Falling for you again

In the hazy darkness, the other side of the bed sank slightly. As she swayed, Hazel felt her head becoming even heavier.

“Uh...” she thought it was someone trying to persuade her to drink again, and frowned as she reached out to push them away, “I really....won’t drink anymore.

The next second her neck was suddenly gripped by someone’s hand.

Huh?

“who gave you the courage to come in”? The voice was pleasant, but mixed with a stormy anger. Hazel couldn’t breathe properly and her throat hurt so much that it was unbearable. Hearing the voice at this moment, she was also half sober from the alcohol. She opened her eyes, but due to the lighting, she could only vaguely see a black figure.

The air became thinner and thinner, and her desire to survive made her struggle desperately. But how could she resist a man when she was drunk and he was gripping her neck?

“Snap”

The man snapped on the bedside switch, and the room suddenly lit up. After seeing the woman beside him clearly, the deep gaze that was originally filled with anger was now tinged with suspicion. He slowly released his grip on her. “Hazel”

Hazel finally felt relieved, covering her sore neck and coughing violently. When she finally calmed down, she noticed a gaze that couldn’t be ignored, firmly locked onto her face. she trembled lightly and slowly turned her head, and after a moment, her eyes widened suddenly. “Aiden Jack?

The man’s appearance was handsome and elegant, with distinct features sculpted like a work of art. Under his sword-like eyebrows were a pair of deep, obsidian-like eyes. Although it was a face that would make people exclaim in admiration, at this moment it was full of coldness, indifference, and wickedness. His sharp eyes were like a hawk’s, full of gloom and anger, and were slightly narrowed dangerously. His whole person exuded a chilling sense of oppression.

Who is this man if not Aiden Jack?

Aiden Jack, the youngest of the Jack family in A city, ranked third in his generation. She used to visit the Jack family often and would always call him when she saw him.

Aiden didn’t seem happy to see a familiar face, instead he sneered, “I don’t remember someone like you”

Hazel bit her lip, suppressing the embarrassment in her heart. she was about to get up when she saw the man’s mocking gaze sweep over her, finally settling on her shoulders. :“Even if you were, you wouldn’t be the kind of girl who would take off her clothes and run to another man’s bed”.

She frowned and followed his gaze to her shoulders, completely frozen in place. Her shoulders were completely bare! She was clearly wearing a long, slim fitted dress today! And what embarrassed her the most was that in her struggle just now, the blanket had slipped down quite a bit, revealing a large portion of her delicate and moist skin.

she stared, fumbling to pull up the blanket up a bit higher. This room, judging from the decoration, was probably a hotel..... even though she was usually intelligent and calm, she was completely at a loss now. Almost all the lights in the room were on, and the heating was on full blast, but Hazel felt cold.

That kind of coldness, coming from the bottom of the heart, made her feel not only cold, but also scared and panicked.

He sneered,” Hazel, is this the plan that Brooks came up with? Did he really send you over himself? He’s really generous!

“It’s not like that!”

“Not like that?” The man raised a playful smile, his eyes full of sarcasm. “Does that mean you climbed into my bed on your own?” Her face paled and embarrassment and panic made her eyes to turn red. “No! I don’t know how it happened, I really don’t know, please believe me,” She said urgently, hoping he would trust her.
