Chapter 221: Important Show

Drake was at some corner nearby and saw this. He envied Renee and her team more.

Drake felt that he and his team should be entitled with such courteous friendship. But it was the hypocritical Renee who got it. Damn it!

Renee didn't notice Drake and his team at all. She focused on her breakfast.

Renee did not want to waste food. After they finished eating, they asked for packages to box the rest of the food. They planned to use a microwave oven to heat the food for lunch.

A lot of people saw them boxing the rest of the breakfast. They were curious as why did they do it. They could leave the remaining food here and someone would dump it away.

Someone thus came to them and asked why.

Renee then said out her plan.

Hearing what Renee said, they were shocked. They could not believe persons like Renee would be so frugal. They had so much food and thus pack the rest of it for next meal, just to avoid food waste.

In this era, there weren't so many people who still had the awareness of cherishing food. Actually, not so many people in the studio could match Renee and her team regarding this frugality. Though people took extra food on their plates, they would leave food there when they couldn't finish it.

Renee had directly earned herself another wave of good impression.

But she didn't do it on purpose.

Normally she didn't like to waste things. Unless it was for business meals where she had to order too dishes to eat. On that case, she couldn't pack the remaining food home as this wouldn't be proper in front of those guests.

Basically, she ordered the required amount of food and wouldn't waste much.

Renee and her team left and went to the room for taking break. They then put the food in the layers of refrigerator to keep them fresh. When leaving the room, they also locked the door.

The previous thing that the director visited them had showed Renee had installed cameras in the room. The camera could capture images with high definition.

Thus, Renee didn't worry someone would risk of being sent to jail and put poison in the room.

After that, Renee and her team went to site for shooting.

The crew today officially started the shooting. During the first day, two teams whose trainees showed the worst performances would be denied for later show. The rest of teams could continue the show a week later and continue receiving the training.

Thus, many people had to say goodbye to the crew during over ten days of training.

Although everyone had been mentored psychologically regarding this, they still felt nervous at the thought that one day they would lose chance and leave the crew. It could only be said that they felt better after they had been psychologically mentored and undertaken the live streaming.

The show then was officially kicked off. All performers wore the costumes suitable for their performance and also wore makeups. Then they drew lots and started to rehearse according to the sequence of the lots.

Renee's team was lucky as they were the last to perform. As the saying went, they would deliver the most important show.

This made Drake detest Renee and her team for a long time. However, Renee didn't care about what Drake thought at all. Drake thus tasted his hatred alone.

The stage venue for the official shooting at this time was the square where activities were usually held in this remote small place. The stage was built with concrete. Thus, they didn't have to worry someone would do something bad about it. The stage was quite stable.

However, it was an open place and no protection devices were specifically installed to guard it. Many residents nearby heard about the shooting and were curious. They all came here to watch the shooting.

Soon several hundred residents gathered under the stage. This made many trainees nervous.

It surprised them to see so many real-life persons coming to watch them so soon.

After seeing this performance, some of the young audiences quickly realized that this was the team that had performed during the live streaming last night. Some of them liked some performers a lot and were quite surprised to see them face to face in their home place.

These audiences got quite excited and took out their phones to take pictures of the performers. They wanted to share their excitement with other netizens and let others see how lucky they were to see the performers face to face.

The director was concerned that these people would expose their venue of shooting in advance. If so, many fans would all come here, which would undermine their progress of shooting.

However, the audiences had their phones. They were free to do what they wanted with their hands. It seemed the director had no control over their speech online.

Then the director realized this vast amount of attention to the show that was brought by their live streaming before was not that perfect wonderful.

For example, now he began to worry many fans would come here and affect the shooting.

However, the reason why they chose this place for the shooting was also to bring attention to the place, facilitating the development here. It was not bad actually if this place got popular with a lot of visitors.

In order to deal with unexpected situations, the director quickly contacted the security company and asked the company to quickly assign here a hundred trained security persons. This was to ensure the order and security here.

Renee also noticed this, and she turned around and said to Luna and others, "Maybe we only see the audiences today. but the number may double from tomorrow. You should be prepared and don't feel too stressful. Just do your best, understand?"

They seemed to know it and nodded.

They now trusted Renee very much. Naturally they agreed with what Renee said.

But what Renee did not expect was that many fans visited here so fast after they heard the news. After just one hour, another group of additional audiences showed up. Over 100 additional audiences turned up in the square.

If things went on like this in the future, it would be a huge population in the square during weekends. With that huge amount of people, things would go messy easily. By then it would be much easier for Drake to mess up something.

Renee had to remind the director to set up some temporary rooms behind the stage. So those performers waiting to perform on stage could wait in the rooms and didn't have to stay with the audiences.

Renee worried performers might be bothered by some unduly passionate fans if there were too many audiences. Then it might affect the performance of the performers.

Hearing what Renee suggested, the director thought it was quite relevant. Thus, he immediately called people to deliver some temporary rooms here, where performers could rest and power their noses.

Because the publicity did not cost them too much money, they now had saved a lot of money in their budget for advertisement. Thus, the director now had enough money to spend. Things were done quickly.

A few hours later, six temporary rooms were set up in the back of the stage. There was no problem for the staff and trainees to use the rooms.

Renee didn't fight for the rooms close to the stage with others. Instead, she and her team chose a room far from the stage and temporarily rested there.

At this time, the rehearsal show was properly presented on the stage with order. The audiences under the stage were very sensible, applauding and screaming. They didn't even need to ask the crew team to create some vibe for the show.

Many trainees were quite nervous. But when they heard the audience cheering, they felt that their performance should be good. Thus, they had confidence in themselves and performed more naturally.

After their show was completed, many trainees felt better than they were at the beginning of their performance. The director saw these and felt it was a good idea to let the performers perform under such a large number of real-life audiences.
