Chapter 93
Alonzo
Genevieve finally gave up arguing and turned away from me.
Then she dropped her second condition.
“Stella will stay with me. In my house. Don’t ask her to move into your mansion,” she said sharply.
I blinked, caught off guard. That was exactly what I’d planned to suggest.
I wanted them to move to my mansion right now. I desperately wanted to start my own family.
I had seen it all the way here.
Everyday she would come wobbling on her tiny feet. I’ll hold her in my arms. Her laugh echoing in the halls of my home. Disney movies playing while she curled up next to me. Safe and happy.
But Genevieve’s second condition already crushed my dream.
“It’s her father’s house,” I stepped closer and turned her back to face me. “Why would she live anywhere else when her dad owns a damn mansion?”
Genevieve scratched her forehead.
“She is comfortable here.”
I know her fear.
But I am already four years apart from my daughter.
“Listen.. You must compensate me..” I said, my hands inside my pockets. Her brows raised.
“Compensate. for what?”
“For keeping her away from me for damn four years.” I growled. “I would give you a week to change your damn mind. By then, you have to make your decision,” I said impatiently.
It wasn’t a warning. It was a threat.
I couldn’t stay away from my child and her mother any longer.
If it were up to me, I could take Genevieve and Stella to my mansion right this moment.
I would’ve kept them by my side. Even if she doesn’t want it. I could even kidnap them.
And I know no one could stop me from doing it.
But I didn’t want to force Genevieve. I want her to crawl to me on her own.
One week was enough for her to change her mind.
But if even then her mind didn’t change, I would have to handle things my way, on my terms.
And for that, she would perhaps hate me.
“And if my mind still doesn’t change? If Stella and I want to stay here?” Genevieve asked. As if she was trying to read my mind.
She had already decided she wouldn’t come to the mansion, but I wouldn’t let that happen.
“Then I’ll take Stella with me…” Hearing this, Genevieve’s face turned pale, as if all the color had drained from it.
“What? Have you gone mad?” Genevieve said aggressively. “You can’t take her away from me. I am her mother.”
I smirked.
“And I am her father. I have every right to fight for my child.” My hands grabbed her arms.
Her brows shot up.
“This is wrong. You can’t do this.” Her eyes turned glassy.
The mere thought of taking her daughter away from her shook her.
I knew Stella was her weakest point.
I hated myself for using this against her.
But I have no option left.
“Then you’ll have to come with us to the mansion… And if you want, you can legally fight for Stella’s custody.”
I said sarcastically. Genevieve’s eyes widened. She knew that even if she went to court, she could never win against me.
She would lose custody and, unwillingly, have to come to my mansion.
To live with her child’s father.
This thought excited me.
A lot.
I was very close to getting Genevieve.
“Alright… I’m ready to come with you…But I need some time. At least until Stella gets fully recovered.” Genevieve finally gave up.
I smirked with a victorious smile.
“But I have one condition.” She put another new condition in front of me.
But to bring Genevieve and Stella to the mansion, I was ready to accept every single condition.
“Keep your mansion away from your work. I want to give Stella a healthy environment. Crime-free…”
She said,
I was listening to her carefully.
“Alright… Anything else?” I asked.
“And Stella’s safety. I don’t want to compromise on that. Her identity.”
I stopped Genevieve by showing her my palm.
“No one will find out about Stella. And I’m accepting your condition.”
Hearing this, Genevieve relaxed a little. A bit of relief started showing on her face.
“Good.. Now you should leave. It’s too late..” She turned her face away.
My lips curled up.
I thought I would spend tonight with her.
But she already asked me to leave. That’s heartbreaking.
That means no sleeping over on her couch. And no sex.
No fucking on this damn couch. No screaming my name from her lips.
No my cum dripping out of her pussy. It’s even more heartbreaking.
But that’s okay.
Once she would come to my mansion. I promised that she would cum on my cock every fucking night.
Every night my mansion walls heard her screaming my name. The curtains witness her pussy full of my dick.
I would fuck her at every corner of my mansion that only thing she remember was me.
But for now, I would let that thing slide.
Before leaving, I had to make sure about their safety. So I dialled Jasper.
“Tell the guards to keep their eyes on this apartment. No one touches Genevieve or my daughter.”
My tone left no room for argument. It wasn’t a request. It was a warning.
I’d already seen Stella slip out of death’s door once. I wasn’t letting that happen again.
“Yes, boss,” Jasper said quickly. “We’ll make sure anyone who even looks at Doctor Genevieve or the kid gets their eyes taken out.”
He wasn’t joking. Jasper never joked about security. He’d already called in the best private agency and stationed men around her house. Every angle covered. Every exit watched.
I should’ve left then. But before I could take a step, a small hand wrapped around my fingers.
I froze.
Stella.
Her tiny palm felt warm and soft against mine, and for a second, I forgot how to breathe.
“Uncle… are you leaving again?” she asked, her voice small, trembling. “Aren’t you going to stay with us?”
My throat tightened. I rubbed the back of my neck and tried to hide the ache in my chest.
The more I looked at her, the more relief I was getting.
I crouched down to her level and forced a smile that didn’t reach my eyes. “I’ll come see you every day, sweetheart. I promise.”
Her face lit up, and my heart twisted.
“And I told you,” I said softly, brushing her hair away from her face, “don’t call me Uncle. Call me Dad.”
She blinked, then smiled shyly. “Okay… Dad.”
The sound of that one word hit me like a punch to the chest. I pressed a hand against my heart, feeling it thud too hard, too heavy.
That tiny, innocent voice calling me dad—it was the most beautiful thing I’d ever heard.
“My sweet little princess,” I whispered, kissing her forehead, “Daddy wants you to hug him tight.”
She giggled and threw her small arms around my neck. I held her close. My eyes snapped up and I found Genevieve staring at her.
And her eyes turned glassy.
I knew what she was thinking. She might be thinking that I would separate Stella from her.
But she had no idea how badly I wanted Genevieve.
I wanted her in my life, on my bed and inside out.
And I would cross every path for it.
