his eyes almost said everything because his eyes were unable to speak because he had no voice.

"A-aiden..." I want to ask him if...

"It's not too late, Destiny. You can still back out from the pain in this world? You can still escape" he put both his hands on my shoulders and looked directly at me causing my forehead to frown at what he said.

"W-what are you talking about, Aiden? My, are you sick? Did you eat something wrong?" I asked him a few questions and tried to remove his hands from my shoulders, but even though I removed his hands, he kept looking at me.

"You can still escape the pain, Destiny. Just trust me because in the first place you shouldn't exist in this world--" I didn't hear what Aiden said because a man approached me and asked for forgiveness.

I don't understand everything. He apologized because he pointed me to the paparazzi. I was surrounded by so many paparazzi that you could barely see the students who were passing by.

"Destiny, can you tell a story?"

"How long has he been hiding your relationship with Darren?"

"Are you the answer to all of Darren's prayers?"

I looked around, hoping to see Aiden because when the paparazzi arrived, he just disappeared. I looked around and couldn't really find him. I tried to walk too, but I couldn't move because of the crowd.

So I just let out a sigh while surrounded by paparazzi.

What should I do?

After that incident, I got out of the crowd. Fortunately, a guard came and sent the paparazzi away while I was running around every building and every room of the school just to find Aiden. Where can he go? And what is he saying?

"You can still escape the pain, Destiny. Just trust me because in the first place you shouldn't exist in this world--" I immediately felt a headache when I remembered what Aiden said.

What is he saying? Escape the pain? Shouldn't exist? What is he saying?

I held on to the wall as I felt my head hurt more and more. I closed my eyes tightly when I felt it. That pain that feels like you're squeezing your head and hitting it somewhere.

I will scream in so much pain. I was able to hold on to my senses to somehow reduce the pain.

"Cupid, believe me they will break up too!" I said while pointing to that couple inside a house and the man was watching TV while the woman was texting with another man.

Cupid just shook his head and looked at the couple that I just pointed out.

"What a relationship wrecker! C'mon, Destiny, they're just going to fight but it doesn't mean they're going to break up" Cupid said with a smile but I just looked at him with a frown.

"Are you challenging me? I told you I already know what will happen. It's obvious, right?" and I pointed out again to the woman who is now laughing at the text messages she receives while her boyfriend is simply showing his jaw and secretly glancing at his girlfriend and for any second he is about to hang up the girlfriend's phone and throw it somewhere.

"You may know but you can't be sure. Only God can know everything." I just kept quiet at what he said and just let the lovers watch and I was not wrong because the man grabbed the woman's phone and it was destroyed and fell on the ground.

I looked at Cupid with a smirk and then I waved my hand causing someone to knock on the door.

"Told ya" I promised with a smirk.

What's happening? Why do I have such a vision? I just fell to the floor for reasons I can't explain, as if in that vision, all my strength seemed to be absorbed.

Which in the first time of my life, I have to question myself, who am I anyway?

"Good thing, I'm in the library and someone tells me that there is a concerned citizen who said something started here at the clinic! What happened? Are you okay--" I didn't let him finish because I had already spoken. I put my hand on my forehead and just bent down and slowly closed my eyes.

"Do you know me Akia? I paused and slowly raised my eyes and I just looked at Akia with no emotion. I saw a tremor in her eyes, perhaps brought by fear.

"Do you really know me? Can you tell me who I really am?" I asked him trembling.

I want to beg but I can't. I want to know everything but my body doesn't seem to want to move.

"Are you okay, Des? Do you have a fever? Wait.." and he stood up for a moment to call the nurse. "I'll just call the nurse--" but I didn't let him finish what he was saying because I immediately grabbed his wrist causing him to stop and be shocked.

"I want to know myself. Who am I, Akia? Who is Fate Destiny?" I begged him.
