Chapter 71: Breaking Boundaries.

Alexia's POV

I smiled at her , looking around the room to ensure that we were still live.

"I am sorry If I took long"

"Oh my goodness, you look way more beautiful without makeup. When you walked in here earlier I thought you were stunning, but now girl, you look down right gorgeous." She squealed, "and your skin, girl! What is your skincare routine" she said, reaching to touch my face.

A warm feeling filled my heart because I thought it was a horrible idea for me to walk back in there without makeup but I am glad and thankful for her reaction.

"I do not really have a routine",I chuckled.

"What dahhh fuck! You do not have a skincare routine? How is your skin this glorious?" She yelled, momentarily startling me.

I nodded shyly not knowing if I was right to had admitted to not owning a skincare routine.

"Alright let us get right back in to the interview," she said, suddenly turning serious.

"I like your serious face, it is adorable" I remarked, suddenly feeling comfortable enough to tease her.

"Ughh, I try to look serious most times" she laughed. Making me realize that Stelle was a really cheerful and likable person, no wonder she was always the host for the most prestigious interviews.

"The designs you created are no doubt good enough, but who and what things were your inspiration when creating those designs?" She asked, no doubt this question was quite similar to the last one.

But there was a difference, I no longer felt tensed about answering those questions.

"Well," I said sipping the drink I was offered. "Each of my designs tell a story, like this one," I said, reaching for my phone and swiping to the my most recent design. "Fee months prior to this design, I met an expectant mom, whose primary concern was slaying at a party whilst still keeping her and her baby comfortable." I shrugged, earning myself a round of applause from Stelle.

"Wow wow, that is beautiful" she said, wiping invisible tears off her eyes.

"What are your strengths and weaknesses?"

"Uhh, I think my strengths are my family and knowing that there are people who look up to me. My weaknesses, my weaknesses, I do not want to say my weaknesses all over public television." I laughed out, hoping to avert the question from my weaknesses.

"Alright alright, fair enough" she said as she put her hands up in mock surrender.

"Next question please. I am enjoying this" I said, taking another sip of my juice.

"I am glad you are" she returned the smile, politely.

"With the evolve of technology, is it something you think you are comfortable with?"

"Absolutely,  it is no doubt a welcome development. A faster and easier way to constantly reach out to our loved ones.

"I thought same. She exclaimed, "I am glad we share the same views"

"I am glad aswell" I said, getting in my zone.

"Now to the fun questions!!" She squeaked like a teenager being asked on a date.

I laughed at her enthusiasm

"Bring them on Stelle", I found myself playing along with her cheerful demeanor.

"Alright, question number one of the fun segment... Do you enjoying reading?"

"Yes I do. Reading is like an escape from the real world and all its troubles"

"Yippee, I am sucker for romance books, what trope do you prefer?"

"Romance girlie. I love love." I beamed, thrilled to be discussing something I was quite familiar with to another person.

"Your all time favourite?"

"Ughhh, I don't have favorites. I could just narrow them down to the three I enjoyed the most. That's if it's okay with you"

"More than ok"

"I think they would be... Icebreaker, Do over and It ends with us"

"I know all three books, you have a nice taste for good books!"

"Thank you" I said, trying my best to be very modest.

"What is your most memorable project"

"Project?"

"Yes, I meant design project" she corrected.

"I think it should be working on designing a wedding dress for my client."

"That should be interesting and full of emotions as well, Stelle remarked.

"It definitely was"

"Moving on... Was there a time you wished to be someone else?"

I thought back to the times when I wished to be Amber so badly, just so I could at least get a quarter of Kia's attention. I remembered the times I wished I was the girl next door who had an actual dad and not my stone hearted step dad. I looked back at Stelle's waiting eyes, "yes, yes there were times when I wished I was someone else"

"I think everyone has at some point or the other"

I simply nodded, not willing to push further with the topic. I guess Stelle must have caught up with me as she cleared her throat.

"Have you ever caught yourself singing or dancing in the bathroom" she asked with a wink.

"Of course yes, the bathroom is my personal stage" I laughed out.

"I see you are Aria Blues 2.0" she teased.

"Yeah yeah"

"Time for the question that has been on everyone of your fans' minds" she paused and looked at me for something that lasted like a nano second, "are you in a relationship?... Is there any Mr sweeping you off your feet" she said tugging at my arm.

"Well, for now there is none. No one at the moment"

"You heard it here first guys. The CEO of ALEXIAN stitches is still very much single. Feel free to shoot your shots at her but please do not blind her" I laughed at what she said towards the end of her sentence. I needed some of her cheerfulness to rub off on me.

"Do you have a favorite design?"

"No I do not, each design is like a baby to me. I could not possibly have favourites."

'Miss ALEXIAN seems really sentimental, huh" she said as she poked me in the side.
