Chapter 76: Supporting Her Ascension

Victoria wasted no time and hopped into the car.

The rich aroma of leather enveloped her as she grabbed the steering wheel, relishing its plush feel.

Nathaniel made his way around to the passenger side and settled in.

His commanding presence seemed to shrink the roomy car interior.

Victoria fired up the engine cautiously, and the beast purred softly.

"Let's take this baby for a spin," Nathaniel suggested.

As Victoria turned the wheel, she inquired, "Where are we headed?"

"Just drive, I'll direct you," Nathaniel responded.

Following his brief cues, Victoria maneuvered the hefty G out of the estate.

Glancing in the rearview mirror, Victoria spotted a nondescript black sedan parked outside.

Sam was behind the wheel, his good looks masked by a stoic expression, tailing them steadily.

Victoria understood Sam was their guardian.

She concentrated on the road, while Nathaniel reclined in his seat, appearing to doze off.

The night air breezed in through the cracked window, tousling Victoria's hair.

She refrained from asking about their destination, obediently following Nathaniel's lead.

Leaving the city behind, the car climbed the twisting mountain road toward Seaglow City.

The path grew narrower and steeper. Finally, at a scenic overlook atop the mountain, Nathaniel instructed, "Pull over."

Victoria brought the car to a gentle stop.

Sam's vehicle discreetly parked around a nearby bend, blending into the shadows.

From their elevated position, Seaglow City glistened on one side, while the city lights dazzled on the other.

Nathaniel paid no mind to the view. Instead, he raised his hand, gesturing towards a dark area on the outskirts.

"Check that out," he pointed out.

Following his indication, Victoria spotted a secluded compound, expansive and enclosed by towering walls.

Even in the dead of night, she could discern the moving beams of searchlights along the perimeter and the faint silhouettes of watchtowers.

It resembled a heavily guarded military stronghold.

"When I'm not at the villa, you'll find me here," Nathaniel's voice pierced the night's silence, carrying a subtle undertone of emotion.

"This is my turf."

Victoria's heart skipped a beat.

She immediately grasped the significance of the location – the true heart of Genesis Corporation, the bedrock of Nathaniel's authority.

These were secrets he had never shared.

A shiver ran down her spine as she nervously inquired, "Mr. Cross... why have you brought me here?"

Nathaniel finally turned to her, his deep black eyes locking onto hers in the dim light.

Instead of addressing her question, he reached out, his calloused fingertips lightly tracing her cheek, gliding from her temple to her jawline.

The touch sent a wave of tingles through her, rendering her motionless.

He smirked, a suggestive gleam in his eyes.

"You already know what to do, don't you?" he murmured in a low, intimate tone laced with a compelling force.

"Victoria, I can tell you're a sharp and driven woman."

"Rather than clawing your way up alone," he gripped her chin, compelling her to meet his gaze, "let me personally show you the ropes."

Victoria's heart raced like a drum, her fingers gripping the steering wheel tightly.

Nathaniel's imposing presence filled the space in the passenger seat, his stern features sharply defined in the darkness, emanating authority with his broad shoulders and solid chest.

His intense stare bore into her, like a predator sizing up its prey.

"Th-thanks, Mr. Cross," she stammered, her voice quivering as she struggled to keep her cool.

But Nathaniel's proposal was abrupt and risky – taking her deep into the core of Genesis Corporation?

Or had he caught wind of her plans to set up an intelligence outfit?

Nathaniel stayed silent.

He reached out, his firm hand grasping the nape of Victoria's neck, pulling her closer.

Victoria's breath hitched, her delicate features bathed in moonlight.

The desire in Nathaniel's gaze was all too recognizable to her.

She leaned in, acquiescing.

Her slim, toned physique exuded both fragility and power, her muscles well-defined.

Nathaniel's fingertips brushed her chin, rough and commanding.

"You could also dive into the group's activities. That gal under your wing, Karen, she's doing great," he remarked.

Victoria was momentarily puzzled, then alert.

It seemed Nathaniel aimed to boost her up.

"What field of work are you interested in? I'll make it happen," he offered.

"I... I'm not sure yet," she confessed softly, uncertain of her capabilities at the moment.

"Give me a heads-up when you figure it out," Nathaniel's eyes narrowed, leaning in closer, his warm breath tickling her ear like a wave of heat.

He suddenly captured her lips, insistent and urgent.

Victoria instinctively wanted to push him away, but his hold on her waist was firm, drawing her nearer.

Her lithe yet strong body writhed in his grip, attempting to resist but overpowered by his might.

The kiss deepened, Nathaniel's tongue pushing forcefully, carrying hints of tobacco and alcohol.

Victoria's breath quickened.

She responded, her hands roaming his broad chest, the muscles beneath as hard as a rock.

"Mr. Cross, we're in the car..." she reminded between gasps, her eyes teary, cheeks flushed, "Sam is close by."

But Nathaniel didn't pause. His hand slid down, tugging at her neckline, exposing her delicate collarbones.

"It's been a while, and you still don't take charge?" his voice husky, authoritative, "Strip."

Victoria nibbled her lip, realizing resistance was futile, opting to comply.

She leaned down, her hands undoing his belt.

His heated member sprang free, sturdy and potent, mirroring Nathaniel's untamed nature.

She parted her lips, taking him in.

Her tongue swirled, her warm mouth engulfing his stiff member.

Nathaniel released a low growl, reclining, his large hand gripping the back of her head.

"Keep going," he ordered, his voice laced with satisfied sighs.

Victoria continued, gently sucking on the tip.

Nathaniel let out a deep, muffled groan.

His fingers tangled in Victoria's hair, pushing her head down firmly, guiding his rigid member into her throat.

Victoria fought the urge to gag, her throat throbbing, but she held on.

The discomfort made her throat contract violently, only heightening Nathaniel's pleasure.

"Victoria, you've gotten quite skilled," Nathaniel praised, unable to resist acknowledging her progress.

Then, he guided Victoria's head, rhythmically moving his hips, creating a wet, continuous sound.

Saliva dripped from Victoria's mouth uncontrollably.

Not far off, Sam's car remained concealed in the dark corner.

His handsome yet inexperienced face slightly flushed under the glow of the dashboard lights.
