The door slammed open, startling the red head inside the room. 

"Oh, it's just you." 

The red haired sighed in relief, taking his time to calm himself after seeing his friend. 

"What do you mean, it's just you Jaden? Why didn't I know about this?" 

Alex roared, again making Jaden to lose his composure again. He gave Alex a confused look and raised his eyebrows to ask what he was talking about. 

"Austin. About him, why was this kept from me? If Derik hadn't reported to me, I would have still been in the shadows." 

"Derik reported to you?! Jeremy messed up again." He mumbled the last part. 

But Alex caught on "Oh so if Jeremy hadn't messed up, I wouldn't have known even now? Jaden, he tried to get Eva! Do you know how serious this matter is? It's not the time to play secrets." 

Alex pulled his hair backward, frustrated at his friend's action.

"It is serious, that's why it was kept a secret from you." 

Jaden calmly responded.

"What? You are still going on about that? Where is he now? Tell me his location." 

Alex slammed his hands on the table.

"We are still tracking him down and even if I knew, I wouldn't have given it to you, not without a plan." Jaden replied with the same level of aggression.

"Why not? I have the right to know." 

"We have a reason, okay? Last time you literally went on a rampage like a violent beast. What would have happened if your father didn't step in? You would have ended up like Edison or even worse dead." 

Jaden retorted, totally giving up on all the bullshit Alex was spewing. 

"That would be my problem. What right does it give you to keep it from me?" 

"What right? Seriously?” He scoffed in disbelief. “You are our friend and that gives us every right to stop you from jumping to your death. You think we can bear to see another of our friends be like Edi, we can't. And now this isn't only about you, Eva is your responsibility too. So, cool your head, don't do anything reckless." 

Alex pulled his hair back in frustration, failing to say anything back as he knew every word Jaden said was the truth. He would have already done something reckless.

Without a single word he dashed out of the room. Just like that he was gone.

A few moments later... 

Eva was still waiting for Alex to come home. She even asked the maids when he would return, but they didn't know. The way they told her was suspicious, but either way she just let it go.

After an eternity of waiting, Alex arrived—correction—a drunk Alex arrived with a girl on his side supporting him. 

Alex stopped at his step when he saw Eva. Of course, he did not expect her to stay until 2 am just to wait for him when he clearly told the maids to make sure Eva sleeps before he arrives. 

"What ar—" 

"I have something to tell you." She said as she took a long breath. Nothing mattered now, she just has to confess to Alex no matter what. Even though the timing was not right, and it was obvious she was going to be rejected. 

Not for her but for Eric. He was so stressed out that he started having hair fall and looked like 40s 50s uncles. 

Alex just gave her the sign to go on while he removed his hands from the side chick. "I am sorry. I-I." 

"You are sorry for what? Got pregnant and got STD at the same time or what? Why are you being so nervous?" He said losing his patience.
