Chapter 35: Raymond's POV: A passionate night

Raymond Pov:

I asked my gateman if Arielle had been in the mansion since, and he said he had not seen her since morning.

I dialled her number again and it was switched off. I knew I was just paranoid, she'd be back soon, so I went to my study to do some work. I also had the security camera outlet for the front door and surroundings in my study.

I glanced at it over and over, but I didn't see any sign of Arielle entering the living room. It was already past midnight, and there was no sign of her. I called her again, and it went to voicemail.

After much thought, I called the bodyguard I assigned to her to ask where she was, but he didn't pick up his phone. When did he become incompetent? I was already getting furious when he didn't answer for the third time. I sighed in defeat. What could be going on? I have never been this worried about anyone in my life before It was like I was suffocating with her not being around.

I suddenly remembered I had Arielle's aunt's number.

I was about to call her when I saw a figure on the security camera.

It was Arielle. I breathed out in relief and quickly ran downstairs to see if she was okay.

“Arielle!” I exclaimed

She looked perfectly fine and still dressed in what she wore when she left the house in the morning.

She didn't reply, instead, she walked close to me and claimed my lips.

I was taken aback by her action but I couldn't resist her, the passion burnt inside me.

"Arielle…" I said hoarsely between the kisses. "Don't you want me?" she asked, pouting.

Before I could reply, her lips pressed against mine again. I lifted her and placed her on the couch, planting a kiss on her neck. She unbuttoned my shirt, and I unzipped her gown. The way she touched my bare body made me want to explode.

After undressing each other, we were left with our underwear. I then decided to take her upstairs to my room, and she didn't say a word. As I pushed the door open with Arielle in my arms, the kiss continued.

I didn't know what got into Arielle. Does she want to have sex with me? I had waited for this for so long, and I didn't want it to pass me by. But at the same time, I felt something was off with her.

She noticed my hesitation, so she pulled me to the bed. "I want this, Raymond, and I know you do too. And I'm sober, so why not?" At this moment, I was convinced.

I traced kisses down her body, patted her legs open and pulled her panties. She pulled my boxers quickly and I was satisfied with the feeling that she wanted me.

our bodies entwined,

Arielle's eyes met mine, and I saw passion in them. She wrapped her legs around me, pulling me deeper into her. I groaned, feeling myself getting closer to the edge.

"Arielle," I whispered, my voice hoarse with desire.

"Raymond," she replied, her voice barely audible.

I felt a deep connection with Arielle. It was as if our bodies were made for each other. I couldn't help but wonder if this was what it meant to be in love.

She was already wet and I entered her and it was blissful.

Hearing her moan made me even want to go harder.

****

Arielle slept by my side that night and it was just so perfect seeing her sleeping peacefully like an angel, I just wanted to watch this beauty sleep all night long. Arielle was one of the most beautiful women I have seen. Can't even be compared to Mitchell.

At that moment I felt sort of unhappy that Mitchell wasn't here with me. I missed her and still loved her even though I told myself otherwise. And maybe it was because of her absence I'm feeling this way about Arielle. If only she could just come back.

I sighed, maybe I'm not just lucky with love.

Staring at Arielle.I stroked her hair.  I felt something different earlier when we had sex, something I haven't felt with anyone, I enjoyed it and I hope it doesn't stop anytime soon. But it was a shame this would come to an end soon.

My phone suddenly beeped.

It was a text from Ivana.

“You up, can I call you?”

“Sure.” I texted back.

I got out of the bed, taking a glance at Arielle. I walked out of the room, careful not to disturb Arielle, and answered Ivana's video call.

Ivana's face appeared on the screen, her eyes looking tired but her smile bright. "Hey, bro! What's up?"

"You're up late,"

Ivana rolled her eyes. "You think?”

“How's the preparation going?” I asked.

She pouted, “where's my loving brother, can't you see my puffy eyes? I haven't even had a proper night's rest and You can't even ask how I am.”

I held my laughter with a serious tone.

I said, "I'm sorry, How's work?"

“I thought you'd never ask. I'm dying of stress.”

“You chose to follow your passion, if not you'd be here with me in the company so don't complain.”

“OMG Raymond, when would you quit being a hater?”

“Can't you say something like that? Ivana, you should take time off or you should try to rest properly. Just something a loving brother would say. Why do you have to behave like a clown?”

I burst out laughing.

“The day I'll act like a day just knowing something got into my head.”

“You're so mean. Anyway, I called my trusted event planner and she said that everything would be ready by tomorrow evening.”

“But the fun part of it is that you'd act like you'd forgotten her birthday, since her aunt is her closest person, tell her about the plan because I don't think you'd be able to convince her to go with you to the venue.”

I watched her mouth move as the words came out and nodded

It was such a heavy task but I'm sure I'll be able to pull it off.

“Would you be able to do that?” Ivana asked.

“Why not, I would.”

“Good just don't mess it up, you're her husband so treat her right.”

After Ivana noticed things haven't been going well between Arielle and I, she hasn't stopped pestering me.

Ivana's expression softened, and she smiled. "But seriously, how's it going with Arielle? Are you guys getting along?"

I just knew she was going to ask this question. I hesitated. But Ivana's curious expression prompted me to open up. "We're...getting closer. I think."

Ivana's eyes widened. "Ooh, spill the tea! What's going on?"

I chuckled, feeling a bit more at ease. "Let's just say we had a...moment. And I think things might be looking up for us."

I smirked and added “By the way, When are you going to get married.”

Ivana held her chest like she was stabbed

“Is that the thank you I get from all of these? You bloody ingrate.”

I chuckled. “I love you, sis.” I muttered.

“I don't love you anymore. Mr Ray.

I’m hanging up now.”

As I dropped my phone a smile crept on my face.

Ivana's so dramatic
