Chapter 139: Bliss

I slowly opened my eyes to meet total darkness. I sat up on the bed and stretched. My back and pussy were aching. It wasn’t the painful kind of arching. It felt more like a sweet pain. I stretched again to relieve the strain in my muscle and lower back. My eyes gradually started adjusting to the darkness.

My face flushed as the memory of my afternoon with Mr. Brett flooded in. I smiled and covered my face with my palms. I would be so embarrassed to look him in the eyes again.

I couldn’t see but I could tell I was the only one in the room. I stretched my hand to my side, to confirm. Mr. Brett wasn’t there.

I could see rays of light seeping in through little openings of the door. That meant that Mr. Brett was around. My heart skipped a bit with the thought of having to go out to meet him. It was inevitable, so there was no point in delaying.

I stretched my legs out of the bed and stood up. I still felt too weak to carry my own weight. How long did I sleep? And wasn’t it enough to regain my strength? After a tiring search, I was able to find my shirt and jeans. I put them on without my undies. Trying to look for those would be a fruitless search. I needed light to see properly.

I walked slowly to the door, conscious of the fading sensation in between my legs. I opened the door and was engulfed with brightness. I covered my eyes and waited for it to adjust to the sudden light.

When I could see without my eyes hurting, I headed for the sitting room. The television was on, but Mr. Brett wasn’t there. I heard some noises coming from somewhere in the apartment. I followed it and found myself in the kitchen.

My breath seized as soon as I sighted Mr. Brett. He was just in jeans, the upper part of his body completely bare and shirtless. He was cooking. The sight just melted my heart and I fell deeper for him if that was even possible. After that mind-blowing and hot sex, I felt I had gotten to the depth at which I can fall for him.

He was backing me, so I took my time to entertain my eyes with the sight of his muscles flexing as he worked. I sucked in a breath when he turned around. The bright lights of the kitchen complemented his body so well. He was shining like some kind of diamond! How was that possible?! Or was it just my exaggerated imagination? Every part of his body was well defined. His packs. Oh! his packs! Don’t get me started on his packs.

I gulped and unwillingly withdrew my eyes from his body to the floor. Would it be shameless of me if I admit that I want him on top of me right this instant?

“You’re finally up angel,” he said and I looked up at him. He spread out his arms for me and I didn’t hesitate to go over. I wanted to feel his body at the moment more than anything else. He held me in a loose hug and I placed my head on his chest.

He stroked my hair gently and placed his jaw on my head. I wanted this particular moment to last forever.

“What’s the time?” I asked, raising my head to look at him.

“The last time I checked it was at 10.”

My eyes widened with realization. What the fuck was I still doing outside home and so relaxed?! I had no explanation for my parents. The only friend I had was Jason and they must have figured out by now that I wasn’t in his house. They are very much aware that I had no other friend whose house I could be in.

I withdrew from Mr. Brett. “Shit, I need to go,” I said quickly.

Mr. Brett nodded in understanding. “I didn’t want to wake you up. How much trouble are you in?”

“I don’t know. But I’ll be in more trouble than I am now, if I don’t get home before 11.”

“I could talk…”

“No!” I shouted out before he could finish that sentence. He dares not.

He nodded. “I’ll drop you.”

Of course, you have to. I didn’t say that out loud. I rather hurriedly left the kitchen and headed for his room to get my phone. It was dead, making matters worse. They must have been calling.

By the time I returned to the sitting room, Mr. Brett was already dressed. In less than two minutes we were out of his house, inside his car and heading for my house.

Mr. Brett drove fast, understanding my urgency. He parked a few blocks away from my house. I was in a hurry but I didn’t fail to give him a kiss before stepping out of his car.

I ran home without looking back, my heart pounding in my chest. When I stepped onto the porch, I took in a deep breath brazing myself for either tantrums or me being grounded. It was likely to be tantrums since I haven’t done this before.

I slowly opened the door and walked in. Mom and Misha were waiting for me in the sitting room.

“Misha. Are you alright?” my mom rushed over to me as soon as she sighted me.

“I’m fine,” I assured. “Where’s Dad?”

“He’ll be back late, some emergency at the hospital.”

I felt a little relieved, not completely relieved though until I was sure they didn’t tell him anything.

“Where have you been, Misha? You got us worried?!” My mom asked. She has been relieved with the fact that I was okay and safe. Now she was mad.

“A friend’s,” I answered. That was enough to cool off her anger. A smile gradually appeared on her face.

“Really? A friend?”

Of course, she should be excited. Her nerd daughter was finally having a life.

I nodded. “Did you tell Dad?” I asked. Dad was my worry. He would take this more seriously.

“No,” she finally spoke up. Then she sighed and headed up to her room without uttering any other word. I must have really scared her to death. I’ll use that fact to tease her later on. She liked acting like she does not care about anything, when deep down she cared about everything.

“Next time, you should at least call and inform us so we wouldn’t be worried. Especially since we don’t know you to do this.”

“Yes Mom. I’m sorry,” I replied and left for my room.

I shut the door and leaned on it. I breathe out a sigh of relief. I wasn’t in trouble. The only person left to explain myself to was Jason and that would be later.

Right now, what was on my mind was food. I was starving. I plugged my phone to charge and went down to have dinner.

I returned to my room fully stuffed. By the time I finished freshening up and was now in the comfort of my bed, my phone had fully charged. I switched it on and texted Mr. Brett to tell him that I was fine.

I waited for a reply from him. None came. I was tempted to call, but I decided against it so I don’t seem too clingy. I rather laid on the bed and thought about him. Thought about this afternoon.

I felt a feeling of euphoria as I recollected every thrust and I involuntarily began to touch myself. I closed my eyes and sighed. There was still a faint feeling of fear and regret lingering to disrupt my perfect reminisce. Fear that I might have made the wrong decision and regret for making the wrong decision.

I slept off as both the pleasant thoughts and the negative thoughts battled on which to dominate my mind.
