Chapter 203: Just Wait for My Victory
Those trainees were experiencing inner struggles.
Renee was so good. Must they remain indifferent to help her because they might suffer cyberbullying?
The director coughed twice and glanced at Drake beside him.
Then, he spoke, "Sorry."
"You took away the practice room's surveillance video before. The leaders of Blue Sky were irritated."
"They ordered me to protect the trainees' privacy well, or they will sue me. I'm so sorry. I can't give you the surveillance video."
The director used the Blue Sky as an excuse. Anyway, the leaders did warn him before.
As for the leaders' purpose?
No one knew.
Maybe they were afraid that their stars' wrongdoings might be caught again.
Hearing that the Blue Sky had even specifically warned the director, Renee sneered coldly.
Then, she spoke, raising her voice, "Did you hear that? The Blue Sky seems to be feeling very guilty! What if they have any other tricks?"
"Now you can no longer have surveillance video. For your safety, please protect yourselves well, so as not to be played tricks on."
Renee appeared more considerate.
Whether she could prove her innocence was not the most important for now. She wanted to build good relationships with the trainees to ensure they at least wouldn't help the public target her.
As the witnesses, as long as the trainees remained silent, no matter how chaotic the public opinion was, the public couldn't have any evidence.
She had no evidence, and neither did Felix.
Her reminder alerted the trainees. They quickly distanced themselves from Ronald and Drake, fearing they might be in trouble.
After all, they had witnessed Luna's trouble.
Drake's face darkened, and he took two steps forward. "Renee, don't talk nonsense! We're only worried that our stars' privacy might be maliciously obtained. Why should we be guilty?"
He wouldn't admit it, so he must refute it.
Renee shrugged and said, "I didn't say what you'll do. I just reminded them to protect themselves. What are you anxious about?"
"You just need to do your normal work, practicing and performing, and nothing will happen. Understand?"
The trainees praised Renee in their hearts.
They dared not oppose Drake but dared to support a hero like Renee in their hearts to speak up!
Drake snorted, "You're struggling to protect yourself. Why are you still meddling here? You better think about how to calm down the online turmoil. Otherwise, Felix's fans may bite your head off if the director doesn't replace you."
He was pleased with Renee's trouble.
Many trainees saw his gloating look and inwardly looked down on him.
Renee prepared to leave and find other ways to handle the accident.
Just as she arrived at the door, a trainee mustered the courage to stop her and said, "Renee, I am willing to help you explain."
Soon after, more and more trainees expressed their willingness.
Before long, more than ten people stood up.
Seeing she had won over so many unsophisticated people, Renee secretly sighed that only inexperienced trainees were so easy to win over.
It was impossible for those experienced to stand up for her. They would be more concerned about whether they would be affected.
"It's okay. I will handle it myself. You don't need to cause trouble for yourself."
Renee's words made the trainees feel even more that someone like her should not be slandered, so they insisted on speaking for her.
Renee felt speechless.
She didn't mean to ask for their help. Everything she said was sincere.
She didn't expect them to be so passionate. Some had even taken out their phones and started typing. She couldn't stop them even if she wanted to.
"You really don't need to..." she again said.
Seeing so many trainees who were not afraid of trouble, Drake felt even more disdainful.
"Oh, I see. You want them to sympathize with you and speak for you even if they may have trouble, right?"
"You are indeed despicable!"
Renee's gaze fell on Drake's face as she coldly replied, "Oh? Am I despicable? Aren't you the most despicable here?"
"Do you not know if I am innocent, or do you not know that I once reminded the trainees not to practice after eating?"
"You know everything, but you feel happy with my accident. Aren't you the most despicable?"
Drake was left speechless.
The trainees despised him even more.
In their eyes, compared to the kind-hearted Renee, Drake was incredibly malicious.
Drake's words didn't make them feel that it was Renee's fault that she wanted them to help her explain. Renee did nothing wrong.
She did a good deed. Why should she be falsely accused by the ungrateful Felix and bear so much?
Suddenly, Renee received Zarek's call.
She was a bit reluctant to answer his call.
It must be because he saw what had happened to her that he called her.
And she hadn't figured out how to answer him yet.
However, Zarek would definitely worry about her if she didn't answer his call. So, even if she felt a bit reluctant, she walked outside and answered the phone.
Zarek's low voice sounded. "Why didn't you tell me about your trouble?"
She coughed twice and said, "I can handle it. Don't worry. Just wait for my victory."
She didn't want Zarek's help. If he were to intervene, she would doubt her own capability.
Zarek sighed, "You're still so stubborn."
"But you need to know, you can refuse my help, but you can't let me not know. Whether you need my help is up to you, but you must let me know, understand?"
"If you hide your trouble from me again in the future, I'll help you without your permission, okay?"
