Chapter 88

"Aunty Char went with daddy." I was freaking out about Elijah telling Damien they sleeping upstairs but instead he came up with the weirdest idea.

"I'll get you ice-cream okay." Damien told Elijah smiling. "Now what happened to you to make you cry?" He only asked my baby what's wrong with him after he got what he wanted even though Elijah lied.

"I miss Adrian." Elijah cried louder after he said that.

"I miss him too but he will be home soon I promise." Damien said and Elijah nod still crying. "Let's go look for that cousin of mine and his stupid sister." Damien added and Tucker left with him.

I walked after them and made sure they left. I quickly locked the door after that and went to Elijah who was crying on the couch.

"What is wrong with you Elijah?" I asked and he showed me his arm. "Who did that to you?"

"Mommy I'm going to hit Adrian. I hate him." Elijah shouted and i kissed the place Adrian bit him.

"His a baby Elijah." I said and he shook his head. "Why did you lie Elijah?"

"I'm sorry he lied." Charlotte said coming downstairs with Adrian. "I told Elijah to lie."

"But how did you know Damien was here?" I asked.

"I'm a Carson. Carson's will always be in danger that's why you should also learn to sleep with one eye open especially when your son is a target and you pregnant with another Carson." Charlotte replied.

"My children will be fine, thank you for the advice."

"Sofia how do you wake Elijah?" Charlotte asked annoyed. "I swear I did everything to wake him up but it didn't work. I had to use Adrian to bite him."

"I hate you." Elijah shouted at Charlotte angry running upstairs.

"My poor baby hates his own cousin because of you Charlotte." I said and she giggled.

"I should get Adrian before your son beats him up." Charlotte went upstairs and I laughed because Elijah will definitely not respect her after what she made Adrian do to him.

"Can you feed him for me while I quickly make a phone call." Charlotte asked coming downstairs with Adrian. "And please make sure Elijah doesn't bite him back or else Adrian won't stop crying. He is always crying so if Elijah really does anything to him it will be worse."

"Charlotte, Adrian isn't even two yet and Elijah is his cousin he would never hurt him." I assured her and she nod leaving to make the call.

"Open your mouth for your Aunty." I told Adrian trying to feed him but he just kept staring at me. "Do I scare you that much for you to stare at me whenever I'm holding you?" I asked him but he just continued looking at me.

"Mommy, he is not nice." Elijah said taking a seat.

"Your uncle already finds me disgusting so please stop staring at me and open your mouth for me handsome." He finally open his mouth and I started feeding him for the first time ignoring Elijah because I know his going to play the 'I'm your baby' card on me like he used to when I looked after Annette. "Are you going to be dangerous, clever and crazy like your mother or stupid and disrespectful like your father."

"I just hope you don't take after your uncle who is stupid, ugly and selfish and don't let me forget his a cheater and a liar. I can't think of anything else to add right now but I just hope you don't take after him." I was crazy for talking to Adrian while I feed him but it made me feel better talking to someone who doesn't talk back.

"You fucking kidding me Benjamin." I heard Charlotte shout and it got my attention.

"Elijah look after him please." I told Elijah and he shook his head. "If Adrian stays with you I'll get you two ice-creams I promise."

"And pancakes please mommy." He added and I refused so he crossed his arms across his chest angry. "I'm going to hit him when you go." I can't believe this baby of mine.

"Fine. I'll get you pancakes also I promise." He quickly got off his seat and sat with Adrian on the floor looking after him like a good cousin would but in his case he is only looking after Adrian for ice-cream and pancakes.

I quickly tiptoed walking upstairs to were Charlotte was talking on the phone.

"I'm a bad sister." She shouted and I wished I could hear what he was saying on the other side.

"Benjamin I'm in danger, I don't have time for your shit." She added.

"Don't you dare play that card on me Benjamin. I'm not doing anything for you after what you did to your family. Elijah was crying because of you." She shouted.

"Sofia didn't have to tell him anything. Benjamin he heard you two fight and it hurts how you changed a lot. It hurts a lot to find out my brother is a liar." She was trying to calm down.

"Wow. Okay brother you always right so leave Charlotte who always runs away from her problems alone." She was so hurt of what he said.

"No. But if Sofia loses her child because of all the stress you gave her than she would never forgive you. I would never forgive you Benjamin and Elijah will never forgive you."

"If you cared about your kids Benjamin Carson than you would man up and tell your cousin to stop harassing the mother of your child especially now that she's pregnant."

"Of course I'm not with Sofia but where I am is none of your cousin's business so tell him I said fuck you." She hung up angry and I quickly went downstairs.

"Mommy, Adrian said Aunty Char is not nice and she's crazy." Elijah lied as I picked Adrian up.

"Adrian can't even speak expect for a few words and plus he would never call his mother crazy." I replied.

"But mommy she let Adrian bite me." Elijah replied acting angry and Charlotte came downstairs.

"I'm sorry but if you just woke up when I asked you to, then I wouldn't have used my son to wake you up." Charlotte kissed Elijah who was about to explored. "I'm sorry, do you forgive your crazy Aunty?" Charlotte asked and he nod his head.

"I have to leave now or Damien will be back." Charlotte said taking Adrian from me. "I'll come back for my things another time or I'll send someone to get it for me."

"But you didn't eat." I stated.

"I'll get something to eat on the way but right now I'm not safe her---." The door bell rang and I first asked who it is before opening the door.

"Thanks." I said to the man who handed me a letter. "Charlotte it's a letter for you." I shouted closing the door.

"No one knows I'm here so who is it from?" She asked so I handed her the letter and she quickly opened it.

"I don't know how Aiden always knows everything. It's like his a clever spy or something." Charlotte mumbled putting the letter back in the envelop.

"He missed you a lot." I know it's not my place to force her and Jailson to be together but she definitely still loves him.

"I love him Sofia I'll be honest but I love my children more than any guy and right now I don't want to be in a relationship." She replied.
