Chapter 18

Beeze's POV

I woke up and I was immediately aware of what was happening. I was in a closed-off tiny room with a crusty looking bed and something that I hoped not to be blood on the wall.

Standing up, I walk over to the door and bang hard.

"Hey!" I bang harder and my fists began to hurt."Let me out you bloody bastards?"

The door swings open, hitting me in the face and the fall to the ground with a groan.

"Well well well, look who's awake."

Aunt Rena. . .

Wes’s POV

"She's not home." Chess shrugs.

"She's probably with the people who kidnapped Aurora. Break the window." He picks up a rock and sends it flying towards her bathroom window. I watch as it shatters to pieces before I move towards it.

"Were you guys seriously going to start without me?" I turn to find my friend Bella.

"Nice of you to finally make an appearance," Chess says distastefully and I sigh.

"Nice of you to finally get rid of that ugly haircut. You really look stunning now Bruce Lee." He gapes at her before glaring.

This is going to be a long day.

I shakily eye the knife in Rena's hand.

"You know. . . it’s a shame that my sister had you so young. She wanted to keep you but . . . our parents just didn't agree. Poor thing she was." She walks, playing with the knife.

"You got adopted. Yipee! But seven years later you killed your parents. Eight years later I get a call. 'Take care of my little girl for me will you?'. . ." she mocks my mother and I just sit and listen. "And being the best aunty I could, I took you in. And gave you a roof over your head and what do you do?! You run away to be a whore."

"I have to admit you did a pretty good job snatching a very wealthy man. But you knew the deal. And you broke it. You're just like her." She spat. "Disobeying the rules and rebelling that's how she got herself knocked in the first place. But she was always their favorite, my parents adored her, and at one point they adored you too, however, one little birdy went tweet, tweet, tweet into their ear and boom! You were gone. I was so happy that I took away her happiness. But now you're back. I mean I can't harm her now . . . but I can hurt you." She smiles evilly after explaining everything.

"Oh Aurora, how beautiful you are." She murmurs kneeling next to me and I move to get up but she dives the knife into my knee.

I cry out loudly in pain and she slaps me.

"Shut up! The torture has just begun. Wait until you hear my further plans." She smirks before standing and calling in the men from before. "Tie her up. Leave me the knife where it is."

Tears prick my eyes, as they move me roughly, tying my hands behind my back with some rusty chains. The bend my knees and I scream out as pain pierced everywhere.

"Please! Get it out!" I beg but they simply ignore me, chaining my legs to the ground. "Please. . ."

They move to leave and my eyes widen.

"No, wait! Please help me! G-get it out and I'll be quiet I swear." I sob begging but the door shuts close and I am left alone nothing but the sounds of my pain to comfort me.

"There's nothing in this house to lead us to her," I state frustrated and they sigh.

I was getting anxious.

"Guys. . . we need to find her. C'mon. Look harder." Chess tries and I nod.

"How about this?" Bella holds out a small piece of paper and I grab it. "It looks like an address and compared to the handwriting in the journals, it's not her aunt's."

"34th street, Isle park." I read and I furrow my eyebrows. "I've been there before, its basically a dead end."

"Maybe, but it's our only clue, maybe it was hidden?"

"I saw we go for it." Chess shrugs and I sigh.

"Alright let's go."
