Chapter 3
"Jen would you calm the fuck down!" She was busy hyperventilating because she had just seen Anna with Ethan holding hands.
"But—ugh what the hell is wrong with her, doing this to me!? That's it I’m getting over her now!" No she isn’t. Jen’s said that countless times, but it’s never lasted. She always ends up forgiving Anna and getting hurt again.
Sometimes I really wish I could slap Anna, but I know I would get into so much shit.
I rolled my eyes at her and we sat down by our seats. "Ms. Satten, do me a favour please and take this to the office?" I nodded and got the paperwork from my teacher and started to walk to the office.
I turned a corner and suddenly I was on the floor. I groaned and got up. "I’m so sorry I didn't see you—" I was interrupted by a sneer from someone. I looked up and saw three amazingly gorgeous guys standing in front of me.
One of them had blonde hair and green eyes, the second one had hazel brown hair and green eyes, and finally the last one had jet black hair and green eyes.
"You should be sorry. Watch where you’re going next time bitch!" Blondie shouted in my face; that’s when I snapped.
"Listen here assholes, I apologized, but you weren't the only ones who got knocked into! You guys knocked into me as well, so I’m waiting for an apology too." I crossed my arms over my chest and glared straight into their mesmerising green eyes.
They had a confused look on their faces so I knew that they weren't smart enough to understand. "Okay I’m gonna explain it easier to you: you’re going to say sorry to me then I’m going to accept it. Come on, you can say the word. So-rry. Sorry." I don’t know why I wasn't freaking out in front of them, but something about them just made me already want to bash their heads into the wall.
"Are you serious right now?" The one with black hair asked.
"Oh for fuck’s sake, just say the God damn word, then I will be on my way."
"Sorry."
"Thank you, and I accept your apology, goodbye." Then I walked off, leaving them dumbfounded.
After I got back from the office, I walked into class and you know who I saw, those three good looking guys by my group’s table. Where did my group go? Where’s Jen?
I looked around the class and saw Jen and the rest of my group at a new table that was now full. I internally groaned and made my way back to my seat, which was next to hazel-brown haired guy.
I decided to ignore them, not wanting to speak, and wrote down the notes for the class. Though that didn't last long, because brown haired guy started to poke me with a pencil.
I tried my best to ignore it, but I eventually got so pissed off I grabbed the pencil and broke it in two. I gave it back to him and gave him a fake smile. He just smirked at me while the other two wanted to burst out laughing.
"So what’s your name?" I looked up to the blonde and lifted my eyebrow at him.
"Why should I tell you?" They shrugged but didn't reply.
"I'll tell you if you tell me your names first." Shock was stuck on their faces and I wondered why.
"You don’t know who we are?" I shook my head no, and one of them breathed out heavily.
"First person I've met who doesn't know who we are. That’s why you went ape on our ass, ‘cause you didn't know who we were." I shrugged, not really caring.
"I’m Foster Carson." Brown haired guy said.
"Caleb Carson." Jet black haired guy said.
"Dalton Carson." Blonde guy said.
Are you kidding me? He was the one I shouted at yesterday about getting it on in the gym. Maybe it was someone else?
"So what's your name sexy?" Ugh total players, I could tell. Now I wanted to see if this really was the Dalton in the gym.
"Tori Satten, boys." I smirked when I saw Dalton’s eyes widen and recognition came across his face.
"You’re the one who interrupted me yesterday, aren’t you?" He said a little too loud than he was supposed to.
"Well can you blame me? You guys were getting too loud." I shrugged while the other two were trying to keep their laughs in.
"Wait so she’s the one who stopped you yesterday? The so-called 'crazy bitch who only stopped us cause she’s jealous she can't get any,' this is her? Fuck that’s hilarious!" Caleb said while laughing his ass off.
I raised my eyebrow at Dalton and he looked scared shitless. "Crazy bitch who only stopped you cause I’m jealous I can't get any?" Part of that really hurt, but I didn't show it, knowing it would bite me in the ass.
"I-uh-I-I..." He looked down, and I laughed at him and continued my work. We talked the rest of the period, and if I’m being honest they're not that bad of guys, but they'd never be my friends. They're too popular, from what I've heard from them.
After class I met with Jen again. "Gosh I can't believe you were talking with the ‘Sexy Three'!" I gave her a questioning look, but then it dawned on me who they were now.
I should have made the connection. "And you didn't even stutter what the hell! Who are you and what have you done with my best friend?" I laughed at her and we made our way to the cafeteria.
We got our food and sat down in our usual seats. "So, are you still helping Spencer on Friday?" Shit! I just realised I promised Tammy that I could play chess on that day—she'll understand, I’m sure.
"Yeah of course—" I was interrupted when I felt an arm drape around my shoulder. I flinched from the contact and took the arm off of me. I looked to see it was Caleb’s arm. He looked slightly confused, but it soon disappeared and he was smiling again.
I then noticed that the other two were sitting down at our table. "Uh what are you guys doing here?" They smiled at me, then at Jen.
"Hello, Jen right? I’m Caleb, this is Foster, and that’s Dalton." Her mouth was open wide. While she and I were staring at each wondering what they're doing here, they happily started to eat their food and talked like it wasn't weird.
"Uh, I ask this again what you guys doing—" I was again interrupted, but by a high-pitched voice I really wish I could beat the shit out of.
"Boys why are you sitting with these losers? Come on and follow me, popular people sit there." Natasha Maver. Yes, you already know how she is. The only thing that’s different is that she’s not a stupid blonde, she’s actually really smart, and a natural brunette.
"Nah, we're gonna sit here. Bye Nat." Dalton said, looking at her then turning back to his food.
"What?! But they're nobody’s; come on, don't be stupid." That earned her a glare from Foster, which got her to shut up instantly.
"Leave right now Natasha." Caleb said with a very cold voice. She scurried off, and that’s when me and Jen burst out laughing. The guys gave us quizzical looks and we just laughed even harder.
"You guys think she's gonna stop trying to get you over there, good luck!" We had finally calmed down, but they looked scarred at what we said, which made us laugh again.
"Um, Tori Bear, can I speak to you please?" I heard Spencer's voice from behind me. I turned, and sure enough he was there, smiling at me. I nodded and stood up. We walked over to a more quiet spot to talk.
"Hey, what’s up Spencer?" Did I just say a full sentence to him without stuttering? Wow today is a really weird day.
"Um, I just wanted to check that we're still on for Friday?"
"Of course. I said I would and I wouldn't go back on my word." I smiled at him, he smiled at me, and gave me a hug.
I accepted it, it was longer than I thought it would be, but I didn't mind. We pulled apart and went our separate ways. When I got back to the table, it was oddly quiet.
"Woah who died?" Jen gave me a look, saying that I should shut up right now. "So who was that?" Dalton asked out of the blue.
"Oh Spencer, he's a friend of mine."
He nodded and continued to eat. "What did he want?" Foster asked.
"Just wanting to know if I’m still helping him on Friday." They nodded and everything seemed to brighten again.
When the bell rang, Jen and I walked to class without the guys. "Okay what happened while I was gone?" She looked around, wondering if anyone was listening to me, then smiled like the evil maniac she is.
"Well, when you left with Spencer, the guys suddenly turned cold and started to ask me about you and Spencer. I told them that they should ask you and the rest of the time they were glaring at Spencer. They so like you!"
I looked at her like she had just grown a second head, then burst out laughing.
"You’re hilarious Jen, there's no way they like me." She just shook her head at me and smiled.
"You’re so oblivious Tori."
