Chapter 26: Raymond's POV- I want her so bad

As I entered the room, my eyes met Arielle. I didn't know what I was doing, letting my heart control my brain.

I want Arielle in my arms, I craved for her. Ever since she left for her one month leave. I realized that this was not just mere attraction. I wanted her. And maybe if I had sex with her. All these would stop.

Seeing her at my uncle's birthday party just wanted me to have her there, the way her skin shines, her curves.

I am losing my mind and I just want to get this over with, I couldn't resist it anymore.

"What do you think you're doing barging into my room? " She said

My gaze fell on her lips.

I felt my heart racing in my chest. I couldn't believe the intensity of my desire for her.

I didn't say a word as I approached her, my eyes fixed on hers. She backed away, her eyes widening, until she reached the wall behind. I closed in, my lips inches from hers.

Before I could control myself, my lips met hers.  She soon reciprocated, her mouth opening to mine, and we kissed passionately, our tongues entwining.

I pulled her close, circling my arms around her waist, feeling her curves mold to mine. As we kissed, I circled my hands on her neck and  lifted her off the ground, carrying her to the bed. our lips were still locked.

We fell onto the soft sheets, our bodies entwined. I kissed her neck, her breast, and she moaned, her body arching beneath mine. I reached for her towel robe pulling the rope slightly, my fingers brushing against her skin.

But just as I was about to pull it off, she stopped me. "Raymond, stop," she whispered, her voice husky.

I pulled back, my chest heaving, and looked at her. Her eyes were clouded with desire, but also fear. I knew I had to slow down, but my body screamed for release.

"Why?" I asked, my voice low and rough, my lips still inches from hers.

"We can't do this," she said, her voice low. "We signed a contract. And there's Mitchell..."

I felt a little guilty, but it was quickly replaced by desire, my lips were inches from hers. "I don't care about the contract," I whispered. "I don't care about Mitchell. I care about you.

I tried to read her facial expression. And all I saw was the desire, the need, the longing. And I knew I had to push, to test her limits.

"Should I go?" I whispered, my breath caressing her skin.

She swallowed hard, her eyes locked on mine. And I knew, in that moment, she wanted this also.

I didn't wait for to reply me, my lips pressed against hers. her mouth opened to mine, and I took advantage of the opportunity.

My tongues rolled against hers and burning desire rushed through my veins. I deepened the kiss, my hands roaming over her body, exploring part of her body under the covering.

She moaned and I loved the sound she made beneath mine, and I knew I had her right where I wanted her.

But just as things were getting intense, she pushed me away.

"Raymond, stop," she whispered, her voice shaking.

I stopped, my heart racing, and looked at her. What was she afraid of? And why was she pushing me away?

Before I could ask her any questions, she scrambled out of bed, her eyes avoiding mine.

"I need some space, you need to leave now," she whispered,

I swallowed a lump that formed in my throat and I got up, my d**k was already f**king hard.

I walked out of the room, closing the door behind me. I couldn't believe what had just happened. I had never felt such a strong desire with anyone before, not even Mitchell and yet Arielle was pushing me away.

I felt like I was losing control as I walked back to my room. I thought of going back to her room. I knew she had just been hard and she wanted this as well.

I entered my room and slammed the door, locking it behind me. I throw myself on my bed trying to calm myself down.

But my mind kept wandering back to Arielle. I spotted bruises on her neck and head. It seems She hid it with make up earlier on. All my dad was blabbing about protecting her was all adding up now. Who could have done that to her?

I sighed and rubbed my temples. What is Arielle doing to me? I knew I wasn't thinking clearly.

*******

The next morning

I woke up with the the vibration of my phone on my bed. I looked at the screen and saw that it was a text from my security team.

"Sir, we have located your father just got back to his mansion. the text read.

My heart skipped a beat as I read the message. Finally he is back.

I quickly typed out a response, that I Was heading there now.

I was going to confront him, to demand answers.

After he learnt that I knew he was involved in the death of my mother.

He took to his heels like a coward. I just wanted an answer from him but he hasn't been seen ever since.

I had the ability to look for him but I was patiently waiting for him to come back.

And the moment I had been waiting for was finally here.

I quickly made my way downstairs.

I could feel my anger boiling over, and I knew I had to keep myself under control or I'll do something drastic.

I got in my car and sped up to my father's mansion.

I stormed into the living room, my anger boiling over. My father stood by the window, his eyes fixed on me.

"Raymond," he said, his voice dripping with condescension. "I see you're still as impulsive as ever."

I clenched my fists, trying to keep my temper in check. "Why did you run?" I demanded.

My father shrugged. "I had my reasons," he said. "But I'm back now. I came to make a deal with you.

I raised an eyebrow. "What kind of deal?" I asked, my voice cold.

He smiled. "I'll tell you everything you want to know," he said. "But in return, you have to do something for me."

I hesitated, my mind racing. What could my father possibly want me to do? And what more secrets was he hiding?

But I knew I had to hear him out. I had to know the truth. I took a deep breath, my rage already calming down.

"I deserve the truth but okay, I'll listen" I said finally.

My father paused, studying me intently. "You see, Raymond, I wasn't involved in your mother's and brother's death."

“Don't think I'm a fool dad, I did my findings and even though I was still young, I  remember bits of what happened the previous night before she died. You and her had a big fight.

Flash back.

“How dare you lie to me,” my dad shouted at the top of his voice.

“How can you believe someone else over your own wife for goodness sake.” My mom retorted.

Me and my siblings were in our room when we started hearing the argument. They have been fighting for a while now and I just wanted it to end.

“I wish I never married you.” My mom said her voice raised

“I wish you died in that accident my dad fired.”

“You're so unbelievable” my mom muttered

“If that's the case we should get a divorce" my dad said.

"Oh, that's always been your plan,  so you can bring in those little girlfriends of yours to my home, to take my place after all the struggle with you,

you're finally making a name for the company and you want to put me off just like that after suffering with you. It would be over my dead body.” She retorted.

“We shall see then.” And that was my dad's last word as I heard the door slam.

My dad didn't come home that night.

****

The next evening, As I slept, Ivana woke me up. I heard noise from downstairs.

Ivana pulled me and we hid in the wardrobe. I heard the sound of two gunshots.

I grasped but Ivana covered my mouth.

Soon heavy footsteps came up and the door opened.

Where are they? A deep voice said and before I knew the wardrobe door opened.

We were dragged outside. I saw a pool of blood on the floor in the living room.

They carried Ivana and I to their car. And chloroform was placed on our nose. And I blacked out.

I woke up the next day in the mansion not remembering how I got back.

End of flashback.

“Can you listen to me now? Because what I have to tell you will change everything." My dad said.
